So many of our heros are passing on. I'm 71 and my heros were Simon and Garfunkel, The Beatles, and the Who. They remain unequaled decades later. It's good to see Art pass on the torch to his son. A bittersweet moment.

How wonderful this is. Art has been my favorite male singer for so many years, and I'm so glad to hear him still singing. I still have all of my vinyl records, as well as the ones I bought CDs for so I could listen to Art in the car or on my CD player as I went to sleep. Can't tell you how many times I repeated "For Emily Wherever I May Find Her". I love his voice so much, and I'm so happy he and Paul are speaking again. They were truly one of the most incredible duos ever, and I'm so grateful I got to hear them live during a reunion concert in Atlanta years ago. Really can’t believe he's 83, but then I can't believe I'm 74 either. Keep singing Art and I'll keep listening.

My heart is immediately engaged. My heart opens at this moment, of father and son. The beauty of their voices blended feels "beyond". I could weep. It is love.
How terribly strange to be 80... But still being the singer... And a father. A person embracing life with all the graditute... The happiness he shows to have is one few big artists can show you. He is a Bridge over troubled water himself, I got that, i get it, i sang that song so many times. Now I'm 40 and my condition doesn't allow me to sing it anymore.... I'm not happy. But I'm happy to see Art Garfunkel (both) happy.
We all are. This is testament to the fact that anything is possible if we believe, and that judgement of one's fellow human beings is so narrow minded. Can't we just love each other, for who we are and what we are, and not how the media expects us to look. Such an amazingly beautiful bond between them. Quite exceptional. Family is a gift

Beyond beautiful. It gives me a little bit of a tear, as Art’s Everything Waits to be Noticed was the music that was the soundtrack of my three kids’ childhoods. And Art Jr. was that lovely kid on the cover. What I Love about the Rain causes hugs and happy tears in this house. I have loved Art’s music my entire life . . . the best concert I have attended was Art with the Kansas City Symphony. And with his son’s breathtaking voice by his side, these songs make me as amazed as that performance did. Wow, beautiful. The apple and the tree. In this case, one and the same.

I saw them in Northern CA when junior was only about 4 and came out on stage. He had the same crazy hair at that time.
