Been waiting for this since kosmo posted Also: imagine going in survival and finding a glitch that makes you able to paint the survival bots that makes you able to dodge them and just make them fight each other rather than fighting your base
I would love to see a multiplayer Monday where you have to build armored vehicles and survive an an arena the longest with lots of big red bots. (Basically the explosive bear challenge in Trailmakers)
a small problem with that may be that i'm pretty sure that every time you enter a world, the aggro is reset (this means you have to type /noaggro everytime you enter the world). still a neat idea though
Recommendation for multiplayer Monday: You should do some sort of race/obstacle course while tons of bots, preferably tapebots, are constantly attacking the player, whilst you try to complete the course. Becoming immobile will have you restart, and best time wins. (Only weak materials, cardboard, wood, etc.)
I tried the menu thing myself, and you CAN spawn creations with bearings. The reason you can't spawn certain creations, is that mods aren't loaded when entering the menu world, so only vanilla creations can be put in the menu screen.
mm idea: have everyone build a castle, and then have rounds and everyone can make army. greeny =1 point, haybot = 3 points etc. and have them battle. and up the maximum points every round
Hmmm I think the bots can be used in creative for testing. They could be used in various ways in challenges, could be really fun in multiplayer monday If you paint the bots with different colors maybe you could make something like a troop of bots vs another troop spawned by other player
I would love to see an amphibious race in MM! :D (Another idea could be a triathlon (water, land, air). This could be done with 1 vehicle for all area's, or a vehicle per area.)
Melee bots (mainly the Boss-bot) seems to have area effect attack. That means that 3 times one greenie will do more damage than 3 greenies at once. Gotta stick to some scientific methods, you know.
Multiplayer mondays that we would love to see? - Timed Vehicle survival with aggro all on - Bot wars (you each paint your bots a different colour and they war it out in an arena) obviously the bots would need to be assigned point values and you all have a point maximum to spend as you wish. - Mine and refine challenge: who can harvest and refine the most stone/metal (or even wood) in a set amount of time. - mine and refine full contact: same as above but less gentlemanly - races of all kinds with tape bots in random placements near the track - river races, but you obviously mentioned that Can't wait, keep up the great content Scrapman
Idea for multiplayer Monday: base defense (Please like this comment if you like my idea) Everyone gets a certain amount of time to build a base protecting a certain valuable block for example a duck Limit amount and type of blocks Once everyone shows off their creation choose 1 attacker and whoever built the creation gets to be the defender with their spud gun The attacker gets to send waves of bots until the valuable block gets destroyed whoever survives the most waves wins For an example of waves: 5 greenies, 10 greenies, 15 greenies, 5 hay bots, 10 hay bots, 15 hay bots, 5 tape bots, 10 tape bots, 15 tape bots, 20 tape bots, 5 red tape bots, 10 red tape bots, 15 red tape bots, 1 big red, 2 big reds, etc.
I would love to see a boat transformation challenge where you travel up and down a canal. Maybe even a crane on the boat. And with a cool scenery around the canal built with the tile builder.
Hey, you can now revisit older challenges: Tree harvesting challenge could involve returning whole logs/trees to a lumber mill, judge the end result by how many blocks you have(?) Could even do "Low Physics Races"
The bot spawners and painting would make a great battle simulator. You could have a Multiplayer Monday episode where everyone creates an army and you guys see who creates the best army.
Do like a wave based destruction Derby where you build vehicles that shoot different set of bots per wave. Each wave increases in bots and the type of bot(explosive tape bot)until your car is unable to move.
What if for Multiplayer Monday you guys did a thing to see who could live the longest when being chased by a bunch of tapebots (You might have to spawn the tapebots far away so they don’t see you immediately)
You should do a hide and seek with aggro all but aggro off for the seeker and then he can use a haybot that goes to the location of the hider. (Idk if you can put aggro off for one player and agro all for the hider)
Scrap Mechanic Boat races are now required. Drag, course, obstacle, battles, evasion (have tape bots on shore with aggro all on). *Leaving this message on Kosmo and Kan's update videos as well.
Hey I've been watching some of your old videos and I seen a semi truck (in trail makers) that you could attach guns too and fight over trailers and whoever has the most trailers at the end or at the end of a timer I think you could play with a couple of friends and have fun thx for reading if you do and have a good day
"Bot Wars" for a Multiplayer Monday, where you build a harvesting vehicle then you go around the map harvesting wood, stone, etc then after the timer is up! you can trade in the resources for bot capsules (even bot has a price in resources) then you go all out fight in an arena!
I think it would be interesting to find these pods in warehouses, maybe at the last floor? Y'know, like they are recharging or something, after you paint them you could pop the pods open and have friendly bots and who know, maybe you could even use them against the trashbot. After that, maybe you could find a recipe (an expensive one of course) of an bot beacon that would allow you to command them.
