Luigi has become my favorite character to use because not only is his HP better in this game, but his weapon does more damage the farther away his target is and it can reach FAR.
The quality in this game is INCREDIBLE. Voice acting, animation, music, etc. all make it really good. Definitely will have to get this game soon enough.
Don’t sleep on Luigi- he’s a force to be reckoned with at range. His capstone skill for Steely Stare ignores cover, basically making movement for enemies a death sentence. Rabbid Luigi is good too- his weapon ricochets to hit multiple targets and can be useful for getting foes behind cover. Hit the one on the end and watch it bounce to all his friends. Pair with splash to bounce them out of cover!
Having finished the game, I'd say that my favourite character to use is now Rabbid Mario. One of his high-level skills allows him to move after attacking, he hits for a lot of damage, and you can find a Spark that acts like his old attract skill. So I usually move him out into the open, lure in as many enemies as I can, and then after he's done walloping them I move him back into cover. Regular Mario is also amazing once you level him up, because of his Hero Sight. You can get the cooldown to the point where he'll have it every turn, and if you kill an enemy with it, he can gain one extra charge. You position things right in a horde battle, and he can tear through so many by himself.
(Almost because rabbid Luigi) Everyone here with hyper futuristic guns and all and then rabbid Mario here just beating the crap out of you with still more damage output than everyone else. What a giga chad, he’s also quite funny in almost every scene he is

i’ve literally had this game for like 8 hours and yet peach, luigi and edge have already plowed through 25% of the game because it’s just so addictively amazing
I really think the more free style movement is a great improvement over the first game. These videos really make me want to find the time and play this ASAP.
I actually hate it. It makes the game way harder to plan you moves. In kingdom battle you could plan a whole sequence of actions with dashing and team jumping. In this one, you kinda have to think in your head. I think they were so focused on making this game a sequel instead of an extention of the first one that they changed way too many things for me to wrap my head around. Even the little things like controls. When it used to be L and R to swap heroes, it's niw up and down on the d-pad like, what? It trips me up every time. The battles are also really slowly paced and boring imo. This hurts to say because the first game is my favorite game on switch and probably in my top five games of all time. It's also missing alot of the charm the first game had. Boring enemies with no personality.
Edge went down for me, too, but I beat the Wildclaw anyways thanks to Luigi's insane range. I'd fire on it, with Rabbid Peach, pulling it towards the center, but then Luigi would catch him with his Steely Stare shot and pull it back to the stairs. On the Wildclaw's turn, it was still closer to Rabbid Peach, so it went back towards her - rinse and repeat. Back and forth. Luigi also provided the excellent utility of one-shotting distant Darkmess Portals.
I'm so glad this game came out with like no glitches. The only problem I've had are frame drops, and that's pretty rare. I feel like if it came out glitchy, people would have not bought it as much and thought it was just a cash grab. Lucky this game is freakin awesome!!!
tips for the heros Mario: Basically an all-rounder, he can be anywhere Luigi: Place him very far away from enemies because his weapon does more damage when he’s farther away from them. Peach: Does area of effect damage, so she’s good for taking out multiple enemies. Also, she is the best protector. Rabbid Mario: He’s not good in later battles where the enemies are distanced from the heroes, but he’s decent with counter blow Rabbid Luigi: Great for hitting multiple enemies at once, but doesn’t do much damage Rabbid Peach: Best healer, insane weapon range, so keep her on the team most of the time Edge: Like R Luigi, good for hitting multiple enemies, but overall a good attacker
Fun fact about The Giant Wildclaw....luigi kicks his ass quite thoroughly because luigi is a sniper, and can hit the Giant Wildclaw from across the map which deals extra damage....because Luigi is a sniper!
Imo the two best characters in the game, rabbid Mario can just come in deal insane damage and run away thanks to its skill in the skill tree and even if he can’t run away far enough or without protections, he still got a massive hp stat Luigi is great for the same reasons he was in the first game, insane range + steely stare but combine those with elementary sparks to hit harder (especially on the enemy’s weaknesses) and ghost bullet which somehow makes steely stare more busted and you got yourself ans elite sniper

So then, what's everyone's Team Combo? Here are mine: Mario: How could you not, I like how you CAN change Mario Out but I feel he's the perfect pick for the Team Luigi: He's a bloody beast, his Bow is so strong when using it at the furthest away you can get it. Plus critical damage makes it an amazing weapon Rabbid Peach: She's my Healer, also I like her voice and her voice lines!
First of all, edge is her own damn person, not a rabbid anyone. Second, starburst buffed luigi annihlates wildclaw if you use steely stare and then shoot the dude normally. He runs towards the weeg, gets shot again and freaking dies
I just beat beacon beach and I want this game to never end (also I love the main menu) Also did you know Goombas without arms can swim but Koopa Troopas with them can't
I finally got to play this game and let me say, avoiding everything about this game has made my reactions to the game fantastic! I can’t believe I haven’t been doing this with every game that I play!
