    Please remember that I am NOT a CNC expert, and I cannot help you troubleshoot your CNC router. Every CNC router, controller, and controller software is different. Your best option is to contact your CNC manufacturer’s Tech Support division, or look for a Support Forum or Support Community through their website. They are the people who know your machine best, while I would only be guessing.

    I am curious - how much time can be saved by shortening the vertical movements of this toolpath. (if it is possible at all....)

      You can go into Material Setup and change the Safe Z (Z1) settings to reduce the height of the retracts, but that's about all.
