I always remember the time ye went up to Bramall Lane and we lost, I think it was 1-4. The clip of ye coming back in the car was priceless. Look how far we've come since.

On Chukwuemeka, he's always looked great against his own age group. Not once have I thought he looks class against men. As you said, when get started, he was a passenger. He has been given opportunities to show what he can do and never have I thought "wow, this kid is the one". KKH in Australia looked twice the player Carney ever did. Same with Iroegbunum, thought he composure was class. Would be my first choice to partner Kamara in a double pivot if we went for it. Genuinely think a Championship loan would have done Carney the world of good, but I get the impression he believes that is below him. Shades of the next RLC about him tbh.

It's good to be back. I'm surprised we haven't got more out goings yet, would of thought Guilbert would be back in France by now. Feeling confident, just hope we don't lose these sort of games if we're serious about a solid top half finish
I think the outgoings are only quite slow because Gerard wanted to see how some players did in pre season there is still a month left I think we’ll see a few leave in that time.
Agree with Dan on Chambers over Mings. Chambers didn’t put a foot wrong in the games he played in last season, only one could be Konsa who if he can repeat his 20/21 form, would go in next to Carlos.
Shout for a number 8 would be Ndombele, hell of a talented player there if the best can come from him.

During Gerrard's presser for this game, talking about moving the captaincy, he said now Mings "can push for a place in the team".
I think Tyrone Mings has been extremely hard done-by in the press, and by the fans.

Got a funny feeling Archer is starting tomorrow. Lethal against championship sides last season. Bournemouth weaker than last season too... could be the perfect catalyst for him to really kick on.

Watkins is a great lone striker .Look at his goals a number he created himself,. The service into him has been poor .. The squad is strong , there’s all kinds of permutations .Can the guys put in 90 mins ..Consistently… Last season 45/60 mins …
Chambers has got to start there's nothing else he can do , not done anything wrong and scored goals what more can he do ? Mings has not been good and konsa was terrible last year, chambers consistent every time he played and great passer of the ball , In my opinion has to be Carlos and chambers
It's between Konsa and chambers Konsa had some poor games last season but I don't think mings helped.before last season Konsa was our most consistent player
@@neilgilder4036 only problem I have with konsa is he backs off too much around the box and let's the strikers shoot , I don't know just think chambers can't do much more tbh offers more with playing out from the back too in my opinion and more of a goal treat in opposition box

I would have thought that Wesley should have been given another chance after recovering from his injury . When he came he appeared to be a good signing but not given a chance by Gerrard and either sell him or give him a chance to get his place back.

good riddance. This boy was going to be toxic in the dressing room with his attitude of self importance. i think he will be disappointed at Chelsea who are buying even better players than him.
