I had a puppy survive parvo dispite having been vaccinated. Best dog ever. Very expensive care but she was worth it.

One definitely can not put a price on our furbabies. They are the most precious and priceless members of the family. Their unconditional love is one of the greatest gifts, that we have the privilege to experience. Let each of us cherish every moment. 🙏💗🙏💗🙏💗

I don’t care if you’ve had a dog for one minute they instantaneously steal your heart. We had one of our dogs that got sick right after we adopted her and I was devastated, I laid by that puppy like she was part of me. What’s crazy about her was she was my most personable dog we have ever had to this day. I am so happy that she is doing well and you now know how strong she is.
I adopted a rescue from romania, she was on "discount" cause no one wanted her cause she had been attacked and half her muzzle is missing. Nothing painful just looks a bit drastic. Anyway, i had her for 2 weeks and she got cancer -.- Luckily she is healed now, 4 years later and still cancer free, but yeah TLDR, i love a dog the second i meet them xD

Dogs are funny they don’t remember as humans do and I believed you gave him a brand new life the day you brought him home. It is sad that you couldn’t have gotten him sooner and spare him a lot of hell but you did all you could do and you should feel good about that and you were loved by a special animal and you will forever be able to carry his memory in your heart because as long as we remember and celebrate their life whether it be an animal or a person, they are never truly gone then are they..

We just rescued our fifth dog a great Dane boxer mix to be a playmate with our two year old great Dane and we couldn’t be happier that we added another bundle of joy to our pack in our house and you are a great inspiration to everyone who loves animals. You rock bro.

I found a puppy once. I named him Darth. Some kids were throwing rocks at him and some other kids in the neighborhood came and told me. So I ran out & got him. Yes, I spoke to the kids about kindness to animals. I took him to my vet because I was concerned that he may have been injured. Turned out he had Parvo. 😢 I got him treated but he was too sick and didn't make it. Broke my heart. 💔🌈 Hope he knew, that in his last moments he was loved. 💖
Thank you so much for highlighting her story. I love Wildies, but they really need special care, just as you have shown. They are smarter, wilder, faster and a step ahead. They move with much more fluid motion than pure domestic dogs. The call of the wild can easily pull them off the trail. I really appreciate that you discussed the care that you take of her, nature must be respected.
If you only knew how close to Spirit you are. We can see it and feel it from you and so can the animals. Don’t change you are doing amazing work you don’t even realize.

I can only imagine that hearing her howl in the night would send chills up and down my spine. I think I would forget to breathe. She has something ancient and wise in her eyes.
Seniors is where my heart is too. I’ve always said if I won the lottery, I’d buy a bunch of land and a big van. Then head to the rescues & say “load up all the old goats, please”!! I’d give them the best months/years of their lives. I’ve done it before & it’s so rewarding & wonderful. 💕💕

we adopted a Papillion from a rescue that had raided a mill. Gizmo was an itty bitty baby. She hadn't gotten all her shots yet & At 10 weeks got parvo. 4 days at vet hospital but she survived. Due to other health issues coming from a terrible puppy mill, our vet didn't want her around other dogs at all. We started calling her our barking cat, cuz our cat decided she was HER baby. Even helped us box train the dog cuz she followed "mama" to the litter box. Gizmo survived a lot, only had 1 working eyeball but lost most sight in that at 3 yrs. She was just the happiest barking cat until last November she had a stroke. We had to say goodbye to our 14 yr old Baby Girl. I love what you do, your positive outlook & I get my dog fix!
So thankful that Loba has recovered nicely, and has returned to good health.

I was a vet tech during the first parvo outbreak in the late 70's. It was absolutely horrible. At the time the survival rate was maybe 40-50%. Thank heaven for vaccines!
Where I live there is a “breeder” (puppy mill) all the puppies had parvo. They keep trying to shut her down but she somehow keeps re-opening. It breaks my heart seeing these dogs suffer and I want to help them all so bad!!

Soo glad Loba got through that. One of my dogs had parvo and getting him cleared from that was a pure blessing. Hate hearing anytime a precious pup has to go through that crap.

Before parvo vaccinations were available and only gave them the cat distemper shot, I took a year old lab through parvo. It was three weeks of vet visits, rehydration and tons of money. It was all worth it
You don't need tons of money. You need colloidal silver, pretty cheap.
@@patriciaboyd2681 This was like 40 years ago. When it first hit Texas, no one knew what to do about it and it spread like a wildfire. Everyone I knew were just throwing their puppies and dogs in the backyard to die because they were @$$holes

I live in a coastal town in NSW Australia & I've been taking my dogs to the beach for 30 years. I have a 3 year old blue staffy named Ra who did much of his growing up on the beach. He loves people & loves the beach so he's the kind of dog that Loba is at the beach 😂 fortunately people don't mind, they think he's cute, haha

I adopted both my dogs from a Family Dogs New Life. Great place. I had my 2nd dog Leo just 2 months when he was tagged by a car. Mild injuries. As he finished up healing, the chip spit in his spine got an infection and was in the ICU for 5 days and a grand total of 10k spent on a my dog when I had him for just 5 mo. All my savings. Do I regret it, not a single day. Never a 2nd thought. A year later he got his back feet caught in something, I only guess barb wire. Another 6K to heal him. The rebuilt savings. Never a 2nd thought. No accidents since. I think I got the escape arts under control. I've had the 6 and 5 years now. They've traveled across a few states and back with me mow and awaiting our next adventure. Blessed be the people that adopt, rescue animals. 💋

