Okay, new Renegade fact. If you need a dog whistle but don’t have one on hand, just pull up this video and Nate would make a good substitute. Lol

Did you know that the "I Like To Move It Move It" song was not originally a part of the script for Madagascar? I have no idea how it ended up coming about but a part of me feels like King Julien's voice actor just started messing around in the recording booth and the movie people were just like "That's gold! We have to put that in!"

The reason the dogs are so interested in that high pitch sound is the same reason why the majority of dogs love squeaky toys: it sounds like something small is dying or in pain. It's a natural instinct for dogs to be interested in that type of sound since they're predators, and whatever was making that sound would most likely be an easy meal.
But it's still adorable when dogs tip their heads. Lol

I learned about raccoon dogs from Zoobooks, forgot about them, and then was reminded of their existence through anime years later. 😂

Logical part of human brain: That bush dog is cute, but i know i should not pet it if i wanna keep my fingers.
    Emotional part: Pet it.
Logical part: Did you not listen to what i was saying just now.
Emotional part: I SAID PET IT!

Ah Nate's recollection of Watership Down reminds me of my own experience of "Oh this looks cute and for a kid"...it went so wrong for my poor stepdad. A local rental place called Moo-Vies (with a cow mascot wearing 3D glasses) had an animated film out on the shelves that had dinos on it. I was at the age of loving dinosaurs and nothing NOTHING about the box front or back hinted at what would happen. My stepdad rented it...first 5-10 minutes in? Dinos are humping and a Steggo saws itself in half on the back of it's mate....blood and all, and the humans looking on try to mimic the position....my stepdad got yelled at so hard by mom and he was confused as all hell. I never remembered the name of the movie but I DO remember that opening couple minutes before the tape was ejected from the VCR and they distracted me with something more my age. I'm pretty sure now, years later that someone put the wrong case behind the box I was looking at or the guy behind the counter picked up the wrong movie due to a similar name or something...

yeah, that exact thing happened to me, it was at a Blockbuster, and i think we saw the exact video.....don't remember much, the title i think was something like...."escape....dinosaur valley" , i do remember it was poorly lit and some of the lines weren't english, stopped immediately, returned tape to box and never finished it

Here’s something he didn’t mention in the video: narwhals can have two tusks. The narwhal has two teeth, both at the front, and one or the other in males will grow into the tusk. However, occasionally a genetic mutation occurs that causes both teeth to become tusks. A similar but even rarer mutation can also cause a female narwhal to grow a tusk; and yes, while it is extremely rare (like we’ve only seen it maybe three times in recorded history rare), it is possible for both mutations to occur and result in a female narwhal with two tusks.

A friend and I would exchange weird animal facts. So, one day I randomly came across the Foosa and I told her about them (now I'm telling you).
Male Foosas' have spikes on their genitals. There are not that many females and when it's mating season they hide in the trees. Because the males mate very aggressively, it enters grape territory -- sometimes more than one will join. To escape this female Foosas hide in the trees (sometimes it does not work and the males follow). Also, because of the spikes on the male's lower region there are times it will get stuck inside the female for hours. The cries you hear in Foosa territories are the females screaming in pain.
