    Yes. How to make interior:
    1. Enlarge the cube
    2. Fill it with these assets
    Nice. You've done it.

      As much as I typically like his content, this was sadly not a tutorial but more of an advertisement for the polygon addon. Quite disappointed. There was nothing indepth about this "tutorial", it was basically as you said it. Make square room, throw in some assets and call it done.

      But that's prolly the smartest way to work in the industry, as an interior designer, it's very unlikely for us to model every single furniture, let alone those plants. But yeah, i do agree that this video is about advertising the poliigon, there was a similar video that was uploaded around e year ago.

      @@blenderguru Yeah, that's true, but it's also easy to feel cheated when you click on a tutorial, not a job application. Besides, by that logic we may as well teach people how to use AIs since they are even faster. As artists, we are unique, and that's the only thing AI won't truly replace, but uniqueness is mostly lost when we abandon the journey and focus on the end results.

    Shouldn't this be tagged as an advertisement even if it's for your own product? Because with all due respect this is not a tutorial for Blender but a tutorial for how to click "purchase".

    Not to be a jerk or anything but this seemed like a big ad for your website, again there's nothing wrong with it and the addon is cool but just own it and advertise the video as such
    With this approach, I can just buy a whole premade interior scene file from any 3d asset store and call it a day

    Some would say its cheating to use 3rd party modals, we call that is being efficient.

    • @dantemeriere5890
      @dantemeriere5890 Год назад +1

      It's not cheating when you are working, but people aren't here to sign up for work. So no, we don't call that being efficient. When you are posting tutorials on RUclips, we call that "false advertisement", "click baiting", "straight up lying", etc.

      Or he's just showing to beginners how you can obtain a fast and really good result. If u wanna work on games environment that's 90% of what you, you take 3rd parties models and put them together in a tasteful way. How is not a good tutorial showing a real room environment workflow instead of convincing a beginner that he has to model every object for months in order to create a single room?
