What a awesome description that Jesus pronounces of his father
“Who is like thee, O father in Heaven? Majestic and holiness, terrible in Glories deeds, doing wonders, there is None that can be deliver out of thy hands. you wound and you heal, you kill and you make a alive again.”
DrLoot absolutely true about the lord. He does all things cause he loves us all so much and he sent his son so we can be forgiven of sin and be with him in heaven someday
Amen 🙌🏼
It's similar to a passage from Exodus chapter 15.
"11 Who is like unto thee, O Lord, among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?
12 Thou stretchedst out thy right hand, the earth swallowed them."
RIP Max Von . I pray that on this day you will walk the Lord in his kingdom. My favourite movie of all time and my favourite Jesus .
So true.
Very nice sentiment but, sorry, he's probably burning in your "hell". He was an atheist.
@@LittleB2007 how do you know this
@@LittleB2007 My hell will be also your hell . Believer or non
@@kevinjohnson-xt6kn No, it's your hell, not mine. I don't think there are such things as heaven and hell. YOU do. YOU think my late atheist father and Buddhist grandparents are roasted in fire for eternity just because they didn't believe in "your" god/Jesus. That's the basic tenet of your horribly cruel religion. Own it.
My Lord, you are beautiful!
RIP Max Von Sydow. Awesome cinematography ❤
Absolutely the best scene of the movie
Has to be, not only the subject matter, but the shot of the buildings, trees, and the people like figurines. Very nicely done.
It's my favorite scene in the film. Truly shows God's wonders and his love for everyone that he created.
@thewall283 The Video cuts too early.
Unlimited and endless likes for my God Jesus Christ ji.
Happy Easter
this is some good quality for a 1965 movie
Modern day evangelist should watch this film, Jesus never seeked wealth or monies or jet aeroplanes he came and sacrificed his life for mankind. Live his life and your soul will be saved.
They won't because they're like the pharisees blinded by greed and their own ways
“Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen
My favorite movie.
This scene was cut too early.
The Best Jesus Christ ♤
I can't place it but ever since I was a kid, I remember seeing this moving and loving it. It's my all time favorite and I won't watch any other Jesus movie.
The kingdom is in us all...Christ is the door...faith is the key...click
Faithful to the Bible.
In this scene he sounds like Vincent price and Charlton Heston at the same time
Max Von Sydow walks the halls of Glory now with Jesus Christ forever and this scene is fixed forever in eternity now.
Outstanding praise God.
Easter Sunday, 2020: Virus Shelter In Place; good time to view this classice. This is my favorite scene; I only wish the camera would have panned in a little CLOSER when Lazarus appears at the tomb entrance. God IS LOVE. PEACE & HEALTH TO ALL!!
Jesus will heal this land no virus has power over the name of Jesus.
And after this miracle, the Pharisees and Sadducees began to plot together to kill Jesus.
Nah....it was when Jesus cleansed the temple of the money changers. The Pharisees made money from them, also when people paid to bathe prior to entering the temple. This was his greatest miracle tho !!!
Our Father who art in Heaven hallowed be thy name thy kingdom come thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil amen
why isn't Lazarus shown after the miracle?
He is shown, you can actually see him leaving the tomb, he is the figure covered in white next to Jesus, also Lazarus appears at the end of the movie when Mary Magdalene says she going to see the tomb and Peter looks up and sees Lazarus standing in front of him and realizes Jesus has risen.
Love
Why wasn't this the way Christ's resurrection was portrayed at the end?
Can someone point me to the music in this scene? Different from the OST!
Here because of Peter Kreeft.
HOLD FATE .. .♧
The Gospel of salvation of our souls: 💜💕💜💖💞💜💕For what I received I passed on to you as of [first importance]: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Peter, and then to the Twelve. After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers and sisters at the same time,
Gave it a quick Wiki and there's nothing visual in this film after late summer of '63? There's even a pre production shot of Wayne from as far back as 1960 before even King of Kings was released? Big budget or what.
While this movie is powerful King of Kings is magnificent I love King of Kings it was one of the first Jesus films I ever watched. From the music, and the message. Nevertheless, they are both great both telling the greatest true story ever told.
I 💘
The movie so old
So?
About 54 years old now. 😁
But still the best portrayal of Christ
Sometimes the older films get it so right they don’t need to duplicate it. This is one of those.
