omg so many twists and turns in your story (mainly thanks to the government messing up that grading system lol), but glad it worked out for you in the end x
I applied to 3 med schools and 2 Pharmacy with the same personal statement, I got both of my pharmacy places and interviews from two of the med schools.
That's amazing - well done!! I think it depends what course you apply for as your back up because for example biomed will take the same personal statement as medicine as lots use it as a back up. I think midwifery wouldn't accept the same one because they have limited spaces on their course and it is a competitive course in its own right :)
@@AmberBiffin that’s true, I was gonna make a second personal statement for pharmacy but I took a risk and send it as it was, also my interview for Cardiff is acc next week got any tips? Without giving anything away.
@@iqraahmed3822 congrats!! I thought that the Cardiff interview was quite nice because you got to see the questions for 2 mins before your station started so that you could think about your answers! Make sure you've researched the curriculum for Cardiff as they've changed it in recent years and like to ask about that :) Also think about how people might struggle to access healthcare as that was a topic that came up in my interviews. I've made a video with all my interview tips so please check that out as it should help! Good luck!!
Out of interest what did you get in your UCAT, I just did mine yesterday and didnt go as well as planned :( Liverpools my top choice so still hoping they will be good enough😢
I didn't do to well at all! I got 2410 and band 3. Liverpool don't tend to look at the UCAT too much so fingers crossed you'll be fine! Cardiff & Keele don't focus on the UCAT too much either so it might be worth looking there too xx
Thank you so much!! My predicted grades were A*AAA, on results day I was downgraded by the algorithm to A*ABB and then when I got my CAGs after the rules changed I got A*AAA which was what i needed to get in (my A* was in Welsh Bacc). Hope this helps :) xx
