11/17/23 - "Fixed an issue where having a 100% skill cooldown caused skills to not recharge." what isn't said here is that they implemented a hard cap at 75% which is hella fuckin misleading since the phrasing here makes it sound like they were ok with it.
Contrary to how busted it seems, I actually believe it's a pretty fair trade-off given just how much of your build you have to dedicate JUST to CDR, in addition to the fact that to reach that high, the burden ring is tanking your HP. In my fight with Ravager that you saw in the vid, I obv couldn't afford to get hit, but I really enjoyed the playstyle it was basically just like playing with a mega-upgraded dodge that was worth using.
It won't matter. They will nerf it. I have yet to see a good build (not broken/expoit) that isn't nerfed to hell.
I always wanted to play as Nightcrawler
Still expecting them to hard cap the Cool Down reduction soon.
Also I am expecting them to nerf Stone of Malevolence because the amount of mod spam it enables is absurd, awesome but absurd.

Fun for co-op since you could spam the Medic's shield and Guard/Healing Dog. Its on cooldown after activation so they obviously has 100% uptime.
Ye one of our tests involved both of us going eng/med and just overclocking the placed turret constantly while spamming shields as the turrets did all the work.

20% from neck, 40% total from rings, 10% from relic fragment, 20% from expertise =90% CDR. What am I missing here? EDIT: Tonic. Forgot about the xenoplasm.
i feel like slapping this on the invader's auto dodge skill would probably make you 99% immortal
This is already achievable with Hyperconducer+Devoured Loop builds on crit builds with high fire rate. You get 2x charges of Void Cloak back in 20 seconds, I've never run out of it on my build even if I'm dodging the whole time.

@@raidenyamato3085 I don't have an updated for the new DLC so there might be better options now. Chicago typewriter with corrosive rounds and momentum, nebula with harmonizer, diverting heart relic, hyperconductor amulet, diverting loop probability cord Stone of malevolence and zanias malice rings. Keep max uptime on The nebula mod and just keep blasting with corrosive rounds. It doesn't work as effectively with the stone of malevolence nerf but I'm still getting infinite dodges.

Now that the second dlc has ring of ordinance, with invoker prime, this build got better for turrets. I got it to 100% uptime with burden of the stargazer (or rebel), legacy protocol, and expertise 10. No need for xenoplasm, and 2 free ring slots to do whatever you want with, and your turret will only stop if it dies
There have already been several builds that create effects similar to hacking/cheating and now they add this to the game, it even has the potential to brick your session from overuse on damaging skills, that's the cherry on top.
The Remnant 2 undisputable content master is back with another banger.
VashCawaii have you tried the new ring that causes you to bleed with the hardcore metal band. It grants a permanent 5 stacks of bulwark. Not sure if this is enough to change your tank build calculations but it's pretty cool.
I saw it, whether good or bad though I'm holding off on talking about tanking stuff until I have all the items and finish a video related to it all
don't forget to grab the "participation medal" increases health by 10, stamina by 10, movements speed by 10%, and damage reduction by 10%. Obtained by dying to any boss on apocalypse difficulty ten times. @@VashCowaii
This is awesome.
I also noticed that having to fast of a cast speed can break some abilities. Like on the medic class Redemption. Use to break for me all the time. If you have to much cast speed so that your charge up becomes almost instantaneous it breaks the healing and you dont get that extra 300% healing for holding the ability. In fact the faster your cast speed is the less healing you get. So the way they have it coded having fast speed is actually bad for this ability.
My idea at the time was to use redemtion with really fast cast time to get that 300% healing without having to stand in opne place and charge up for too long while also having a CD of ~10-12sec. "It was ~20sec base but if oyu used that cooldown reduction amulet spirit wisp i was able to reduse it down to ~10sec" on my medic arcon setup.
Also I use to play with the lowest CD you could along with the fast cast speed i could get while having the max CD. Cant remember the exact cast speed but IIRC i used it on a medic Explorer class combo with the ability gold digger. Cooldown was like 13sec for each cast and you must have fast cast speed for gold digger.

Where did you unlock that black ring on your bottom slot? I must of missed it in the DLC or i havnt came across it yet. Also the Amulet? I havnt seen either of these yet. :/
I think I’m gonna use this with the stone flesh potion on Alchemist, since it lingers after the skill starts recharging I can probably get 100% up time on that for a tank build, or even switching to the other potions
Theyll probably nerf this, but itll be fun to see the different builds that come from this.

I can only say that the PC ones are very broken xD. I am on PS5 and the maximum that allowed me to reach the skill cooldown reduction is 75%. It was no longer even necessary to put the ASTROLOGER'S CHARGE ring and the BLACK PAWN SEAL ring. It was in vain. It no longer exceeded 75%. Even so, I have created a "functional" build with that 75% skill cooldown. Thanks for the great contributions sensei. You're the best!
At a some what random guess, the break from spamming damage abilities could be cause by some sort of anti-cheat thinking that something is wrong because it can't understand that 100% cdr is possible. It could also just be because the game can't keep up with all the animations.