Good multiplayer Monday idea, assign all the different bots a point system then each player has a set amount of points to build a army however they want then let them fight, simple idea but could be fun
i can already tell they are going to make a bot- capsule vending machine with those things, or possibly a drop pod configuration with spud gun and sensor, so many fun possibilities with these updates.
Next multiplayer monday challenge, a race with a car that switches into a boat on a track made of road and rivers. Onestly now i'm just waiting for the workshop to become a crazy place XD
things I want to see in future videos: more community projects (mountain base, fmb, etc.) more bot testing (and this time, you can even try to come up with a way to capture a red tapebot, something which would be incredibly difficult to do in survival given that they only spawn in warehouses, although you still might have better luck in survival, given that the creative red tapebots seem to be programmed to attack any creations they see... and they are probably not going to set the survival ones to do that or else the top floor of the warehouse would just explode as soon as it loaded in...)
You could do a mm where you give every bot a surtain amount of points of how strong it is and then give everyone a surtain amount of points you can use to make a army. So for example you have a max of 20 points and then say a greeny is 1 point and a haybot is 4. Then you could make a army of 5 haybots or 20 greenies.
I would love to see someone use the different tiles to create actual rapids, with rivers and small waterfalls that make interesting rafting courses. Rafts would need some way of turning but could be controlled by a thruster on a low power permanently turned on, simulating the pull of currents.
MM IDEAS: -Tower defense with aggroall on a certain player and the rest try to defend the aggro player in their own made defenses -Home defense: each player makes a fort and the player stands in it with aggroall and see how fast a certain army of bots will get to you. This can be expanded by using traps to defend yourself. -something like totally accurate battle simulator: each player makes an army and faces the army of different players and see who made the best army. You can play around with different (imaginary) values for each bot. f.e. green bots are 1 point, scrap bots are 3, tape bot is 2, red tape bot is 4 and big guy is 8. and each round there will be a certain value limit for the army. This can be further expanded by not lining them up on 1 line but trying different formations etc... -'Zombie' survival game. players make cars, tanks,... and get aggroall on them and try to stay alive (keep moving, if a player can't move with his vehicle he is 'dead') as long as possible, the other players keep spawning bots until the survivor is dead. -air, water and land in 1 race, as the name suggests: a vehicle that can do all. Can of course be altered and for example only do land and water: an amphibian car.
Now what I think would be awesome is if you could set “noplayeraggro” and “noblockaggro” separately. I also think some sort of zone system would be cool so you could make bot factories and the bots won’t aggro on blocks in the factory because it’s inside the zone. So then you could have aggro all on and you would have to survive waves of bots or go deactivate the factory or something. Now that sounds cool.
It's very interesting how the creative mode bots attack blocks because that's absolutely not how they currently act in survival. Back in your video about trolling Tapebots you discovered that bots don't attacks players behind blocks, unless they're in a seat. I used this discovery to make a seatless mini tank for warehouses and it works extremely well, the bots flinch when you push buttons, but they never attack. If the devs are changing bots to always attack player created blocks then may not be possible in the future. We'll have to wait and see.
Maybe make a multi land type course with water, do you have to make a car that can also float and maybe do certain things, like cut a tree that is in the way of part of the trail, able to survive this area full of bots, etc. Another idea would be to try a bot apocalypse. Everyone makes a vehicle that can do whatever and an explosive somewhere in the vehicle, making you all survive on a world with a ton of one bot type. Start with greenies, then haybots, then tapebots, etc. Weapons are allowed. This would just be a last man standing sort of thing. To make it somewhat fair you all can take turns making worlds, then rock, paper, scissors yo see whose world gets used when.
Imagine: a gladiator battle, in an arena, where you have to build a gladiatorial combat machine to fight the bots in waves of increasing size. not my idea, but wanted to increase the chance of scrap man seeing this idea by: Ethan Elliot
Multiplayer Monday who can build the most fortified creation under a certain time frame and spawn in bots to see how long each player's. Creation lasts with the bots attacking it with a explosive in the middle of your creation
I think maybe the community should make some challenges for ScrapMan with the new bot capsules and do a escape but you have to build your own vehicle enable to escape i just think that would be a cool idea anyways if you are reading this have a great day! (:
1v1 Bot war best of 3, tournament. 25 points to use. Make a platform with spudguns installed into the ceiling/floor that are connected to a button to activate at the same time. Make the platform 5x5 and evenly spread so the bots spawn with an even spread. Greeny - 1 Hay - 3 Tape - 5 Red Tape - 7 Boss - 10
For multiplayer Monday you and kon should do a walker challenge where you all get inside walkers and the bots chases you and you have to survive as long as possible.
wait i have a cool challenge you guys can do, so it'd going to be a bot war but when you place difference places you got a weaker or stronger bot so a example when you place 1st you get a farm bot when you place 2nt you get a tape bot and when you place 3rd you get a greeny and then when you are done with all the races you get all the bots you just got and make then fight in a 1v1v1
no aggro is for you only. tape bots and red tape bots were updated a while back to target blocks so that people won't just make a bunch of saws to protect there base as the tape bots would shoot the saws off
Imagine filling the canyon with water and having a boat race through it with custom tiles, you would need a seriously agile boat but it would look awesome
I have an idea that's kinda complicated to make. You could do try and do one of those base defender games or a tower defense game, where one (or more) person is defending their base, while another player (or more) are trying to attack them with the bots. You could also try and see how having multiple bases (1 for each player) would work, with everyone attacking each other. (I'm kinda thinking this one isn't really possible)
castle wars: you all have castles to defend from 1 person, which spawns bots in the middle of the map. that try to break into your casle. which ever one survives the longest wins.
