Beautiful Bird , Ian. Soft Tropical Colors ,nothing flashy like the painters were on Acid , easy to see and it's HUGE . That was fun & TY for showcasing an affordable Beast .
Hi Ian … wow !!! That must be so gratifying after all those hours of build .. what a great achievement.. Well done … Looks massive and the sound track is superb… For me this has been one of your series .. from a box of bits to great maiden flight .. Thank you Michael
Good chopper, good build. Yes, it usually takes me about ten flights after maiden to get the fine tuning down to my preferences from manufacture suggestions and specs. All in all very nice Ian. two thumbs up.
Seagulls liked that as well Ian, strange that bobbing, not seen that in your other Helis. You was determined to get that pad, you need a bigger one 😊. Great build and maiden 🫡
Lovely video Ian I love the RS4 and the direct drive I have the small goosky S1 would you say it's easier to fly bigger Heli,s than small ones ? what a pain to have found a faulty flight controller just not good enough for a kit that's over £ 600 in price you say its different from the Align machine in what way ? is it easier to fly ? your videos are always so interesting .
Great message John, I think bigger Helie's when they had flybars were more stable in the hover!! Probably due to their sheer mass, with the advent of flybarless Helie's with the latest Gyro technology, smaller Helie's can feel just as stable!! The difference that people miss when they jump up in size is the fear factor!! When you start flying bigger Helies, they can feel intimidating!! Especially with the noise they make. With the RS4 I found the kit was nice quality and went together well, but there were a few important things missing in the instructions, and of course the faulty GTS controler was shocking!! I'm not sure what I was referring to when I compared the RS4 to the Trex 470lp, I can't remember now, the Trex Helie's I've built have been spot on, I might have been referring to the GTS controler, as I don't like it at all, it feels robotic and artificial compared to other makes I've used. Anyway thanks for watching and commenting 😀👍
great flight, I'm ready to upgrade to a larger heli, I'm thinking maybe a tb40 or goosky rs4. which do you recommend. I'm currently flying a goosky s2 and it is very stable
Brilliant job thanks for tacking us along with ya iam stuck in the rain is bad as 👍 from your brother tezza 😊😊😊😊😊😊
Thank you Tezza, yes the weather has been horrible 😒

Thank you very much Michael!! It is nice to see your build fly successfully 😀👍

Thanks, it's a nice Heli, not sure if I like the flight controller yet!! Time will tell, thanks for watching and commenting 😀👍

Great build and maiden 🫡
Thanks Chris, the bobbing was the Gyro gain a bit to high, I altered it for the second flight and it was much better 😀👍
Well that went rather well Ian congratulations she sounds a beast 👍
Thank you Cliff 😀👍
Well worth all the effort with the build, Ian. It's a wee beastie!!
Thanks Gina 😀👍
Very nice Ian. Congratulations with the maiden🎉. She looks very stable.
Yes she was!! Thanks Adnan 😀👍
Great maiden flight Ian, so good to see her in the air after the long build...jeff
Thank you Jeff 😀👍
You have guts flying off that small pad! I have dropped a skid over an edge before it's not pretty.
Aww no, I gave up on the landing Lol thanks for watching and commenting 😀👍
Successful maiden! 😊 👍🏻🙂
Thanks Randy 😀👍
Ian it is always nice to see something you put that many hours in take to the air! The flight went well man. Nice maiden. Congrats!
Thank you very much Adam 😀👍
Nice video.
Thanks Bert 😀👍

Ian fantastic maiden and second flights. I’m sure you will continue to dial it in and have many more great flights. Jeff in LA USA
Thanks Jeff 😀👍

I have replied to you on your earlier comment, thanks for watching and commenting 😀👍
Very nice Ian do you find it more torque on the throttle stick from the direct drive 😊
Yes it was very powerful Gareth 😀👍
@@IansRCExploits yip that’s what I couldn’t get over there’s some difference in power more responsive
It felt quite strange at first, completely different to my Trex's, I'm not sure if I like the flight controler!! Have to give it some time I guess 🤔
@@IansRCExploits yes you can always put a beast in at a later date if you want to
Did you have any issues with heli drifting while in autolevel?
No I didn't have any drift issues at all 😀👍