Just picked this up today and holy shit I love the direction everything has gone. Edge is a great original character, she's one of my favourites alongside Rabbid Mario yet again. My standard team is Edge, R. Mario, and Peach with Luigi sidelining when I want to snipe a map.
This game is so good. I spent my first 8-10 hours of playtime exploring and completing stuff on beacon beach. I think i was at 9.38 before moving to pristine peaks. I love the characters and gameplay. Though ive had a few glitches, such as enemies standing still after me passing the turn to them. Witch let the game to softlock me. Luckily it only happened to me once. And eccept that, my experience thus far have been amazing.
Pro tip: if you are using Rabbid Luigi, a pow block can increase the distance of which you can attack. Just throw the block, quickly pull out his weapon, target the block, and boom, you have a longer attack range!
Currently testing stuff out in my own playthrough. I'll let you know if it's possible to beat the game on demanding without using items or buying full health. Wish me luck!
I was thinking of trying that for myself after my first 100% playthrough, but with an added challenge of permadeath, no sparks and possibly no skill tree upgrades whatsoever, turning the same innocent and fun game with the voice line “Speed Donuts!” into the equivalent of an ultra hardcore nuzlocke in Pokémon. I wish you the absolute best with this challenge and interested to see how it goes, and I hope you enjoy the game, it’s absolutely fantastic so far! Good luck and have fun!
What about no abilities (e.g hero sight and steely stare) except for rabbid peach’s heal (the only way to heal in the challenge), no overlevelling, and you must engage with every overworld enemy and challenge you find too?
@@prosylan6368 making sure you don’t pass each world’s boss and mid bosses level. although, since I believe every midboss and boss are level 10 and 15 respectively, not over-levelling would essentially require avoiding every optional fight, so just don’t grind or grind a very little amount to keep the challenge fair and to ensure you don’t steamroll everything I guess. It’s all optional though.
I kinda feel bad for the team here: 15:43. When first Chocto said that he's a professional M&R player in the 2nd or 3rd battle and said now that he won't kill Edge again but like 30 seconds later in video she died and also lost the battle after 2 minutes in video. I am a professional M&R player because, I don't lose my team that easily. My tip is: 1. Check the Tacticam before you start a battle and sometimes in battle for movement at enemies and allies and their range of their abilites and enemies too. 2. Manage your skill tree and choose those that is great with the battlefield for example "The Reach Areas" you choose the movement skills and those characters that can move the longest so you may beat it in one turn. 3. Take it slow and use your brain in some hard cases. For example the Giant Wildclaw boss, use Edge to attack him he goes to Edge position then use Mario's hero sight to bring him closer to Mario instead. Because, Mario has a longer reach with his Hero sight so you can be a bit farther then with Edge. 4. I forgot to mention that please stand behind cover and not out in the opening. also put your team at places where for example Edge can hit multiple enemies or Luigi far away from his targets because the longer he's from his targets the more attack power he have. Also put Sparks that goes well with the enemies, also your characters abilites and the position of your character between your enemy. For example the fire spark is good with does fire rabbids. Because the one who has the Fire spark runs not away from their position and take damage. So that was some of my tips, I can go farther than that. But, so you know Choctopus. I don't wanna be a bad person or a mean one to you. I am sorry for making you sad or anything. I just want you to be a better player at this. I love you and all. You're a real funny person. Please keep doing this sort of videos and don't stop. You're right now one of my favourites youtubers of all time.
Having made it through the first two worlds already, qnd just starting the third myself- I love this game just like the first one. Course, the differences were weird at first. I was shocked when Beep-O had VOICE LINES. But it's a great ride so far. Luigi is by far my favorite character rn, the Bow he uses can get broken. Just use an enemy weakness spark and have another on your team with that first spark (the one that's ability is damage up for a turn) and then just. Let a single target DIE. And 100%, if you want to have Luigi on you team, get the guaranteed crit at a higher elevation upgrade. It really helps.
Hey choc, do side quests in the worlds because you get a world coin when you complete one (there’s different ones for each world, kinda like purple coins from super Mario odyssey) and when you get enough, you can buy a key from salesbot which let’s you access a secret area in the world where you can get a spark! The one in the first world gives you a spark that moves enemies away from you. :) Edit: also, some side quests grant sparks as well by the way. Edit 2: also also, save up orbs for edge because an upgrade for her that costs 4 orbs double the blade’s size when you through it so you can hit more enemies!
Tip: Luigi does more damage the farther he is away from the enemy. Him combined with the fire spirit can not only cause major damage, but it could also take out a bunch of weaker enimies (goombas)if they run into eachother while on fire.
