Never thought id actually see dan working nice job
Ha thanks
Hey, don't you have to worry about that grease blowing the seals? What is too much grease, because my uncle who worked for Cape Canaveral was a huge fan of lubrication and Marvels Mystery Oil. He would always ask me why my hubs were leaking and seals blowing. I cut back on the grease and no more issues. So how much is too much?
It will be cool to see the roxor finished
for sure
Love this style of video Dan .
Thanks so much
Always wear safety glasses when using snap ring pliers !
Warn “UN-locking” hubs.
Dan I am used to seeing you in more of a supervisory role. Can't wait to see the Roxor when it is done. #TIACREW
Per warn instructions, no grease, "oil" in the hub.
You'll have them revelations when you read the distructions.
cool that you do vids like these!!!
Nicely done Dan.
Stuff a set of Spartan lockers in there and you would have a trail ready beast. Because you have the free wheeling hubs, it would still drive nicely in two wheel drive!
A front locker does nothing to change your steering when in 2wd, regardless of the hubs being engaged or not.
@wvjeepguy81 Haha. All of my 4x4 have lockers in the front and free wheeling hubs. Just go ahead and leave your hubs locked in on an icy surface and try to steer. Regardless if you are in two wheel or four, the front locker wants to keep the wheels going straight. I thought every real 4Wheeler knew this
So do you hubs help if you have an open differential?
no. the only thing these hubs do is allow you to unlock them. they won't affect performance at all.
Get vid! Short and to the point! Cudos
I have 1978 jeep cj7 quadra trac which is 4wd if was to put hub lockers without a part time conversion kit I would destroy my transfer case. Would call manufacture to double check
Dan actually does work in the video?!?!?!?
No way!!!!!!!
I know right. Who knew.
I know right lol
What do locking hubs have to do with making it street legal? TJ's and jks don't have locking hubs.
I'm pretty sure Tj and Jk's have automatic hubs I could be wrong. This upgrade allows for less wear and tear on the drive train for driving around town. It also makes steering a bit lighter. Also if needed can use 4wd low gearing in 2wd.
@@Toolsinaction they do not have automatic hubs. Fully engaged all the time. Is why front driveshaft spins. Yjs have same unit bearing design but have the CAD as do the jls. So I really don't see how the hubs your putting on help make this road legal. Seems like you just trying to advertise an expensive item.
@@TheHopback this part isn't required for street legal. It makes it less wear and tear for when they do drive it tons of miles around town. Just a Roxor mod they are doing while making it street legal.
Yeah but they should!
@@TheHopback I don't care if you buy it or not. Get Mile markers.. Locking hubs save on drive train wear bottom line.
So what was the other ranks you used the brand you told us the brand of the impact gun but not the nut driver
Ingersoll Rand 12V ratchet :}
Do you have any lockers on this and if so what lockers are they ox or lunchbox lockers
Going for Ox
Lockers
Awsome! This is why I subbed. Please keep the Roxox vids coming... honestly, I don't really watch most of the others😏
"I don't know if there's supposed to be grease in there or not." (Packs it with grease anyway.) Maybe you should find out first. OEM Jeep manual that applies to locking hubs and that front end, "Do not pack hub with lubricant." And you've never heard of a Warn hub doing anything crazy or breaking? Really? Wow.
Bad Ass !!👍👍
