Never in my life would I think a Mario and Rabbids crossover would work. And somehow, it absolutely did! We even got a donkey Kong DLC plus the fact that we are getting a sequel within a few months with new characters, boss fights, and pretty sure we are getting at least 2 new dlc packs.

I personally enjoy everything about it other than the fact that some of the dlc games I cannot play because they’re specifically made for co-op. And then there’s the fact that you cannot choose whatever team you like as some characters cannot go together and you have to play with mario. I know that seems like a lot but it’s not. The game is amazingly done and some people may not like turn based games but it was fun for me

The two Luigi’s are just godly when it comes to ruining enemies day… Rabbid Luigi by his absurd status effect infliction rate and normal Luigi with his damage and movement boost

Man this game’s got a great final world, from getting Yoshi halfway through, to the glorious duo of Bwario and Bwaluigi, and ending with a hype as hell Bowser fight, what an unexpectedly great game

There are also 10 challenges per worls + 4 "impossible"ones, but before that go back to each world and unlock the secret chapter to train for the impossible challenges
Yeah I'm really hoping choc does the ultimate challenges and the individual challenges for each world because they are brutal.
Man, got stuck on a fight in the ghost world for a year, goes to show how difficult this game can get
If it makes you feel better, I got stuck in the first world and didn't play the game for a year. Came back to it and it's truly a masterpiece

The Lava Queen was particulary annoying
And Megadragon Bowser is weird
In all honesty, everyone has at least one thing that can break the game into dust, it is figuring out how you wanna do so that's important.
Luigi just has the benefit of speeding up most escort missions

with Rabbid Mario and Luigi as my companions, my team is basically unstoppable.
Mario and Luigi being the hype Hero Sight duo, while Rabbid Mario just takes on groups of enemies.

Totally agree. Rabbid Luigi was way more insane than I gave him credit for, his 160 damage Vamp Dash made him incredibly survivable and helped the damage dealers stay healthy without needing to spend time grouping them for a heal. Also Yoshi guarenteeing crits was as powerful as I expected
I love the date references on the washing machine, being the founding dates of Nintendo and 2 of Ubisoft's divisions.
I always forget how good this game was because I never expected it. The Bwario Bros. kicked my ass a couple of times, definitely remember that. Good job, Choc!
Oh yeah, and those 4 super hard extra challenges will make you pull Mario’s mustache hairs out.

Great video! That was quite an intense finale! Looking forward to seeing the Donkey Kong DLC! I might actually pick up _Sparks of Hope_ now that I've seen this series in action! I don't particularly like the Rabbids, but I'm willing to look past that if the game is solid!
Also not a fan of the Rabbids but this game was so much fun. It’s also ALWAYS on sale for $10.

This game is one of the best games I've never finished.
You just get burnt out if you fail a battle one too many times.

16:16 need I remind you all this is a game that mixes Mario, with rabbits. The type of game for people who find toilets, fart jokes, and basically any sort of gross or disgusting humor genuinely funny.
And yet they give us an amazing final boss you’d expect to find in like Mario Galaxy 3

To answer your question at 24:00, yes, the washing machine is indeed a time machine, and was established as such back when it was introduced in Raving Rabbids Travel in Time.
This series is so underrated; visually beautiful, too. It deserves far more appreciation and love, and is just a whole lot of damn fun - would recommend to everyone.

@@LimeDida I mean since we've yet to see actual Rosalina (as far as I know), only Rabbid Rosalina, and this game has a CLEAR Galaxy emphasis, AND Bowser is off the table for final boss, now that I'm thinking about it you're probably right.