From what I understand, you can get this amulet as a world loot in N'erud, and not actually in the DLC areas.
Yeah the DLC added about 3~ new drops in every region. This is one of the ones in N'erud. The one we found was in Putrid Domain.
For me personally, the best feature of the update is Leto Mark I surpasing Mark II in terms of defence

I know this was probably not intentional by the devs, but whether or not they planned for this, this is why I freaking love Remnant 2.

When you say you shouldnt cast damage dealing abilitys are you saying you probably shouldnt use skills like Havoc form back to back?
Is this still viable? I don't have the Legacy Protocol and, if I don't have to look for it then even better! Love all the videos keep it up!
I feel like it's almost inevitable they slap a cap of 90-95% CDR reduction onto skills, because yeah, there are some drawbacks, but oh my god are there ever some skills that just completely break the game if they're completely spammable.
I need to get this before the nerf comes, though, just for the madness.
They mentioned a cdr related fix on Friday at the soonest, but the context it was mentioned in was regarding how 100% cdr broke abilities, no clarification was given on whether this high of cdr was intended or if the fix was just for 100% breaking.
Like I said in the pinned comment, it's really not as busted as you'd think, so I hope it's just for 100% breaking.
@VashCowaii I would like to hope so, because I enjoy playing high CDR builds. But, I feel like some skills - not all, but some - are just too nuts for that. Like wtf to a medic just constantly spamming out 100% HP shields + hots non-stop with its second skill, you know?

I really hope they wont introduce a cap on the cooldown reduction since it just kills fun builds like Gunslinger Quickdraw spam which is so fun, i doubt its that viable on Apocalypse so why nerf it? If anything give the skills a minimum cooldown of arpund 3-10 seconds depending on the skills such as support skills or offensive ones. You lose all your damage and defenses doing this.
They just capped it at 75%, but didn't mention it in the patch notes.

That's very saddening for me, I REALLY can't tell you how much fun I had last night spamming the Gunslingers Quickdraw skill on a 0.8 of a second cooldown..
ah, so that's the reason the game suddenly did that when i was helping a host that was spamming abilities, presumably with this build. good to know!

I worked so hard to make this build just to finish it and find out it's been NERFED. fml do you know how many times I had to reroll losomn to get the flames event for the black pawn stamp!?
I guess it still kinda works, I can just swap the burden of the stargazer for the steam coupler and still be really strong.

Really hope they don't nerf this since as you said it really isn't that OP. The dumbest thing you can do with this is just spam medic healing circle thing everywhere.
And the only reason you can do that is that Medic is one of 2 classes that has abilities that begin cooling down when they are used despite having a duration.
They probably will hard cap it soon.
Invader calls into question how broken this is with its 100% perfect evade skill.
You won't be touchable with near 100% uptime and judging by how much Gunfire hates the idea of tanking, unlimited evades will make them act.
@@godknightomegathere are other ways to nerf that ability, whether it be increasing the minimum duration consumption, doubling stamina drain or even making it so if you have less stamina than what's required to dodge, it won't dodge the attack.

@@godknightomega At first DR had no cap depending on how you buffed it, then it wasn't calculating right, all they did was fix how it was calculated. This isn't the same.
This is so much fun lol. I am missing one of the rings but still the CD is really fast. I am using engineer/summoner. Works awesome, I can sac summons and resummon really fast. I'm not sure what is causing it but every once in a while the summons cool down will just stop. I have to hit tab and switch to another summon to get it to generate again.

They will at minimum hard cap it.
Gunfire hates players being able to take hits in Apocalypse so Invader with infinite dodge and being untouchable near 100% of the time will make them change it.

We got ours in Nerud, Putrid Domain. May or may not be random world loot, didn't note any subsequent spawn locations on SaveGuardian.

That's all there is to it. If you want you can use SaveGuardian tool to help pinpoint when it's spawned and where to look for it.

I feel like this will get a hard cap at 75% or 80% CD. Mostly because the game gets dumb when even without the burden ring you can still have a CD of under 10 seconds on most abilities.
@iMaPound420 You don't need a potion now or if you preferred to keep the potion it then opens up a ring slot. Sounds crazy to not hard cap it considering doing so would open up a little more build diversity.
Don't have the dlc so the new amulet is unavailable for me. In the base game, with all trinkets, traits and concoctions, CD is maxed at - 80%. This new amulet is crazy.
Near Infinite shield from medic skill 2, constant shocking from archon skill 3, and as you said infinite voice cloak.
Devs will definitely patch this out.

How well does this work with archon stormtrance?
You can't renew trance while it's active, so you are still subject to the largest problem that ability has: having to renew outside of the trance where you can get hosed by a lucky enemy who catches you there.

It can be trippy lol, but you're only spamming it CONSTANTLY during area traversal, it's big chillin in boss fights
