- Buying and replacing a broken rubber hot-water hose on a Westbrass Velosah Hot Water Dispenser Faucet and Waste King Instant Hot Water Tank. I mange to do the hose installation in the most difficult way possible, but at least you'll get to see how disassemble the Velosah faucet.
The full part number of the faucet: Westbrass D271-NL-26 Velosah 9" 1-Handle Hot Water Dispenser Faucet. Also applies to the D271-NL-07. The Calorah unit is similar.
The full part number of the tank: Waste King AH-780-UL FBA_AH-780-UL Instant Hot Water Tank. Several brands seem to use the same tank and slap on different labels or make other minor changes.
The replacement hose is Santoprene TPE/TPV 73A FDA Tubing.

Oh man Ward,
that is exactly the info I needed
I really appreciate you!
I have the same faucet and heater and would have slogged down the same path to replace the hose if not for your awesome vid, so thank you!
Great to hear. Thanks for letting me know.
Thanks! I saw your video after I took mine all apart, but I needed to know what size hose and where to buy it. Thanks for your great video. Btw, I used a small adjustable wrench to press the hose couplings and release them, it presses both sides at once.
You just ensured you needed to buy a new faucet now😂

You have excellent taste.
Nice job, Ward I looked at the price of the unit and it worth your time in repair.
I probably would've gotten a teakettle out of the cabinet above the icebox.
Enjoy your summer
Thanks Mack. You too.
Thanks Ward, you will no doubt save someone with that reveal of "the secret". Thanks again.
Thanks so much for taking the time to film, edit, and share this.
Nice video! I love repairing my own things. It really does make owning equipment a bit more fun. I do find myself to be a bit of a hoarder of the old/broken devices in my home.
Which lubricant did you use to push the tube?
