I"m glad they left is vocals on the tracks this one included. I wish they would have made a better video. This jam is easily a timely 80s pop classic.
I remember watching this performance live. I was like 7 and so heartbroken that my boyfriend, BB, left the group. But when they did this performance, I knew they wouldn't miss a beat without him. This performance was like their middle finger to my boyfriend, Bobby. Lol.

True, but the last official recording Bobby did with the group was the 1985 Christmas album. They recorded the album in October of 1985.

Pre-Jonny Gill, this is my favorite NE jam besides Candy Girl. Underrated song but they had so many hits it is understandable how this timely tune can get overshadowed. God bless them dudes even Bobby Brown. Shout out to DevoE b/c he was definitely a battery pack to the group.

💖Ralph as NE frontman is little of David Ruffin, Eddie Kendricks, Paul Williams rolled into one.. original Temptation, classic five lineup on Motown label, “Hitsville USA” Detrioit, Michigan.. similar to them all, has abundance of talent, fantastic stage showmanship presence while engaging with the audience crowd, he’s always gets right back in-sync with NE tight choreographed dance steps effortlessly… his charisma… vocals on point, delivering what he singing in believable fashion, plus he’s very easy on the eye, Lol
Rickey Bell “Slick” is you Paul Williams, and yes Johnny Gill is your R&B with real gospel edge Dennis Edwards, who would be the replacement, after David Ruffin ouster from Temp’s original lineup in 1968..sadly letting industry fame get out of control... his 🎼 vocals were ridiculously unique, much like NE’s Ralph Tresvant…on the bright side both the Temptations and New Edition, R&B, Soul groups are now rightfully 🎼LEGENDS🎉 🖤💜💗
