      Kevin Brown - are you referring to the emergency number on the telephone system or the American tragedy that occurred in 2001? In either case, I suggest you check your facts. If, however, this is an obscure reference to something else, please let the rest of us in on your joke.
      On the other hand, if you are merely being a troll, kindly restrain yourself.

      Have you watched all of her appearances on Craig Furgeson? You get even more of a sense of that there. She is such an under appreciated actor in Hollywood. And I think because she is so good at diving into her roles even die hard fans like me often forget roles she was in or don't recognize her at first in new ones. For instance, did you know she had a small but CRAZY powerful part in the movie Serenity (by Joss Weadon, the follow up to Firefly)?

It's annoying to watch. And it's annoying to watch everyone fall all over them like you are, only making them feel as if their over-hyped self-worth is justified, it is not.

      she didn’t “portray” it a lot actually. like in Cult especially in the store in the first episode those are we’re her actual fears chasing her and so that was real, she didn’t know it was gonna happen. And with Lana the screaming and crying she dig deep in herself and looked stuff up and watched stuff about it to figure it out. And like she said she doesn’t know where she ends and characters start.

    • @invisigrl
      @invisigrl 5 лет назад +710

      It's fascinating really. Our bodies probably wonder why many of us drink until we pass out on One Saturday night. Over taxing our livers, dehydrating us, killing our stomach functionality all in just a few hours.... Can you imagine what you put your brain through for SIX months of shooting as a mental patient or soldier, etc? It's almost like brain washing. Like Anorexia. You trick your mind into seeing yourself as fat when you are not. You don't even have to be an Actor to do it. If we had less people interacting with us (reminding us of who we are) we could trick ourselves into thinking we were someone else. I've thought of turning my house into a creepy Haunted House and living as if it was.

    I still think about her character in 12 Years a Slave. I love her as an actress but really hated her character in that. But it was a very realistic and horrifying portrayal, and I’m happy they didn’t soft-peddle her character just because she was a woman. Her character was so immature, cruel and petty but she played it well and believably and although it was a small part, I still think she should have gotten more acclaim for that role. I think it really warranted an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actress, and I always thought that Lupita Nyong’o should have been nominated for Best Actress (and should have won in that category instead).

    I really was in awe of her acting in that clip at 7:13.
    The whole cast was great on that show but Sarah Paulson really did everything an actor could do on that role. Mindblowing.

      UUUURGH so good. Not a word said, just an entire inner monologue, like a page worth. Just the face.

      Erika Wiberg she got a striking haircut and perm. She’s a woman. In a high profile case. Everyone made fun of her for it. Everyone. Media. Those in that courtroom. Everyone.

      I’ve heard she’ll make a cameo this season, I’d rather her be a regular but I’m glad we get that at least.

    I love how forthcoming she is with her process. How self aware she is. This is gold. Most actors hide these things behind nebulous statements. "l had to find something real","l needed to find the truth of the character","l don't know how I got there, it was something in the alchemy". She's very thoughtful towards other actors coming up in the game. Great stuff!
