They did say per ML, and you can’t say how it compares when you don’t know when it was ingested. Even the first positive was long term metabolite, no parent compound or any short and medium metabolites... they have no clue when it was ingested. They also don’t know how much is released when it leaves fat tissue and gets released into the blood/urine. That would depend on how much fat was burned, and if it’s stored in the fat tissue around organs, then most likely he’d only test positive after extreme weight cutting since it’s the last fat that’s burned. Which would explain the positive tests each time around the weigh ins

Jon Jones’ test failure is a “pulsing effect.” So how come out of ALL the people who have failed drug tests with steroids, nobody else had that pulsing effect?
He’s saying that so far the only pulsing they’ve seen has been from the specific long term metabolite specifically from ORAL turinibol and that this is the same problem(the pulsing with the metabolite) that other organizations are having. He also said the only real study of oral turinibol was done by the Russian doping dude.
The people who failed the drug test previously most likely tested positive for short term metabolites. The main thing is that long term metabolites get stored in your fat cells and they can theoretically remain there indefinitely, until your body breaks down those fat cells, at which point the long term metabolite gets re released into the users system. That is why Jon Jones test positive only for the long term metabolites. They tested him frequently enough that if he had actually re taken the drug he would have tested positive for short term metabolites (most likely) but since he didnt test positive for any of those it's more likely that the long term metabolite was rereleased through the burning of fat cells

You also have to consider the amount of trace in his system....it was so low that it wouldn't have helped him cheat anything....therefore I believe he didn't cheat the last two times of the positive results. Here's the thing about that 1 picogram is 1 trillionth of a gram or one gram divided by 1 trillion. So it's actually a higher value. Last time he got popped for turinabol he had 20 to 80 picograms. So if it is just one picogram like Jeff said then after 18 months he has 20 to 80 times the amount of picograms he did the last time.

1. Jeff Novitzky seems to miss the point. Jones maximal punishment was not only reduced by USADA for substantial assistance (from 48 to 18 months), but also in the arbitration hearing (from 18 to 15 months) because they ruled that his degree of fault was limited due to the ingestion of a tainted supplement. They now argue that the low levels of metabolite M3 is not the result of consumption of a new administration of oral turinabol but due to a pulsing effect. However, the pulsing effect in the clomiphene study was observed after *intentional* drug abuse of normal pharmacologically relevant doses (30 days x 50 mg doses). So, my questions to Jeff and the UFC: how can you be sure after this new development that Jones 2017 violation was due to unintentional use of oral turinabol? And regarding, these other organizations that see the same pulsing effects in their athletes: were they initially punished because of unintentional or intentional use of oral turinabol? 2. Furthermore, Jeff gets a few scientific facts wrong. a) Rodchenkov didn't use his own urine, his lab had reference urine samples that already tested positive for oral turinabol (or other metabolites known at the time) and re-tested them with new methods. b) Furthermore, there is a small publication (albeit not peer reviewed) from one of the major companies that develops the instruments used for testing (Agilent Technologies). The study was done by researchers at the Doping Control Laboratory in Spain and the National Anti-Doping Laboratory in China. They administered a 5 mg dose (rather small dose) of oral turinabol to a male (45 year, asian), collect urine samples over 14 days and tested the urine samples for different oral turinabol metabolites (albeit not with GC-MS, but LC-MS). The metabolite Jones tested positive for can be seen already after a short time, but it disappeared again after a few days. However, this shows that at least in China tests with oral turinabol seem to be legal and could in principle be conducted.
Well i'm going fully nationlist here and suggest that China is also the place where we had the first CRISPR babies. Perhaps the human study review board in the turnibol case is literally a rubber stamp. I mean its not like the us hasn't had ethically megere human trials with bad informed consent (Tusgagee, HeLa cells).

The people who failed the drug test previously most likely tested positive for short term metabolites. The main thing is that long term metabolites get stored in your fat cells and they can theoretically remain there indefinitely, until your body breaks down those fat cells, at which point the long term metabolite gets re released into the users system. That is why Jon Jones test positive only for the long term metabolites. They tested him frequently enough that if he had actually re taken the drug he would have tested positive for short term metabolites (most likely) but since he didnt test positive for any of those it's more likely that the long term metabolite was rereleased through the burning of fat cells

Here's the thing about that 1 picogram is 1 trillionth of a gram or one gram divided by 1 trillion. So it's actually a higher value. Last time he got popped for turinabol he had 20 to 80 picograms. So if it is just one picogram like Jeff said then after 18 months he has 20 to 80 times the amount of picograms he did the last time.

1. Jeff Novitzky seems to miss the point. Jones maximal punishment was not only reduced by USADA for substantial assistance (from 48 to 18 months), but also in the arbitration hearing (from 18 to 15 months) because they ruled that his degree of fault was limited due to the ingestion of a tainted supplement. They now argue that the low levels of metabolite M3 is not the result of consumption of a new administration of oral turinabol but due to a pulsing effect. However, the pulsing effect in the clomiphene study was observed after *intentional* drug abuse of normal pharmacologically relevant doses (30 days x 50 mg doses). So, my questions to Jeff and the UFC: how can you be sure after this new development that Jones 2017 violation was due to unintentional use of oral turinabol? And regarding, these other organizations that see the same pulsing effects in their athletes: were they initially punished because of unintentional or intentional use of oral turinabol?
2. Furthermore, Jeff gets a few scientific facts wrong.
a) Rodchenkov didn't use his own urine, his lab had reference urine samples that already tested positive for oral turinabol (or other metabolites known at the time) and re-tested them with new methods.
b) Furthermore, there is a small publication (albeit not peer reviewed) from one of the major companies that develops the instruments used for testing (Agilent Technologies). The study was done by researchers at the Doping Control Laboratory in Spain and the National Anti-Doping Laboratory in China. They administered a 5 mg dose (rather small dose) of oral turinabol to a male (45 year, asian), collect urine samples over 14 days and tested the urine samples for different oral turinabol metabolites (albeit not with GC-MS, but LC-MS). The metabolite Jones tested positive for can be seen already after a short time, but it disappeared again after a few days. However, this shows that at least in China tests with oral turinabol seem to be legal and could in principle be conducted.
Well i'm going fully nationlist here and suggest that China is also the place where we had the first CRISPR babies. Perhaps the human study review board in the turnibol case is literally a rubber stamp. I mean its not like the us hasn't had ethically megere human trials with bad informed consent (Tusgagee, HeLa cells).
