Most impressive acrylic technique, but the artist would've gotten more quality on canvas instead of what looks like Grumbacher watercolor paper-but still impressive!
Thank you so much for your appreciation 🙏 Yes, you are right. This is on paper itself. I have painted few more paintings on the same theme on canvas. Hope you'll like it 😊
@@DebojyotiBoruahArt I am an artist myself, and I appreciate the visual tutorials because Acrylics is often misunderstood, but your skill in the flesh tone blending restores my faith in this medium. I generally use airbrushes and oils to achieve my effect, but again, I am starting to appreciate the versatility of what Acrylic paints can do-Thank You! I will watch your works with great interest!
Nice to know that you are an artist too. Thanks again for appreciate my acrylic works. I love oils too, but I wanted something quick and versatile. Tried acrylic in 2008. Was not confident then. But now it becomes my favourite medium. I hope you'll love this too. Good luck 👍 Keep painting. Have a great coloful New Year 🎊
As artists, we evolve. going from one level to the next is always an important part of our journey as we perfect our techniques for maximum effect and efficiency. flesh tones are always a great challenge because human beings come in many colors, and that makes the artistic challenge more enlightening, but it still comes down to good practice! I started with chalk pastels way back when, and I dabbled with watercolor (there's a highly demanding medium!) and went into scratchboard art, inspired by the works of Tess Nelson, a master at this complex medium! but again, as artists, we find our way, and it always takes great effort, so I'll be watching more of your tutorials!
Your control over the paintbrush and brush strokes are amazing. Flawless. You make it look so easy. Great work, I’m very impressed. Which brushes do you use for this painting?
Thank you so much for appreciating my works and support 🙏 I usually paint with white bristle flat and synthetic nylons. Any brand will work. Just we need little stiffer brush then usual. You can visit my recent work for details in description.
awesome job! curious to know if you soak and stretch the paper, similar to watercolour painting, and if you spray water on the paper before or as you paint.
Thank you so much for your appreciation 🙏 I use my paper directly as it is. No previous soak amd stretch. But I frequently spray water mist on my palette. Nothing else.
Incredible! Such a beautiful painting! I loved watching you work, and found this really helpful. Do you gesso your paper beforehand, if yes, how many coats? Thank you so much!
Yes it is suitable. I am using 300 gsm watercolor paper for this painting too. I have a playlist of Acrylic on paper. You can check it. Thank you so much for watching 😊
Just starting art ,I've noticed do you damp your brushes all the while ,The paint seems very fluid, also is it better on paper, than on canvas which seems to make detailing hard to get right?
Yes. I do damp my brushes when required. But for smooth blending I use dry brush. Paper and Canvas has its own merits and demerits. Yes, Canvas holds color well and dries little slower. Thank you so much for watching 🙏😊
Moi besikoi hard brush ei use koru. Soft brush okol suli akiboloi naiba ketiaba light blending koriboloi use koru. Tumi tumar mote use koribo para. Thank you 😊
I usually choose my base coat according to the mood of the painting. It's a good idea to choose a color nearest to the middle tone of the subject . Thank you so much for watching 😊🙏
Thank you so much for your appreciation 🙏 It's my own photoshoot and composition. You too can make this kind of composition easily of your own. If you want reference image for painting search on pixabey or unsplash.
