You know, I really enjoy that this time everyone gets a unique weapon instead of just doubling up on blasters, shotguns, or Gatling guns. Really makes them feel more diverse and gives you more interesting tactics.

I love it, too! I feel like it also adds a little story depth, like after the events of the first game, Mario and friends got custom weapons outfitted for them so that they’d have an easier time handling them as well as playing to their own natural strengths (like how Luigi’s weapon now strengthens with distance to accentuate his sniper fighting style). Plus it’s canon that the Rabbids made the weapons in the last game and they build things when they’re bored, maybe this is how they repaid Princess Peach for letting them crash at her castle lol

Rabbid Luigi having lines means referencing the RUclipsr by the same name before the character existed but with no space in between.
Midnite was so funnily easy because of Luigi, you should try the Steely Stare build for him more often, it’s funny af. Also letting Rabbid Mario move after attacking is broken. It’s like the previous game but with the insane movement.
If you upgrade rabbid rosalina before starting the fight, you can have her inflict ennui every turn on Midnite, letting her do absolutely nothing
The real funny shit is they removed rabbid Mario’s ability to drag enemies to him,only to make it into a spark that does a better job AND naturally boosts the shit out of weapon damage

@@Lady_of_the_LandAnd the actual Innui ability can affect half the battlefield with good positioning. Combined with the upgrade which increases the number of turns it's in effect for, it's not just Midnite who gets rendered helpless.
Midnite's easy if you give Rabbid Rosa the right skills, Ennui Dash + Wakeup Slap is such a good damager, I wonder what the HIGHEST total damage is in the game.
I don't know why but the pictures of Rabbid Rosalina with orion make me smile.
After reading/listening to beepo about Orion's journey... I can proudly say that they are found family. I mean, the Chad Orion took Rabbib Rosalina in after she escaped Cursa, helped her the best he could, and treated her nicely.
I hadn't heard a lot of dialogue from Rabbid Luigi before now, his voice is so adorable!

For some reason I used Mario, Luigi and Edge through the whole world and only using rabbit Luigi once. And then of course Rabbit Rosalina at the end, who is definitely one, maybe even my favourite character, love her character and how she is in battle. Also world 2 is crazy cool (no pun intended) I enjoyed the sonic power thing and that final boss was so good, surprised I did it on my first turn, guess it wasn’t nearly as hard as I thought it was gonna be.
Rabbid Rosalina is indeed a great character, both in terms of personality and combat. If you dump all her Skill Prisms into unlocking her top-tier skills (Ennui Dash, Wakeup Slap, etc.) you can use her to cheese the Midnite fight and keep Midnite in Stasis for pretty much the entire battle.
I have switched over to Mario, Luigi, and Edge and so far, they are OP. Overwatch combined with Steely Stare from afar with Edge splash dashing and Mario mopping up with glide stomps and air shots is so satisfying.
I'm working on world 3 (no spoilers)
Currently Edge with Dash Sparks and her 4 or 5 dashes per turn are near godly.
I barely use her Stormedge
Luigi I give him Fire Shot and Meteors and his double steely stare is ungodly
I'm using Mario and only swapping when the levels force you to
His multi stomps (takes a while to unlock) combined with the long glide and double hero sight are just amazing

This is the first footage I’ve watched of this game. Hearing fully voice acted English speaking Rabbids hit me like a car
I found something out while playing that might be a tip. When having partial cover and being attacked if the character being attacked (hero) makes a sound/voice line before the attack they will take damage but if they stay quiet they won't get hurt.
I noticed that pretty early on. It's a nice attention to detail.
By the way choc, the Ethering spark is easily the most overpowered spark in the game. It basically makes you invincible for a turn and if you level it up enough it lasts for 2 turns
I put that on Luigi, and he could solo quite effectively when fully upgraded (Ghost Shot Steely Stare is great, and being able to shoot from very far away makes some fights a joke)
OP by itself, but glittering has way more synergy to demolish fights.
I’m sure choc has learned but forgot the important rules, remember skill trees exist and spend every orb possible and leveling up sparks also, always equip sparks and always heal or use characters that are plan B material near full HP in battle for the beginning
Also hopefully you were able to laugh at the winning animations that some of the rabbits did cause they’re just funny

