You always do such a nice job. You’re very neat and precise. Some bloggers are so messy. I really enjoy watching you. Thank you for being so good at your job!
I had this on repeat to make a suitcase and so pleased with the result. You are an amazing teacher. Thank you so much, this looks lovely on top of the wardrobe ~:). I recently became a patron too and so excited to see all the new things !
Thank you so much Suzi. It's a lovely little project isn't it. I shall be making some to go on my wardrobes, too! Thanks, too, for joining me on Patreon, it's really appreciated. xx
Your work is inspirational and attention to exact details and measurements is awesome. Thank you. I’ve made a suitcase and trunk thanks to you. . I just wonder….don’t most suit cases have the handle on the body of the case rather than on the lid? Great videos. Bravo!!
I am so happy that I found your videos. Your work is excellent and so easy to understand. I love making my own pieces and you are such an inspiration. I can't wait to get back making miniatures. My doll house is a 1/12 scale and I am keeping in the 50's era. Thank you for sharing your wonderful work.😊
I just added a link to your channel to my latest post in my blog ..... you're so talented and I always want to let my followers know where I get my ideas from Thanks again
Julie, please, love this tutorial as I’ve said already, but have I missed something? What is the need for the paint? I’ve stuck the paper and hessian straight to the wood.
These ones are just painted, but if you're asking about the larger trunk, it's so you don't have a plain wooden edge showing around the opening, and if your hessian has a more open weave, again, you can't see the colour of the wood showing through. Having said that, I'm just showing how I do it, you can of course do it how you wish.
Good evening Mam. I'm very new to this. I'm making a 1 12 scale Victorian dolls house.for our new Granddaughter I've been watching your RUclips channel . I think it's brilliant. I'm at a point of fixing it all together, but I'm stick of fixing the front opening panels on. Could you point me in the right direction for your video that explains this please. I have a few questions so hopefully your video will answer them. Thank you for your time.
One way to get measurements exact fir boxes and furniture is to print the shape using exact measurements on the computer - with photoshop - and then cut out the net and draw round it for a template.
Am really inspired by your perfectionism. Thanks for your reply. Hunted for a tutorial or template for a Moses basket but you only offer a normal hand basket. Moses is an awkward shape. Struggling here but persistent!
Pls pls make more videos your amazing and all your projects are just so beautiful perfect! i love it thanks for sharing your talent , you are AMAZING !
Thank you so much Petunia, that's very kind. I shall certainly be adding more videos and don't forget, if there's anything in particular you'd like to see a tutorial for, let me know and I'll do my best to include it.

My dolls house came built, so I didn't have to hinge the doors. I do hope you'll work it out! :)
🥰
Thanks much for the Obeche Wood tip! I had to look it up, the technical name is Triplochiton scleroxylon.
Yes, it's a bit of a mouthful isn't it! :)
Thank you 😊👍🌸💖
You are very welcome. :)
Adorable
Thank you.
Brilliant! ♡
Julie do you cut all your own wood? If so you do an excellent job!
Yes, I do and all by hand with a Swann Morton craft knife. Do have a look at my Working with Wood video, where I give tips and advice on cutting.
Your tutorials are excellent! The only thing missing is my ability to do accurate measurements!Lol

@@rosemarymortonjack9387 that's such a smart idea!!! Thank you! 😍
Julie, please, how thick is the leather? Is 2mm ok.
For a smaller project like this, 2mm will be fine.

Where can i find pattern? Or it inside your book?
The cutting list is in the description box below the video. :)
I'm looking for episode 1 but having trouble finding it
I think you've found it now? :)
Pls pls make more videos your amazing and all your projects are just so beautiful perfect! i love it thanks for sharing your talent , you are AMAZING !

What thickness is the wood
You'll find the details in the cutting list, but from memory, I think it's 1.5mm
