When the SRS unit is replaced, do you have to set it up with some special Honda scanning tool. I was told by dealer that it would need to be reset and programmed?
@@theoverengineer Thanks, I have used the manual reset SRS via the yellow plug in the fuse block by the drivers seat, however, I guess once a new unit is installed this may not work. My unit now will not reset anymore with the manual reset procedure. My local stealer ship dealer is not user customer friendly, just want to overcharge exorbitant price. They quoted $1100 to replace. Most likely not willing to reset and program the new srs to my Vin number?

Dealer is right. So if you do the installation, you still save hundreds.

Wow. What a scam artist dealer. Sorry to hear your misery. If able, shoot a video, showcase their business model, review them.
My 03 accord has been in an accident and the airbag light does not light up at all. What can I do?
Nice video
Please what year accord is this?
And what trim? LX, EX, or DX?
