We'd have to wait (or contribute if we could) till Frontiers level modding is refined as well. That or someone makes a Frontiers gameplay mod for Generations since that's likely doable now.
The default, non-Boost speed being relatively slow makes the stage easier to navigate, too. The Werehog stages weren't exactly built for breakneck speed, after all.
I'd be impressed if anyone managed to completely bring Werehog Sonic over with gameplay and everything, much like how someone brought Mario 64 Mario over to Generations.
I'm not the only one who's done this in their own time thank god, But for better experience and more of a Werehog feel I had added the double jump mod with the slow physics mod, that way he has the speed of the Werehog and the jump height of it too, even with the double jump enabled! That's how I played this anyway!
I know this is a mod but god, that one section from Apotos night in Unleashed with the ledges where you have to use the werehog’s stretchy arms to progress was very nerve wracking to me.
So your telling me fans can make mods like this but Sega and Sonic team can’t make a remaster/remake? They surely know that Unleashed is one of the most requested games in the series that needs a re release, they have to know right
Somebody posted a theory that the Havok physics engine might have licensing issues, but honestly... Maybe Sega just doesn't want to. Especially after Colors Ultimate was just a mess.
Boost Sonic moves just way too fast but maaaaaaaan Adventure Sonic would eat these levels up. Trying to port this to SADX is probably a schlep and a bad idea but my goodness, I would love to see someone try
The hell? terrible way to play the game. No disrespect to the creator ofc but it really is. The Werehog is pretty good though but honestly I prefer the brawler style of gameplay where he just beats everything up in style.
Yeah no I prefer the werehog to be honest it just ain't right for Sonic himself to be doing these night stages there really isn't nothing for him to do there than just running forward and jumping stages
