Super late to this, but it's good to know that Vallejo manufacturers a US Olive Drab spray primer that is an exact color match to the bottled stuff. I used it to undercoat my Shermans and saved me a step allowing my army to be painted just that much faster. If you, like me, don't particularly enjoy brushing on multiple basecoat layers, it's worth the investment into the rattle can for easy perfect coverage if you can find it 👍

Colour matching rattle cans is sooo useful
I switched to Halfords Grey plastic primer as a cost effective primer. Most colours go over grey primer with no problems.
I do a similar thing but use pound shop rattle cans usually.
Is the tarpaulin on the side of the tank upsidedown? It just looks wrong somehow.
