@@ChickenCast100 holy shit that's actually so good! Truthfully, I just really wanted an excuse to put a sword in the graphic hahaha. Also, you may be pleasantly surprised in the next couple of weeks if you want to see Leo... 👀
Cute video, I like this concept and presentation for a series. I wouldn't mind seeing your experience with Eddy. He's always getting hated on, but his kit is a lot of fun if you're not just pressing 333333 lol
@@ongogablogian8435 Eddy is definitely a hard character for me to deal with, so learning him at the very least would be helpful! I'll keep this suggestion in mind for the future 😊
2 things: 1. pick a main you like and play them well. Even a low tier char can be a Tekken God in 8. 2. I've been playing Tekken since 94, and picked up Paul and King when I played 8. After labbing and Ghost battles, I've been able to beat Mighty Rulers as a Brawler in quick play. People are not THAT good.
I get what you're saying, but that's missing the point of this series. My goal isn't to become a master with every character. I simply want to try them all out, see which ones I vibe with the most, and make some silly content about my experiences along the way! I'm using Mighty Ruler as my benchmark of understanding just the basics of any given character. Your points are good advice for someone who is wanting to take the game seriously and get to a high rank. I honestly recommend most people do that! If I really wanted to just hit a high rank on anyone, I would keep playing Nina until God of Destruction (or at least die trying hahaha)
i am a certified jun main, you were doing fine, but as u get higher, the izumo stance becomes very useless, i suggest not doing it often, only whipping it out every once or twice per match, unless they dont know how to counter it or know the mixups. walls are somewhat essential for jun, as the laser combo does a really good amount of damage, and her wall splat moves are very abundant, make sure to use them. up forward 2 is an amazing 10 frame punish, but its situational i forget to use it too lol a good combo ender, from what i see from pros and GoD players, is the miare 3 2, as it leaves a tech situation with the last hit, which is delayable. you can time it late to do max damage, as if you ended ur combo before that hit.
@@drakesyther these are some great things to know for any aspiring Jun main! The times I played on Yakushima or Colosseum, I was very sad without a wall... Izumo definitely was a bad crutch for me to rely on so much, so if I ever take her higher I'll have to use it much less haha
Izumo stance becomes far from useless. 1,2,2 on hit puts you into Izu at +11 which makes the mixup completely unsteppable and uninterruptible. Also the input for her 10f is uf1. Her combo ender is Genjitsu 3>2 (> means delayed) not Miare.
@@scottvarley3823 haha that totally makes sense! It's a very confusing game until you learn all of the terminology, and even then some things just don't make sense LOL
If you have a character you want me to cover in this series, let me know! I wanna know what the people are interested in :)

3:50 as a jun main, that was fucking beautiful

You missed a golden opportunity to call the series "The main issue" Anyhow, Id love to see Leo next c:

Handsome voice
Man, id love to see Jack-8. He has some tools that are just way to fun to use and see. To add to that, he has a launching throw thats so fun to see!
@@seppukujordan5183 I'll definitely keep that in mind! He's someone I definitely could benefit from at least knowing what he does
I was just thinking about asking when you were going to post again. Good to see an upload!
FINALLY SOME CONTENT
You should do King next... 👀

The main issue with Jun in this game is that her lows are terrible. Very hard to open up opponents
