Looks amazing! Tried doing a similar thing recently with branches but the round shape of the branch seemed to confuse the crowd agent spawning/animation. I guess the standard setup is meant for more flat planes. How did you approach them moving along the branch?
I think the ant model was from sketchfab, it had a walk animation that I altered and tweaked a little but most of the work there was setting up the rig with crowds.
Just out of curiosity how long did each frame take to render and what hardware are you using if you don't mind me asking? I'm working on something similar in a different DCC. But I'd rather be doing it in Houdini.

I will have to look up the exact times but from memory it was around 4-5mins / frame on my 7950x - 4090 - 3090ti
