What mechanism are you using to test that inverted coolant pump for functionality when I see you coming in with the cables? Are you connecting cables to a 12 V battery and then touching them to the proper terminals? Which hand is holding the negative, and which hand is holding positive for context in that clip where you are testing it? Thank you for your time.
I did this very job this past Monday. Unlike some other people, I received no error codes or warnings. I was driving down the street doing 40 mph, and my 09 Prius just shut down. I slowed down, rolled into a neighborhood, and waited for the tow truck. I googled while I was waiting the 3 hours and determined it was in fact the AM2 fuse due to the inverter coolant pump going bad. Got the car home that night. Replaced the pump the next day. It was hell, but I got it done. I reused the original bracket.

the issue am having is that when starting my car it will start then after 30 or 40 seconds the car will off the 0km will disappear every other thing will be ON on the dashboard please help me out
Im trying to save my car from scrap. I don't have this exact problem but I'm looking far and wide for clues 2007 with a failed abs system for over a year now. The entire ABS system has been replaced with salvage parts but the problem persists. The problem is that there's no communication between the computers (Abs, power steering, airbag and drivetrain). Toyota garage quoted 10hrs for the technician to find out the problem with no promises it'll be fixed. The inverter pump is not working with but shows no codes. Drives perfectly fine and inverter stays below 70°C if I drive under 110kmh I'm being pushed to scrap a perfectly working car in good condition because of some random computer bugs.
Honorable sir. I am from pakistan. I have toyota prius 2012.3rd generation. I am facing EFI fuse blowing. My car was stucked in the middle of the road. I replace EFI fuse several time but when i try to start my car. Fuse blowing happen. What will you suggest for my car. I am very worried. Because i am residing in a town where no authantic machanic or electration for hybrid cars avliable. Please guide me. I will b very thankfull to you for this..
That mean your car wiring short to body May be wiring damage (any accident) Any Sensor fault /injector/air flow sensor. My suggestion is put first fuel pump May be that's the case Thanks

No doubt...i was completely check my car step by step i was found that oxygen sensor located at cylincer was short sensor wires are damage and touch with cylincer.i also check fuel pump but i am happy the fuel pump is ok. 2nd fault i was found that connecter wires of AC compresor are short due to cracks. I also replace the connector with new one. But honorable sir one thing happen when i unplug all connector of my car.and i fix the problem.but when again connect the plugs after rectification of fault. All calibrations of my cars was disturbed. But with the help of scanner problem was fixed by the machanic. Thank u so much for best ideas and keep smiling.

So NOW I have a really nice 2008 Toyota Prius with new hybrid battery rebuilt engine and a new inverter cooling pump I’m ready to work!!! 🎉

@Itchy-o4u I didn't. The tow truck came and hooked up the front wheels, and I released the parking brake so the back wheels would roll.

@@carfix1993 I did fuel pump it started then died and sometimes doesn’t even say ready
Started up drive around block it shook then died can’t get to start again
Chinese pump lasted a whopping 3 months before it shorted for me.
