Maybe after the Giant Kitchen is finished :)

Maybe the tapebots only spawn if you grab the spud gun, since in your attempts without it they didn't appear and in all your attempts with it they spawned
Or maybe it was spawning the cow that increased the difficulty. Since Scrapman has always spawned the cow when he grabbed the spudgun. I don't know if the game can sense you taking the spudgun.

You know what I'd like to see, a doom challange map. You have wepons that are similar to doom wepons, all you need is a BSG, Big Spuding Gun. The big farm bot or that garbage bot from the devlogs could be bosses.
I think that using very short timers ticking unless you cross certain areas (with challenge sensors), I think it could also be possible to have a random seed for the maze to be built. I want to try and build a challenge using this method, but I have so many other things to do x}
