Fede is a truely twisted director and I'm here or it. I haven't really looked forward to anything Aliens related since the first sequel but this is totally doing it for me. The visuals finally feel like a real expansion of the core lore.
@@anthonyyoutubefan7567 Fede Alvarez got the idea for this movie from playing Alien: Isolation. Whether this is a backdoor Alien: Isolation movie or just a standalone movie in the Alien franchise, who knows right now. We do know it's set between Alien and Aliens, set on an abandoned space station (sound familiar?) and is not connected to the other movies other than the obvious stuff like the xenos and setting etc.
Hi Dustin and Wendy, I enjoyed your reaction to aliens trailer 2. I wonder if this one will be scarier because the last one I saw. In 2017 hardly scared me. But let's see about this one.
Alien 3 you get to see it inside. Highly underrated movie in the franchise imo. As far as favorite film though u cant beat Aliens. I hope Romulus makes me think otherwise. Happy to return to the horror aspect.
It feels like Fede has taken aim at a hybrid (no pun intended) between the first and second movie. I believe it's supposed to be set in the window between them, whilst Ripley is still drifting through the darkness..? Looking forward to it.
From Aliens and Predators I am more of a ''Predator guy'' 😅 (in the way of I like the Predators more 😁 ..as an alien from some other planet) ..but I do like seeing Aliens movies too (faves were the first two of course) ..so I am looking forward to seeing this movie too. Hope it can be good enough. 😀 I did like that previous remake of ,,EviI Dead'' from 2013 who was also made by Fede Alvarez so that can give me some hope that I may like this Alien Romulus movie too.
I think they want to go more into the horror direction of Alien just like the first film instead of focus on the action. You know this movie is going to be terrifying and so gory because it's directed by Fede Álvarez who gave us the 2013 remake of Evil Dead and Don't Breathe. This film set between the events of Alien (1979) and Aliens (1986)..... The actress Cailee Spaeny is getting a lot of amazing roles coming off of her Golden Globe and Oscar nominated role in Priscilla and the top rated Civil War alongside Kirsten Dunst.
For me it's pretty much a tie between the first 2 Alien & Aliens, don't get me wrong I enjoy all of them with my least favorites being a 3 way tie between Alien 3 & the prequels, the only reason I have Resurrection higher on the list is because I'm a huge Ron Pearlman fan & in my opinion anything he's in is automatically better simply because of his presence.
Resurrection was weird, but I'm down with weird. I have enjoyed all of them with the exception of the AVP films (just weird to see Xenomorphs on earth in the present day, not the future) and some of the Covenant lore.
Your husband said he wasn't "bagging" on the trailer for Alien: Romulus...yes, he was. He seems to think he knows quite a bit about movies...well, so do I. Enjoy them and quit being so critical about the film until you actually watch it. I'm extremely excited for Alien: Romulus, just like I was about Furiosa...he made a comment about "CGI" in that film. He's not an expert in CGI, just like he's not an expert in getting a haircut.
Don't be so mad, bro. Just enjoy them and quit being so critical of other's people opinion about a trailer 😅 Movie's gonna be awesome. You know you didn't have to choose to go the route of a personal attack on someone's appearance, but ya did 🤷🏻♀
"I don't like that sound. Why don't I like that sound?"
Somewhere a sound editor is punching the air in victory.
lmaooooo

That zero gravity scene with the acid blood that Fede described is gonna be so sick
Apparently, this film is set between Alien and Aliens. So Ripley is still sleeping out there.
And her Daughter, Amanda, is back home on Earth, still wondering what's happened to her Mother. I hope ALIEN: Isolation somehow connects to this.

That x-ray thing was insane!!! I won't be eating anything while watching this movie. I'm very excited for Romulus.
In Fede Alvarez we Trust. 🙏 if there's one man that can do this. It's Him. I knew that right after seeing Evil Dead.
This movie give me Alien Isolation game vibes
I think he took some inspiration from that video game too.
I like the big yellow chairs!!! 🤣
lol we just got them
I didn’t even notice em. But now that I have, yeah agreed. Totally a vibe & fits their channel.
This looks absolutely gnarly and I'm very excited to see what Fede brings.
which they have captured the atmosphere of the 1st movie. Perfectly. A nice 1st entry to the new alien saga.
Let’s hope they have motion trackers, like back in Aliens and Alien Isolation. Nostalgia! 😱👽☠️
I love the whole Remus/Romulus Roman mythology subtheme and what it could mean for the story.
I can't wait to watch this in cinema. My favourite of the franchise are Alien and Aliens.
This movie is gonna rock!
I hope it brings us back to the terrifying franchise where in space, no one can hear you scream
Woooooooooooow💕💕💕💕 amazing😍🤩 movie trailer💕💕 i enjoy the same reaction🎉❤🎉❤...
This looks soooooo good. The editor(s) of this trailer deserves a raise. Sold me and got me hyped for this.
They’re doing the horror 70’s vibes from the first movie alien

Thanks for the video!! See you later!! Stay safe.😊
many think its big chap. the Alien from the first movie. he been floating out there. its missing half its face plate and is burned and messed up.

Hyped! Wooooooooooo!
This looks awesome hopefully it’s good
This one will be as much horror, as it is sci fi, if not moreso.

I’d say “Aliens” (1986).

Glad it’s going to be more Horror than action. Personally I was disappointed with Aliens 1986
You two are late to the party!
lol usually yes. We recorded this yesterday but was too busy with regular work/life stuff that we didn't have the time to edit and publish until now.
@@TheMovieCouple well I’m glad you guys enjoyed!!
That’s a different channel. 😁
😂
