    We humans have developed cultural knowledge and neglected environmental wisdom ! We suffer from hubris and are massively overpopulated ! Threatening many species with extinction! More is very far from better! The quality of human life is far more important than its quantity! Rapacious exploitation is against our long term interests ! Capitalism is well past its sell by date and is crushing the future of all life on our planet including us ! Get informed and get active ! We can turn things round !

    😂 It's clear that there was a time many thousands of years ago when the creatures that lived in the oceans were a lot more of a monstrous nature as the archeologist s finds prove that. There may even be remnants of that era as the tales and sightings of creatures still get reported but I believe that whales, manta rays and dolphins have evolved to the point where they are incredibly sensitive and intelligent. There's a video showing manta rays can recognize people and interact with people they feel comfortable with and swim away from people they don't like. They can see people's eyes as the experiment had them block the rays from seeing the eyes of the scuba diver and when they couldn't see the divers eyes they didn't swim away. How about the story of the Beluga whale that swam for hours with the dead baby trying desperately to get the baby to the surface to breathe and come to life You can see whales like Blue, Humpback and Bow whales how docile and trusting they are but evil people continue to use them for their own use for food and oil. They need to be protected and left along as even people need their own privacy. It's evident that the creatures swimming in the oceans this day and age have more intelligence than was given them credit by the unmerciful whalers of the past.

    People are so funny. Lets torture whales by tracking them down and tagging them so we can learn about them in order to save them? I’m sure the whales would say leave us the hell alone!

    If it means MURDERING any living organism, or Harming, in any way, intentional or unintentional, in the quest for knowledge, then that knowledge, not only should remain, but MUST REMAIN, OFF LIMITS!!!
    This is just another example of the human attitude of "Manifest Destiny" that we use as a justifiable excuse to pursue any and all means to an unjustifiable and, more importantly, UNACCEPTABLE END!!!
    Simply put, GREED!!!

    • @Lassisvulgaris
      @Lassisvulgaris 5 лет назад +1

      You're right. It's better to do research on humans, like Nazi Germany and USSR did. No animals were hurt during these tests......

    • @user-lb8vw9el4d
      @user-lb8vw9el4d 5 лет назад +1

      @@Lassisvulgaris; Sort of. I would argue that these people be allowed to give their consent and have the opportunity to opt-out at any time. Also, volunteers must be capable of understanding what is being done to them.
      However, harming human beings is no better because, if we don't have the moral capacity to treat one another with dignity and kindness, we will never have the ability to give any form of Life the respect it deserves.
      This is true no matter what Life we're talking about; a tree, coral, a blade of grass, an ant or orangutan, an elephant or dolphin, a worm or human baby. If we don't start treating any and all Life on Earth with love and respect and kindness and charity, we are all DOOMED.

    • @Lassisvulgaris
      @Lassisvulgaris 5 лет назад

      @@user-lb8vw9el4d We are already doomed. The sun will explode in 4 billion years. Whether mankind exists by then, we will not know.....
      What worries me, is that many people are more concerned about animals, than humans. What do you do to help children working in mines in Bolivia, working in factories in Asia, and hard labour in the fields in Africa? There are even people refusing to take medications, due to some conspiracy against the pharmacological industry. Measels, is a good example. Thought to be extinct, and now kills tens of thousands every year.
      Finally, do you grow your own vegetables and fruit, do you raise your own stock of animals? Or do you go to the shop, and support the "greed", maybe you're buying over-prized products, being called "ecological"...?
