What a GREAT find !! Impala SS's, Camaros, Roadrunner, Challengers, Galaxie, Coronet R/T s ! Hot Rod Heaven !!! In reading the comments some ppl are thinking they were stolen ..... I don't think so. In the late 70's, the 80s, and 90s a lot of these muscle cars could be had for $500-800, and that's if they were in good shape and running ! If they had been wrecked or a parts car ppl would often give them away just to get them out of the yard or 50 bucks could buy them. I remember 55 Chevy 2 door post 327 4 speed cars for $600, 68-69 Camaros and Firebirds for $400 and early Mustangs for the same !! This place was likely owned by a hobbyist who drove some and pulled motors and transmissions out of the rest of them. Likely his life's passion and hobby until he passed away, glad that someone else who sees their worth is getting them !!!!
Yup. A friend of mine had a 69 Superbee he picked up for 700 bucks Canadian. Another a 70 GTX 440 6pack for a $1000 ! And I had a 66 Chevelle SS I grabbed for $600. All around 1980. This is a little odd though in how they're scattered so randomly in the trees. I sure hope they could all be saved. An amazing find. Especially nowadays.
@@calivwbus Only a person newly into cars would think they were stolen. I did not as I have a good number of vehicles from years of the hobbyist interest. I remember 2 door 55's being cut up for salvage. I had a dentside F-100 I just sold for $17,9 that I paid $500 for in '99... What once was regarded as cheap or junk, is now treasure !!!
@@calivwbus I picked up my 63 westy for 250 bucks drove daily for 30 yrs just sold it for 10 g it was needing alot of body work but very solid and ran strong I think I under sold it but I invested in property
Wow somebody needs to start a show called Swamp Yard Cars with all those Chargers, Challengers and Coronet R/T's🤯I would definitely like to hear the story of why all those great muscle cars ended up in the swamp forest 😳 Absolutely astonishing collection left to rot...
Glad this is being documented, we'll never see places like this from now on, in 25 years do you think anyone is going to give a crap about woods filled with pruises, camrys, taureses and the assorted bland appliances we drive today. ok maybe we'll see woods filled with wrecked mustangs, as we know too many people can't handle them, even the v6 ones.
This is so perfect. I'm so extreamly happy so see these beautys being save. Its a massiv shame that so many of these just rot away in some forrest. How are so many fine cars just abandoned
I was very excited to watch this video well edited I see that's a lot of work nice mopars being saved but that GTO needs to be handled as well great job guys.
Wow ! So this is what " hot rod heaven" looks like. Some really nice gems in them woods. It's a shame they weren't protected a little better. But, still a cool video. Thanks for sharing.
At 1:16 that green car looks like a European Ford Capri Mk 1,in America sold under the Mercury brand, with the 3.0 litre Essex V6 engine. They are sought after in Britain and Europe, because they were primarily produced for export to the US.It had 4 headlights instead of 2 on the standard European version. If it's not too far gone consider loading it up too.Ones in good to mint condition bring around €40.000,that's around US$ 47.500. Just saying.
There’s plenty of them in New Zealand that you would get for very little, particularly given that most currency’s are very strong against the NZ$. Even better, they were sold n Sth Africa as a ‘Perana’ with factory V8
Thinks he lost his secret hoard to some one else, the neighbors are always first to pilfer from them, they always know when some one passes away,(don't know this is the case) just saying. Good thing you saved them hope you got a good deal, And the old owner is happy to see them go to good place.
Awesome fine for you guys congratulations! I mean I know there are some really really bad ones there my first car was a 62 Impala and I love that car going in high school and my next car was my second favorite car that was a 65 fury with the VIP package and I thought I might have seen one there. Are you planning on listing an inventory of everything? I have a video just going and going and going I see the little skid steer probably going to pick something else up any chance of letting me know how to get in touch with you my phone is the best way for me to communicate! God has blessed you dearly
Legend has it a crazy old man had a really fast 70 Dodge RT and would race for pink slips back in the 70's and 80's somewhere in that area . Could this be him? Are the stories true? 🤔
That white Camaro could absolutely be built for 24 hours of Lemons, putting in something like a cheap 6 cylinder that's fairly modern or going with junkyard v8's & doing rev limiter & going through the heads & top end, valves, lifters etc... too get more longevity out of them. Like a LZ9 V6 240 hp & torque around the same i believe. Rollcage, radiator, cheap oil cooler & big brake kit + perhaps some suspension bits + the safety gear ofc.
I was wandering how you found out about this place & what year is that blue Chevy C-10 truck that you pulled out. Also! What year is the white Chevy Impala at the 12:44 mark in this video?
There is seriously a lot of cool Mopars there…they all need rescuing! Then AMD’s phone line will be just about be burnt out by the time your done ordering new sheet metal…but worth it! This just isn’t really a thing much in Australia, certainly not on this scale…
keep the Chrysler boats for the engines. mopars ,fox bodies, cougar ramcharger 62-64 Impalas camaros, gto damn I`d take a bunch ,bunch can`t afford any of them.

They definitely were not stolen. These two brothers raced heavily for years and have had all these cars for thirty plus years.
