Even though I've always liked HB, this is still a good buff. I'll continue to use it primarily in move decks, but I'll use it more often in other decks as well now.
Yes! I think it works well with multiple man making him just under Shang Chi range and can be useful for your other move cards. I've liked him, but it was always hard to include him in most decks without a good reason, now I think it's a bit easier to justify him. I can only imagine how much higher the high roll for Deadpool can be now when hit by HB!

This is a pretty good OTA. I’ve been using a zabu hawk deck with Captain Marvel now. Hasn’t won a conquest run yet but hasn’t been doing horrible. Can’t wait to see how this shakes things up before the new season.

TLSG, Thank you my guy! I have been watching for ages and saw this vid. I swapped out Armor for Zabu and just went to Infinite! Holy Jesus, never thought I'd get infinite, let alone go 11-0 to Infinite! This deck is legit!
This is a great idea. I would have never thought of forge/HB to make kitty shuri feel good again. Especially a shuri deck with no redskull. I think vision might actually be a bit better than skull now because 16 flat power instead of 28-(anywhere from 2-8 power) with the flexibility to move it when you don't pull armor seems great.
Favorite change is probably the hawkeye buff cant wait for the new bounce decks to come out seems like its gonna be really fun also really happy abs man got the much needed buff!

Funny enough I saw the Hulk buster change as a buff to Nimrod. Now even if you can't get the Shuri play off, you can Hulk Buster and Venom for an 11 power spread (total of 33).
Ooo that's funny. I was thinking where people are teching in Phoenix into Destroy/Thanos Destroy could now be Absorbing man instead! I think there will be a lot of cool adjustments to decks after these changes. We just have to figure out the best way to do it first :).

I'm excited for Lady Deathstrike! At 5/3 she might be good in negative builds (3/5 or 3/7 with a forge hit) you could even have Arnim Zola included as well to destroy across the board! My only worry is that it starts driving armor and cosmo much more into the meta then they are now!
I had always tried to make a TorchPool deck and ever since the release of Phoenix Force it’s actually been somewhat consistent. Loving this Hulkbuster buff since it synergizes with both deadpool and human torch so well 🙌🏻
The meta is honestly in a very healthy place right now. You got HE, Bounce, Destroy, Sera Control, Surfer, Negative, Thanos stuff, and a bunch of oddball decks and all of them are pretty viable
It's very close but still not healthy. There's too much lockdown which is very uninteractive to play against. Thanos is especially bad with toxic plays like time stoe inti prof x etc. Other than that the meta is fun
@@tomekk.1889 its not lockdown thats uninteractive. Its the zabu darkhawk decks that make it uninteractive when they have shang cosmo enchantress + rocks in your deck to make the game a hell to play. If lockdown is a problem for you, youre probably just bad.

In the first round with the hulk buster into bar sinister 12:19 it would have been good to play the vibranium as well since the hulk busters would have freed up room, and the vibranium would have replicated
My Mr. President deck certainly appreciates the extra power on Abs-Man; and my Hulk Buster does, too - now he's actually a consideration, particularly if your deck runs mostly 3-power cards (bc otherwise, you might've just given their Shang Chi a target)
I’ve been experimenting with a pretty cool new combo of Zabu in one lane then in the other you go Wong, Shuri, Absorbing Man, Captain Marvel. Which gives you a 20 power Absorbing Man and a 20 power Captain Marvel that moves to one of the other lanes.
I've made a very powerful combo of kitty pride, Hawkeye, Medusa, and beast. By the end of the combo, I'll have a 6 power kitty, 7 power Hawkeye, and 8 power Medusa

Ha, I knew something weas weird with my Vision when I played him yesterday night for a quick Daily :D Now it makes sense :D Will you also try Bounce with "1/4" Hawk, or that one doesn't interest you much :) ?
Really like hulk buster buff. I use him a lot in move and destroy. (I don't have the best cards yet) but if you get him and can play it right can really increase your power. I find Hulk Buster better in destroy than in move. You can do him on Sabretooth, Deadpool, Wolverine, and get it to recycle or if it hits one of your destroyer cards at the end just increase the power of them. So say if you didn't get the best draw or something happened and he is sitting there at the end, gives a good last turn power amount for a lane.
You should usually/always play out kitty turn 2 instead of Angela due to the fact you won’t be able to buff the Angela until turn 3 anyways but in turn ur buffing the kitty still - idk maybe I’m missing some other element to that play line but that’s how I play it
What do you think about running zabu in this deck? Allows you to play shuri on 3 followed by marvel on 4 potentially? Great content as always, TLSG! ❤👊
I think it definitely has promise! I had two shuri decks set up. One was a zabu/Wong/Shuri/Marvel Deck, but a lot of the time if we didn't get Zabu down early it felt like we had next to no power output. I think it's likely that I leaned a little to far into the Zabu shenanigans, but I think the idea has promise to put another interesting spin on the archetype!
This has felt like a really fun twist on Shuri! I'll need to do further testing to see if there are better ways to optimize the point slam, but it has a lot of sneaky ways to pressure the entire board!

I literally made this deck last week, instead of shuri i put sera and instead of captain marvel i put gamora lastly instead of forge i put nebula

Also using Captain Marvel in move sometimes but usually it never triggers. It is so fun when it does tho because they are completely not expecting it.

There was an argument before the kitty nerf, but now since kitty got nerfed to only increase by 1, playing Angela first will typically give more power