No lie, I would LOVE a Kaizo Hack of this game, would be an amazing difficulty choice for veteran/professional players. Also, coming off of the heels of when Fin and Side-Eye are defeated... Bwario and Bwaluigi COULD be either the OGs or a WANTED poster of the crooks fused with Rabbids, whilst Lava Queen's just Rabbid fused with a Peach Poster, just a speculation though.
I remember the 6:14 battle cause I used Luigi to do it in 2 turns

Finally. Hard Mario game
At one point in my playthrough, I couldn't actually beat megadragonbowser. I kept playing, over and over, and I just couldn't beat it. I quit the game and didn't play for a month, and then when I came back I finally beat him. This game is amazing, and also stupid hard
in the kobby, you can find the ultimate challenges and they no chill at all, there are other challenges that appear when you revisit worlds
So excited for the DLC now!!! Fire content aswell 🔥🔥

This was such a good final world very challenging but very satisfying to beat. Also the final boss dragon for bowser is amazing. Once I finished this game I really wanted to get the DK dlc already. And once I beat that I said to myself “man I’d love it if they made a sequel” and we’ll yeah they have and it’s coming in about 2 months. Looking forward to it. 💫
To be honest I really think you should do the side content because some of it is really challenging. (And I want more rabbids videos)

I attempted a Nuzlocke of the game (With the handicap of some 1-up mushrooms) and would had not beaten it if Yoshi hadn't inked away the Rest of MDB's HP.

I think I may have said this on a previous video, but this is not the type of game I'd normally be interested in. But watching Choc play has made it so interesting and hilarious. I think I could really enjoy it 😂👍

The first time I faced MegaDragonBowser was an absolute madness. I used Rabbid Peach for the heals, Mario just cuz he was there, and Yoshi for the pain. After a whole load of minutes, on the final phase, I only had Yoshi alive, with a smidge of health because I was bad at skill tree, and if Yoshi hadn't had his Super Chance on, I would've took 2 attempts on MegaDragonBowser. Dunno if I should attempt the DK DLC, but my choices leans towards yes.

Yeah, he’s pretty broken with maxed Steely Stare.
And with maxed movement and team jump, he absolutely *schmooves*
Luigi is an absolute monster from far away. He constantly hits enemies with high damage with his Steely Stare.
So I guess originally, their quest was much more difficult, as they didn't have any weapons. And after that first one, an infinite time loop was created.
This has been a wild ride and I'm here for it

Adding some info on the Yoshis. There's... not much to add to be honest. Rumblebang kinda sucks as a primary weapon; it has the potential to be the highest damaging weapon in the entire game, but the crit chance is low (which means status effects proc rarely with them), and it also has the potential to do very low damage if the RNG doesn't smile on you.
For Rabbid Yoshi, he runs, he dashes, can dash into enemies up to five times which is fine. He has the Barrier you usually see on the enemy Hoppers when fully upgraded which is nice. His other ability is the opposite of Rabbid Mario's which is less useful (though it can still be used to get enemies away from cover). His subweapon is the Grenaduck which is alright. His elemental procs are Push and Stone, so basically always go for Stone; it's one of his few redeeming factors. Probably might be the game's worst character.
For Yoshi, his jump is his signature Ground Pound, which functions very much like the Valkyries in that it's an AoE attack centered on Yoshi. Kind of the opposite of Peach's Healing Jump in a way; Yoshi very much would not like to jump in the middle of his allies. His Egg Beater (AKA his Overwatch-type move in the same vein as Mario, Luigi, and Peach's Overwatch-type moves) is decent; he's not going to catch enemies in his radius like Peach will, so it's automatically better than hers by default. His other ability gives him and other allies in range a buff that makes them always proc their elemental effect (i.e. always crit) which is actually a solidly good ability which synergizes with his primary weapon. His subweapon is the rocket launcher which is better than Rabbid Yoshi's Grenade in my opinion and gives Yoshi some long-range sniping capabilities. And while he does not have Stone as one of his accessible elements, he does have Ink to prevent foes from attacking you with weapons (Freeze is kind of the worst of the purely status debuffing elements). Yoshi's main problem is that he's generally outclassed by a fair amount of the other characters.
