@@Mothafckajoness It is. There's 3 laugh versions in the movie. 1. The pain laugh, which is what you heard. 2.There is the sinister laugh. 3.The Joy laugh,which the director said you'll hear at the end. That comes from the director at the press conference they had at the showing.
Joaquin did research and met with people who suffer with pathological laughter (PLC) It's a neurological disorder, and that's how he came up with his laugh.

This trailer showed me almost the same exact thing as the last one, just some extended scenes and more dialogue, and I love it... they keeping their cards close to their chest and not relying on the action/intense scenes, good job WB

Oscar. This is going to be THEE MOVIE! My husband was skeptical about it when we heard about it but when I heard that Joaquin was the leading man, my faith in a legitimate Joker was restored.
I totally agree with you with give me the Blu-ray now because it’s one of those movies I’m gonna be watching over and over again for being deep in the fictional character study of a man going mad. Kind of like Taxi Driver.

Mcu phase four has some pretty good things coming out. Well black widow and doctor strange 2 sound the most interesting to me.

I think the homie in the middle is the only one who really understands what he's looking at, and how incredible this movie is. This is my favorite movie. Period. Not comic book movie, but ALL movies. It's a masterpiece

Saw this at a midnight showing....my whole theater erupted in applause when he smeared that blood to make a smiley face at the end then when it ended it was silent then the credits started rolling and we just stood up and started clapping for like five minutes man...truly a masterfully made movie with a stellar cast and cinematography

For me this is THE movie of the year, the one I've been waiting for. I'm glad for all the praise it's getting but ultimately I don't need that to convince me of watching it. I can't wait for this... because the character of the "Joker" is one of my favourites... because he's nuts, he has psychological layers, he's smart, but he's likely to do a Madness, he says things that makes sense, even if he's doing wrong. Think of the dialogue that Heath Ledger's "Joker" gave us... Madting, in a Good Way lol.

A trailer shows the plot, a teaser does not. The trailer does make me feel like anyone could be the Joker after a really bad day.
A trailer doesn't have to show the plot, it's just all up to the studio. A trailer is just a preview, nothing more or less.

I cannot wait for this film. Joker is such an iconic character. Seeing the character shown as an ordinary man, who’s been ignored and beat down by the world he inhabits basically finding himself in that identity feels like such an interesting character story to tell.

Thats amazing!!!onces more an extraordinary photografy and outstanding execution roles,but this time maybe the oscar goes for her....all of the musical scenes i guess its in arthur mind , in feeling such desires towards harley that we must not forget shes origins,here they've forced to shows us that she also was a Arkham patient but in reality shes is a doctor of the same instituction and of arthur,and that is what we sow in the end ,that all scenes between them is a trick of the arthur's mind and was all his fantasy for such care toward him and understanding by his doctor harleen quinzel , and maybe the thinks git twisted cause we dont know who's getting treat by who....thats my thoughts thats gonna be the story ....

Joaquin Phoenix is so "Taxi Driver"/"King of Comedy" and "Arkham", brilliant. Besides, Phoenix has this natural vibe of being in the thin line between sad and furious. "Pogo's", the club Arthur performes has the name of the serial killer John Wayne Gacy, who introduced himself as "Pogo the Clown" in children's parties and fairs where he targeted his victims. Dark, right? PS: 8 min of standing ovation in the movie debut in Venice Film Festival.
This is film is going to be bigger than just DC. Difference between 1985 joker “nick Jolson” and “Joaquin Phoenix “. Nick holdson transitioned to the joker as a result of a physical accident. Phoenix transitions clearly as a result from society disregarding him. This new film will be a reflection of modern era. And yes people won’t like this However this film will definitely relate to society’s attitude to one another (mental health) and what happens when someone gets dragged down and down into isolation.

But Joaquin Phoenix removes all doubts in the first and second trailer. Not only do I predict an Oscar nomination, but he also wins the Oscar for Best Actor in a Leading Role. This film will silence all doubters. Wow Wow Wow Wow Wow Wow Wow Wow Wow Wow Wow incredible. Holy shit. This movie will hit like a bomb. I think Todd Phillips was inspired by the movies Raging Bull, King of Comedy and Taxi driver. I also think he was inspired by the books, the killing Joke by Allan Moore and the return of the dark knight by Frank Miller.