Your so right about puppies keeping seniors active. We adopted a puppy and our senior dog turned back into a pup! I really think it extended his life by at least a year. ❤
Hi, just found your channel by accident a few days ago and appreciate so much what you and your team do for dog's.
I grew up with dog's and although I loved them I adored cat's which my family didn't.
It was year's later as I grew up I finally got my beautiful cat at 9 weeks old.
She gave me so much affection and unconditional love and seemed to know I'd come from an abusive relationship...she never left my side in the 15 years we shared.
She grew Big and was a bit Feral letting no one come too close to me .
Sadly she passed away at home on June 20th 2021 and my heart is still broken.
I have now moved to an area of woodlands, streams and rivers ..a dream I'd held for me and my big cat for a long time.
It's so heart breaking she is with me only in an Urn of Ashes.
Not ready to get another cat ...none could replace her but may get a dog or two (little one's) to give me company and enjoy the glorious wooded walks here.
Thank you for videos that show many breeds and highlight their temprements.
I'm getting a good idea of the type suitable for me although if you had some big cat's hanging around I'd be in seventh heaven. 🤗
May have to include another channel of wild cat rescue to my subscriptions ....especially Puma's, Panther's, Tiger's, Leopards....❤

Yes animals are so pure in their spirit and can help immensely in emotional healings.
My only concern and maybe it's because I'm still raw with the pain of losing my beloved cat, is having to go through the same pain with another at some future point.
15 years is a long time especially when an animal is with you literally 24/7.

Loba has always been one of my favourites (not that I have favourites!!😛) but she’s always felt special to me. I love all your dogs but she has a special place on my heart ♥️
Aw bless. Many years ago I had a mixed German Shepherd that we named Nasty that had parvo. We got him (my parents) from the shelter as a pup and few days later he was near death. Our vet was amazing, he was doing house calls every 6h (even middle of the night) for a week to make sure Nasty will be ok. And thank god he was! He grew big and strong and the most gentle soul ever! Yes, his name was Nasty, but he was complete opposite by nature, kiddos rode him like a pony, strangers were showered with kisses, everyone could put their hand in his mouth when he was eating and take it away from him as he always shared. We're blessed to have him in our lives for 14 amazing years until he had a heart attack and past away in my arms 😪 but, he was the best dog ever! Now I'm a kitty mummy and she's nearly 14 years with me since she was 8 weeks old. Thank you Lee for all you do ❤️
Lee you are one amazing, kindhearted and loving human being. I absolutely become overwhelmed with so many wonderful emotions every time I watch one of your videos. We all can watch, listen and learn from you. Matilda is such a little cutie patootie and I swear her coordination and her mobility are improving. She’s got to be one of the most living happy go lucky pup I’ve ever seen. Thank you Lee for giving one of God’s creatures a loving home.

We lost our beloved Jamz a year ago this past April to cancer of her liver. It was bring her home and load her up on meds, of euthanize right then, knowing she was very I’ll, and it was by far the HARDEST thing I’ve had to do. We miss her immensely every day, she was a rescue from Alabama, that my friend Terri had found left in a house with two other dogs, and she had 13 puppies that all perished because the asses that left these dogs left no food or water for them. I had her for 13 years, and she was such a good girl. I applaud you for doing what you do, saving these dogs lives, you are a hero!!

I adopted Matilda from an amazing rescue after a vet tech found her in the street. She she was skin and bones and had parvo. The sweet girl that found her spent nights with her at the vet clinic to watch over her until they knew she was going to be okay. I’m so grateful they found her and took care of her. She is my sweet angel baby girl. I also noticed something watching your videos. I’ve never known anybody like me that kisses their dogs in the face all the time and hugs them constantly. People sometimes look at me like I’m crazy for acting that way towards my dogs. The way I see it is Matilda went through God only knows what kind of misery and trauma before she was rescued so I show her all the time that she is loved and she is safe!! Love what you do!! Keep fighting the good fight for these precious babies!❤❤

I have 2 senior dogs. Chocolate is 10 and a chihuahua. He was very badly abused his whole life until he got to a shelter, then I got him. He’d been kept with a pack of chihuahuas in an apartment, never going outside. He didn’t know how to be a dog. Then I got Stella. She’s 12 and a mix of not sure! She’s taught Chocolate how to be a dog! Stella’s had her share of abuse. She was found in a park, the person kept her as she had no identification. They had children and when the kids could walk, they tortured her. They gave her to a shelter, thank God and that’s where I found her. It took her about 6 months to because a happy dog. Now, after a year, she and Chocolate are doing just fine!

She is so beautiful. I had a husky called Maddie. She lived up to 14 years when she passed. I miss her every day. And you right they are great leaders. And they do need alot of space. Because they are so energetic. She is beautiful. Glad she is doing well ❤️

My Samantha was advertised as a wolf-dog. And after I got her, she used to jump my 4’ fence, be gone for a cpl hrs, thn come back Hm over the fence, wanting in! I was blessed to have her on my life for 15.5 yrs and selfishly I wanted more! But I couldn’t let her suffer….sucks being an adult, ya know! My husb and I cried like babies. God Bless Loba!🙏🏻❤️
Oh my goodness she is precious. You are spot on with the wolf mix dogs, high energy, leader of the pack and tendency to roam if not on a leach when away from home. I had one that was half Russian Tundra wolf, my husband fell in love with her as a puppy and brought her home to our little pack. She was 10 weeks old. From the get go she was bossing our boxer around !! What a spit fire our Atoka was !!
