That would be way too dangerous considering that they have to film every scene multiple times so actors would be smoking like 50 cigarettes a day. The cigarettes used for movies and shows are normally herbal so they don't have any tobacco in them. Also normal cigarettes have been banned from film sets to stop the advertising of smoking.