Two palyer tower defence: You have a little farm with ungrowed crops, for every grown crop you harvest u get "coins" and for those, you can buy robots to send on the onther players base. The first one to lose a crop to a bot loses. And the building part would be liek building the farm as efficient as it can be (with some limitations) and maybe like a maze with turrets to prevent the bots fro mdestroying your crops. U can rework this idea if you like it. Thx for being awesome!
mm idea: scatter bots across the map. Build vehicles. Whoever can destroy most bots before their vehicle becomes undrivable, wins. There may be different zones where there are more/ stronger bots or zones where there are weaker bots. Maximum 2 spudguns, 16x16 build size, aggro on. No thrusters, no glitches.
"Why are you shooting eachother???" its simple- the ranged ones are the ONLY ones to aggro on blocks with aggro turned off- thus the 'jars' which count as blocks get shot.
I have a idea for a challenge an amount of people in a bot tournament where every round you get a certain amount of points you can then "buy" robots with the points bigger bots cost more points (ex: greenys cost 1/4 a point, hay bots cost 1, tape bots cost 5, red tape bots cost 10, and the big red costs 20) each round you get more points (ex round 1; 10 pts, round 2; 20 pts, round 3; 30 pts) before each round you place and paint your bots your channel color and they fight last team standing wins
You guys should do a battle where you have a certain amount of points and each bot has a certain amount of points to be able to use it. You then choose which bot and paint it in your color and see which army wins. You could increase your points a bit every round and have it where whoever wins has to keep all their bots that lived, of course respawning them so they are at full health, while the others can change their army however they want as long as they keep in the points range
Multiplayer monday idea: Cardboard vehicles with agroall last one standing wins As rounds increase the number of bots and also the types of bots increase and change Second idea: place harvestable trees in terrain editor and you could place a bunch of trees or rocks and have a sort of 'new and improved' wood cutting race :]
River Boat Race! but with tapebot spectators that shoot you. I would assume that a barrier around their legs, with a roof over them, should hold them in.
Everyone should build the ultimate survival raid breaker for a multiplayer Monday

you all have castles to defend from 1 person, which spawns bots in the middle of the map. that try to break into your casle. which ever one survives the longest wins.
The coolest update I´ve witnessed on this channel and it´s my birthday, lmao.
When I used loading screen editor, I can spawn in creations with bearings. You cannot push buttons, but if they are connected to a seat, they work.
Multiplayer Monday is going to need another day with all the new maps you a can create.
Heres an idea for Multiplayer Monday, Build vehicles that can drive on land and on water for mining resources as fast as possible.
For a multiplayer monday, you should have strategic bot battles.
"Why are you shooting eachother???" its simple- the ranged ones are the ONLY ones to aggro on blocks with aggro turned off- thus the 'jars' which count as blocks get shot.
Good to see you years later scrap my man
0:34 because they are iconic to the community
I have a idea for a challenge
an amount of people in a bot tournament where every round you get a certain amount of points
you can then "buy" robots with the points
bigger bots cost more points (ex: greenys cost 1/4 a point, hay bots cost 1, tape bots cost 5, red tape bots cost 10, and the big red costs 20)
each round you get more points (ex round 1; 10 pts, round 2; 20 pts, round 3; 30 pts)
before each round you place and paint your bots your channel color and they fight last team standing wins
The battle bots section of this video was so great and unexpected.
tbh I expected you to make a stabilizer mug monument at the menu
You guys should do a battle where you have a certain amount of points and each bot has a certain amount of points to be able to use it. You then choose which bot and paint it in your color and see which army wins. You could increase your points a bit every round and have it where whoever wins has to keep all their bots that lived, of course respawning them so they are at full health, while the others can change their army however they want as long as they keep in the points range
Multiplayer monday idea:
Cardboard vehicles with agroall last one standing wins
As rounds increase the number of bots and also the types of bots increase and change
Second idea: place harvestable trees in terrain editor and you could place a bunch of trees or rocks and have a sort of 'new and improved' wood cutting race :]
River Boat Race! but with tapebot spectators that shoot you. I would assume that a barrier around their legs, with a roof over them, should hold them in.
4:40 Maybe we'll see those other plants eventually have a purpose or something
