Mere 3 doubts hai plz jisko pata hai reply dedena 1) Gsoc kitni baar de skte hai? 2) if i fail in first attempt to kya next year dobara attempt kar sakta hu ? 3) if i get selected in gsoc (say in 2nd year) and worked for that company To kya 3rd year me firse gsoc ke liye apply kar skta hu?
It depends on your interest. First decide which orgs you want to contribute then you will find mentors who are actively maintaining projects in those orgs
It's also open to beginners in open source. Their website says "As a reminder, GSoC 2024 is open to students and to beginners in open source software development that are over the age of 18 at time of registration."
