The first Isdera Imperator with the 5Liter Mercedes engine and gull wings, are one of the best long life Sport car ever made and he looks timles wonderfull beautyfull! German cars are best car in all times! Sorry for my bad english best wish Reiner from Germany
After 16 years of lusting after this machine. Someone made a Isdera comprehensive video essay (Drools) Thank you Alfa Guy. Greetings from across the pond. Any chance you would like to make a special on the Devaux Coupe? An unusual & gorgeous peace of precious metal placing homage to couach-builders yerteryears.
I really love all your content and was constantly watching your old channel back in the day. I mean EVERY video. For some reason there was no new material on the old channel and I did not know about your second channel. May I ask about the reason for this second channel? Is it correct, that most of the material on this channel is the stuff from the old Alfa Guy account? I think the topics are quite similar, but are the vids identical? Anyway..love this video. Isdera (the company) is from Hildesheim in Germany..which is just 30km away...but still: Nobody knows about this company and the fact that the company is located here, even the car guys. I know it from NFS back in the day and was quite shocked when I discovered that Isdera is located just around the corner.
I don't mention it on this video because was built from the beginning in very small numbers so wasn't a failure in term of numbers like the Xj220 and the rest of the cars that like the EB110, F50 and even the F1.
I love seeing exhaust modifications on the big 4 door S600s…I literally can’t believe my ears when u hear the sound a stock motor produces with different pipes on it…
The Erator (read backwards "Rotary") did never come in 3 versions. In fact it was a one of. The Erator got near to destroyed by an accident, but got rebuilt and modified multiple times. An additional important and interesting fact: Schulz created many other additional vehicles for other car manufacturers. Opel Kadett Aero, Irmscher, BMW Motorbikes, and so on.
The main cabin shell on the Autobahn looks like a fusion of a VW Beetle & a London Black Cab/Daimler Black Cab. The Bugatti Type 37(or 57? 😅) Atlantique seam fin is rad though! It absolutely needs a "Ahhhooooogaa" style horn that's as loud as a cruise ship horn. Gotta make the "peasants" scurry
The Commentatore "Replica" was built on the 2nd frame, but used - for legal registration - the paperwork of a destroyed Imperator. That's illegal and the replica's owner got a lot of juristically problems.
The Commendatore would be great with a tuned 2JZ. Cheaper, more powerful and more relaible than the 12 Cylinder Mercedes engine. Of course it would be named 106 :)
I wish he worked on his accent. Don’t get me wrong I can understand him clearly but for a young person his accent is so thick it’s like he isn’t even making an effort to improve it.
It’s always a good day when Alfa guy uploads
Thanks man
Thanks for the support
True about Isdera: ruclips.net/video/tMVo_8fg8s0/видео.html
The comendatore 112i was truly a missed opportunity, such a unique looking car that could create a whole style.
Isdera Imperator is also known as G-6155 Interceptor from Spy Hunter.
Wow Schultz really had some very interesting and high quality designs.
Better than todays supercars
Much better, in sort of way the original Pagani
@@AlfaGuy2 Pagani cars are okay but Lamborghini, Ferrari and Aston Martin dont, that Softtail looks like a stolen design from Mitsubishi HSR concept
Thank you again for uploading. You never ever disappointed. Also one of the favorite cars with a cool name.
Thanks for the support man
Wow that periscope is incredible
A wilde car in every way
Just the wicked intro was enough for my subscription👍
Perfect timing for a video

Anybody know the song at 08:44 thank you!
Still the best intro on youtube
Thanks for keeping this alive.
My favourite cars! Great video as always, thank you very much.
Thanks man
Excellent content please re-upload in original quality to keep it going and I need a good copy for the archives
Super insight. Thanks AG2
Loved the intro keep up the great job
Has anybody noticed that the CW 311/Imperator was featured on the "Spy Hunter" game cabinet?
B+B = Legends
Great footage!

My 1st channel got demonetized, I tried for 3 to contact RUclips but nothing so I had to create this one.
@@AlfaGuy2 That is really sad. But I'm so happy that you're back again. Thanks for the good work and all your amazing videos!
What about the Jag XJR15.
I don't mention it on this video because was built from the beginning in very small numbers so wasn't a failure in term of numbers like the Xj220 and the rest of the cars that like the EB110, F50 and even the F1.
Wonder what Paganis thoughts are on the 112
He loves that engine bro.

Commandatore I like that it's like a command

I used to play in need for Speed 2. My friends used to say that car would fly.
The Commentatore "Replica" was built on the 2nd frame, but used - for legal registration - the paperwork of a destroyed Imperator. That's illegal and the replica's owner got a lot of juristically problems.
They should have built the 112i I can tell you it would have been popular today even as a used exotic.
And it has the M120 engine but off course
Commendatore reminds me Olds Aerotech.
Yeah both have a long tail and are very slick
@@AlfaGuy2 yep, just like 908LH.

The Commandator did hit the road. It was even sold to an Austrian (first). No supercar is a supercar if it has not been built, homologuated and sold.

Albert Kloeti
Its in need for speed 2 on ps1
I wish he started speaking louder or raises the volume when he edits the video
I wish he worked on his accent. Don’t get me wrong I can understand him clearly but for a young person his accent is so thick it’s like he isn’t even making an effort to improve it.
Koenigsegg ripped this off.
