How f--king stable is GumaChad, everything on fire no problem, I’ll deal with it. I mean everyone praising Zeus , Faker for G4 and 5 but man all 5 games Guma was unfazed.
that's actually gumas job at t1 and he nails it. dude is fuckin consistent. while top and sup roam and look for plays hes always dpsing and rarely inting. crazy to have such an reliable carry on the team.
He was also unfazed in the interview haha i love how he was laughing while saying it would be difficult facing BLG with yesterday’s performance but they’ll prepare well. Truly such strong mentality.
Mikyx just showed Keria another support option now that crazy boy will go back and cook. G2 showed their aces in this series and it was great but I think T1 are the big winners because they learnt hard lessons and didn't show too much but still ended up coming out on top.
Yike game 5 was bad but Hans wasn't showing up, Mikey hard carried bot. When Hans needed to carry he was missing. Griefing with no zeal and ldr items at the mid game.
Yo I'm loving Ksante's secret second passive: When in the last game of any major tournament series, cannot be killed in team fight, increased damage, your team wins the game. (Hold shift for more details)

@@games44_53 yeah man youre right i should be a fan of some dogshit noname team because thats not being an npc since youre unique and different like a special snowflake.
Hans not building armour pen but still focusing K'Sante is criminal, it's as if he expected K'Sante to never be in his line of sight during teamfights. Doesnt take away from the drafting though, in 2 of their loses the jungler was useless and was obvious from the draft to begin with. I get they are Yike pocket picks but both games effectively turned into a 4v5 because he couldn't ever do anything.
In all fairness, ksante was the only one with armor and has one armor item at that, the reasoning behind PD is the snowball, belveth execute + jinx passive + pd makes Hans an inevitable death. It didn't work out but it had thought behind it
@@marcusmarfe5514 agreed. I don't think it's fair to blame hans for the build considering their draft - the moment faker dies in team fights the game should be over for T1 and, in all fairness, that very nearly was the case - they just didn't go baron and instead kept fighting. I think the game could have gone to either of the teams in game 5 to be honest. It was a lot closer than people seem to think - and ldr would not have changed that. The level one in the bot side jungle at the beginning is probably the reason g2 lost - I think you said it well with the execute from yike, jinx passive and pds. The thought was there and they knew what they were doing going in, so ldr wasn't really an option.
@@oshhhhh yeah it's kinda annoying when people just blab on and on without really trying to figure out why it was the way it is, the moment belveth and poppy with HoB was picked it was already apparent they were going with an unorthodox jinx comp where instead of protect the president play style it was to burst some one down fast enough to get jinx going. It didn't work but I hate that people sht on them for it
BB played so damn well in this series! I'll be the first to admit that I had not bought into the hype that he is the best EU top laner, I would watch some of the games throughout the season and I guess I only saw the ones where he was just doing alright or being a role player. @@cryofrostrs3856 T1 ran him over even with phantom dancer. So might as well build a LDR that enables him to deal damage if they don't get the catch (which did happen a good amount of times but he simply wasn't able to get through the Ksante).
Monster performance from BB but Hans got megagapped, imagine that last game jinx being Viper or Jackeylove, they wouldnt have lost to the shopkeeper or to the ksante

It's a niche pick, which they used a second time, not catching them off guard surely since they just faced it? Bel veth, went horribly, idk what surprise picks you're referring to that went in G2's favour tbh.
The major issue for other teams is that because G2 pushed them to the absolute brink, T1 would now be able to fully identify all their flaws, weaknesses and crap champ picks. G2 basically gave them a buff for future games. We saw it happening after they were dominated by HLE and then were able to become a major threat in the finals
i genuinely say this with no malice but this series is undeniably in g2's favor if they have an adc who could actually impact the game. hans sama was absolutely invisible. i went into this expecting BB to be the weak link but it's by far hans. g2 with a top tier adc can easily make worlds semis edit: i love all the backlash im getting for this. ironically, im a huge T1 fan and was rooting for them all the way lol
15:27 this is what I love about Guma, he’s SO dependable. He gets caught and chunked by BB, plus loses his ult to a great wind wall. He doesn’t lose his cool, flashes out, instantly charges Q and kills Mikyx on the very edge of his Q range, then pushes up with his team. He’s a pro
It happens in sport and esports. You cannot stay strong all the time, sometimes u gonna have a bad day, and it helps to bait the haters out of their cave.
You learn more from failures than victories. Faker now knows which champs are most effective for him in this tournament, and you can see him changing his style from going all-in to playing with caution and making picks. Guma and Keria now know how to fully adjust against hyper aggressive bot lanes and deal with lane swaps. Oner knows how to counter jungle against mud fighting teams. And Zeus knows not to mess around with champ selection.
Big T1 and G2 fans, most favorite team in different regions. The only thing I don't like about G2 is the adc, I knew from 2023 that it would be a problem at some point. Now I hope people see it.
Hans really throw his lead in game 5. can't believe mikyx served him a giant advantage from laning phase only to be a janitor fish in mid and late game. but I guess the plan was belveth reset + jinx excited = win.
A jinx with that itemization is not gonna chew through a Ksante. Mikyx job was to keep lee sin and ahri away from Jinx he did it. Jinx job is to kill Ksante and he failed
@@CreeperawmanYT Yeah i noticed that after, but Mikyx had to sacrifice Poppy's tankiness for damage. He had no MR which is why Faker was able to constantly catch and shred him with Guma. It was a double-edged sword build
This might be cope but that was an incredibly high level of play in game 5. I hope they can take that as a positive and build on it rather than feeling like even their best isn't good enough. If they can perform like that more often they are going to go far.
T1 3-0 BLG and 3-1 GENG while G2 will run the gauntlet and 3-0 every other team, giving us another T1 G2 5 game banger where Faker takes Azir, Caps takes Sylas, and they both shuffle their whole teams into each other in game 5 on an elder coinflip. You heard it here first.

yr very impactful pick especially in this meta where kalista ksante is picked every game. if faker didnt ascend to another level in the last game, t1 would have gotten stomped with 4 dashers into poppy taliyah

We saw it happening after they were dominated by HLE and then were able to become a major threat in the finals

faker and zeus... espcially zeus... dude's been cocky lately even though he is causing the team to lose .... the rest is okay
Excuses
I think it's because of G2 insanely aggressive play style, they just aren't used to it since they don't have many teams like that in Korea
