Actually, the domination of the automatic gear box in Mercedes Benz vehicles is an US American issue. Most of the European sold ones back in the time hadbeen manuals gear boxes. Further to the perticular beauty in this video: the bumpers might be European, yet the front lights are US American.
The manual looks like a fun car to drive. I still love my anemic 450 V8. It loves to cruise at 90.
