Got 92-20 airbag code in 04 accord. Replace the indicator with $27 Duralast Switch SW7578 from Autozone and solved the airbag light problem. Checkout old switch and found 103 ohm resistance was defective (open circle). Thank for the video.

I commented ago because I had this code on my 2012 Honda ex-l. Sir bag light was flickering off and on. Like you noted, the “off light” would not always turn on and that is when the airbag light went on.
Finally got the hazard light switch switch replaced (was a little more difficult in the 2012 Honda Accord due to having to take out the whole center consul and I’m happy to say the light has stayed off!! $46 dollar fix compared to spending $1000s at the dealership. Thank you so much!

Thank you for the video. It helped me fix my problem. I took my switch apart and the issue was a bad solder on the 361 ohm surface mount resistor. Re-soldered it and it seems ok so far.

Thank you, this saved me $224 worth of “labor” at Honda, though unfortunately I overpaid for the switch and couldn’t escape the $150 “diagnostic fee” for plugging in the scanner and checking the codes 🤦‍♂️ I can’t believe how stupid easy this repair was!

All DIY mechanics should have a good code reader. Make sure it has ability to read ABS and SRS. and I wish mine had live scope. Bought mine off Amazon for 150$

Really I thank you very much for your help and your illustration. Although the bug is easy and nothing and could cost airbag capsules and more, but it's tricky.

For anyone with an 8th gen civic, this fix can also work. The passenger airbag on light is supposed to be right above the flashers button but for me an aftermarket radio didn’t have the slot for the passenger airbag on module so it wasn’t plugged in. All I had to do was plug one in, clear the code and no more 92-2x.

I just fixed mine. There was corrosion on the solder points on the circuit board in the switch. I used isopropyl alcohol and scrubbed the points with a wire brush. I assume it was from condensation getting in the switch from the ac vents being next to it.

I just took it out and blew on both sides and it went away... lol.