Rabbis Luigi’s appearance reminds me of Live Action Movie Luigi. And Rabbid Mario’s VA reminds me of Lou Albano/Super Show/Cartoon Mario. Idk what peach reminds me of, and I don’t want to.
Jokes aside, the sequel had me coming back for more, and I can’t wait for the DLC! The Rayman DLC is my favorite. Good job Choc!
at 7:20 you could've made the battle much easier if you had luigi just go through the pipe, their hero sight won't go off if you're moving behind cover
Choc if you think Rabbid Mario is broken rn, you should unlock the ability where he gets to attack, and still move after, it's so useful
Just gonna say this for Choc to decipher: The next enemy type LOVES to play hide and seek, that is if you were allowed to kill those you found...
Every time you unlock a new character go immediately to their skill before the battle you have to use them in because there’s going to be a lot you can already upgrade
I’m not going to spoil or anything but an idea I had was what if you put the invis spark on Luigi so he can move around and snipe from a long distance without getting interrupted. Loving the series so far and I hope you enjoy it too.
Hey choc did you know that I’m in the memories they tell us what each enemy is a fusion of? For example Wildclaws are Rabbid DNA fused with a feline ( and it means any feline )
Giving you a tip: damaging the portal also damages some of the enemies that come out of it.
The ghost bullet upgrade is for Luigi's special ability, steely stare. (oh wait nvm you found that out in the video lol) Also there's weapon and mobility upgrades for rabbid mario that make him super broken. He can unleash 5 punches and move after to retreat to a safe position. He's one of the best fighters if you upgrade that.
I just think it's funny how they keep making waifu rabbids
IKR...and the best part is that one of the bosses is basically the Pirabbid Plant from Kingdom Battle except if he got his hands on the Super Crown.
Rabbid Mario is indeed broken 2 of his skill are rly good like the 5 hit combo and his hit and run perk where he can just move after using his weapon. Also I think the best 2 spack for him(so far) is glitter (his old agro skill) + reflect since you can just combo it whit his signature skill for more dommage

Hey Choc, just a tip, if you want Rabbid Luigi to do more damage, 1. Upgrade his weapon damage in skill tree and 2. You can do extra damage with a better chance of critical but you have to use weaken first!
Headcanon: Rabbid Rosalina was create from the fusion of a rabbid and a strand of Rosalina's hair. So the two have less of a counterpart relationship and more of a parent and child relationship.
Well the game itself confirms she was created from the same basement incident that occurred back in kingdom battle (from the memories in palette prime or terra flora). Which gives a question on what the fuck where and what she was doing during the events of kingdom battle

You can take no damage and basically have infinite health by going to settings -> gameplay. If your difficulty changes to custom, that means you can change any setting, the difficulty you previously set will be the same. The difficulty modes are recommended settings for the difficulty you picked, you can turn it off in the hub world but not in battle.
I've killed them with the funny number too many times... So uh yeah I am inevitable literally because I can't take damage. Mwahahahahahahaha.

Dude I cheesed the living hell out of the Midnite fight
Because I figured out you get 15 free spirit orbs before the fight, if you upgrade rabbid Rosalina to get the dash attack that causes stasis, you could pick off the enemies with your other units (I had Luigi Edge and Rabbid peach for example) and have rabbid Rosalina keep dashing into Midnite until you were all set up and could kill her in one turn and she basically never got to attack you
I also found out that you could exploit the new character fights like that. Really helpful.

Don't get me wrong. I like the Rabbids' voices. But knowing it's only BeepO and Jeanie who got a full voice actor and no one else, it makes the game kind of a rushed product a.k.a they don't have enough time to voice acted ALL the dialogs (I'm not talking about the gameplay/the quests n side quests of the game. Just the voice acting)
I think it'll be better if BeepO and Jeanie only voiced SOME of the dialogs, like the other rabbids. Because going from 'full voice act' to 'no voice act' is a bit jarring. Like, I literally was confused why the Spark didn't speak after BeepO was done talking when I first saw this game preview 😅