SPOILER WARNING!!! Edge is actually even cooler Cloud that came from rabbid land (for some reason). It's revealed at the end of the game. Trust me dawg.

Mario: How could you not, I like how you CAN change Mario Out but I feel he's the perfect pick for the Team
Luigi: He's a bloody beast, his Bow is so strong when using it at the furthest away you can get it. Plus critical damage makes it an amazing weapon
Rabbid Peach: She's my Healer, also I like her voice and her voice lines!
I don't know how far you've played I like mario luigi and edge
@@prosylan6368 I was quite far into the game at that point, changed up my team now. Got Peach, Rabbid Mario and Rabbid Rosalina
Remember in the overworld you can press down on the d pad to pay coins for a full team heal.
First of all, edge is her own damn person, not a rabbid anyone. Second, starburst buffed luigi annihlates wildclaw if you use steely stare and then shoot the dude normally. He runs towards the weeg, gets shot again and freaking dies
*"Bingo Bango Bongo Baby!"*
Aah rip mario and luigi, incredible games!
Ill miss them too, hope they'll try to put some games on switch
Salesbot has total Spamton vibes
I just beat beacon beach and I want this game to never end (also I love the main menu)
Also did you know Goombas without arms can swim but Koopa Troopas with them can't
funny, given Koopa Troopas in the rpgs are usually found in areas near water
The thumbnail is what my microwave sees at 3 am
You're almost at 1 mil subscribers good job really hope to see you getting to 1 million subscribers
The spark in the bag is the same colour as the Luma that Rosalina gave Mario back in Galaxy one
This has lore implications
I finally got to play this game and let me say, avoiding everything about this game has made my reactions to the game fantastic! I can’t believe I haven’t been doing this with every game that I play!
Well I tried that and that didn't work out so well due to people getting access to it early and posting spoiler thumbnails on RUclips
@@prosylan6368 I am truly sorry for your loss.
@@crinklyonion1410 yeah it's annoying

Everyone: has a gun. Rabbis Mario: Imma punch this until it gets fixed.
Just picked this up today and holy shit I love the direction everything has gone. Edge is a great original character, she's one of my favourites alongside Rabbid Mario yet again. My standard team is Edge, R. Mario, and Peach with Luigi sidelining when I want to snipe a map.
That stingray thing looks like a whole kingdom hearts creature
I love how beepo is British
R.I.P. the Mario and Luigi series.
I loved the rabbits BWAH’s, but there voice acting is kinda funny
This game is so good. I spent my first 8-10 hours of playtime exploring and completing stuff on beacon beach. I think i was at 9.38 before moving to pristine peaks. I love the characters and gameplay. Though ive had a few glitches, such as enemies standing still after me passing the turn to them. Witch let the game to softlock me. Luckily it only happened to me once. And eccept that, my experience thus far have been amazing.
Some enemies are coding to do nothing under certain circumstances.
Peach sounded a lot more like Mickey Mouse haha. Great vid good luck to 1 mil!
Pro tip: if you are using Rabbid Luigi, a pow block can increase the distance of which you can attack. Just throw the block, quickly pull out his weapon, target the block, and boom, you have a longer attack range!
That is awesome.
>Nothing galaxy shattering
>A deformed infant crashes into fat Italian man
Currently testing stuff out in my own playthrough.
@@moromaniac holy moly, you challenge addiction has gone too far
What about no abilities (e.g hero sight and steely stare) except for rabbid peach’s heal (the only way to heal in the challenge), no overlevelling, and you must engage with every overworld enemy and challenge you find too?
@@moromaniac how are you supposed go not overlevel if you fight every overworld enemy
My tip is:
Beep-O became british
So this is where Dark Matter got to.
"They call it Cursa, because they say the f word a lot."
"Boo!"
That caught me off guard! 😆
Beep O’s voice acting caught me so off guard, I expected them to sound like Monita from Nintendo Land
Amazing Editing keep up the good work!😀
I really wanna see a speedrun of this game. It would be so satisfying to watch
Edit: also, some side quests grant sparks as well by the way.
Edit 2: also also, save up orbs for edge because an upgrade for her that costs 4 orbs double the blade’s size when you through it so you can hit more enemies!
I have been waiting for this all day :0
I love how you zoom in on small fun animations
"i am wrestle man wrestle man" quote from strong bad from poker night
Tip: Luigi does more damage the farther he is away from the enemy. Him combined with the fire spirit can not only cause major damage, but it could also take out a bunch of weaker enimies (goombas)if they run into eachother while on fire.
The Rabbids getting voices makes me think theyre evolving
guys lets help choctopus make his dream come true😃
SPOILER WARNING!!! Edge is actually even cooler Cloud that came from rabbid land (for some reason). It's revealed at the end of the game. Trust me dawg.
