- Lionesses from the Kmabula pride and their cubs come across the Xinkhova female leopard - in a tree - with a kill hidden on the ground.
From MalaMala Game Reserve to wherever you are in the world, we'll bring you moments from our daily safaris in one of Africa's most iconic private game reserves. This is essentially a continuation of our 'Rangers in Isolation' series which was filmed during the national Lockdown.
Glad the leapord is smart enough to stay put.
It's always funny watching lions climb a tree. 😃
7 lion cubs beautiful
Wonderful sighting! When the lionesses were looking up at the leopard it seems like they were trying to figure out why she can get up there but they can’t! Good try tho! Seeing & hearing a bunch of cubbies is always a pleasure! Thank you for sharing! 🦁👑💛🧡
These lionesses can't but other lionesses can
Cubs melt my heart every time I see them 💖 and Kambula lionesses 👑🦁.
Cutest thing in this wild world.
This one is a sketchy situation as the leopard can really get up them trees. Lioness not so much.. amazing how they try... ❤
Lovely video. Lions going up the tree, so cool to see, not a match for our nimble footed and agile female leopard though. The cubs are gorgeous. Thank you MalaMala.
Was rs and aeae gg
😁👍🦁
People generally think that lions can not climb trees. Going up is not usually the issue, it's climbing down or falling out of the tree that is the problem.
Nkoveni's daughter with a cool sunset on the background♥️🐆♥️Love the colors♥️
Leopards climb very high.✌️
Wonder if the leopard laughed at the lions trying to climb the tree...
She would do rings around the lions in the tree an amazing climber with lightening speed.
I guess she did.
So many cubbies
بہائی جان بہت مہربانی ایسے پروگرام جانوروں کے آپ دیکھاتے ہیں شکریہ ❤❤❤
Omg, so spectacular! Lion queen moms r fierce, indomitable. The leopard is a threat to their young. Don’t want to see the leopard to be injured or killed but happy to see moms’ instinctual behaviour to protect their cubs. Cubs r ridiculously adorable. Hope for all to survive. Life is a battlefield on any savanna 💕
Wow I couldn’t wait after a title like that! Watching now! ❤
Lol Leopard Lover.
@@annettelane659 I love both leopards & lions. It’s a shame they both hate each other!
@@tara_p_rose11 It so is a shame Tara, I love them both too.
Glad leopard was safe, stayed in place, and did not allow lions to distress her and to make a wrong decision. Glad lionesses clambered down safely. I think this is how one of BB hurt his hip, jumping down the tree and landing the wrong way. The injury remained until it slowed him down and he died before Tyno and Nhenha.

Perfektní video mám hoďně rád lvy a ty malincí jsou boží..🦁
Splendid video
Lions : nice tree ! Let's climb and play on it too...
Леопарда можно не жалеть! Львицам всё равно его не взять! Кохти не те! 😊
Minha gatinha parece esse leopardo na árvore ela tem quase a mesma agilidade dele na árvore 😉
Seven cubs? Wow.
Brilliant thank you❤
I hope the little babies get to eat
The leopard needs to find a tree that is harder for lions to climb
Lets just say this pride is not the brightest one out there, hopefully the cubs turn out ok
The cubs turn out to be killers.
What a ridiculous thing to say, I've seen younger leopards panic in that situation, and they got the feed they were after anyway. What you talking about
These lionesses are typical cats. They appear to be daft, but deep down they are natural born killers.
That looks like a bullet wound on that one lioness's right shoulder. Will the rangers check it out to make sure that she wasn't shot?
That is why I came to the comment section. Would love to know!
How about the one at 2:27 that got a tattoo of a heart on her chest? 🤣😂
I loved the guinea
The beautiful part of this scene 😍 is when the innocent cubs emerged through the tall grass running to their mom unknowingly what is going on around. My question:
what makes the pride chase a rival & similar master of the wilderness??? Does this often happen as a retaliation by the pride for any reason or behaviour; the leopard provoked them, or dared to hunt the youngsters, I guess the pride wouldn't think to prey on the leopard, would they???!
If you mean why do lions attack leopards, it’s because they are competing predators for both food and land. They eat the same prey so every kill a leopard makes and eats is less food for the lions and vise versa. Both will take any opportunity to kill each others cubs simply to get rid of future competition. But that’s with any African predators really Jackals, Hyenas, Wild Dogs, cheetahs, etc will all kill each others young if given the chance. But nature isn’t completely cruel and each animal has a unique way of living that helps them survive. Hyenas have clans and very strong bites, jackals are raised by both parents to better their odds of survival, Wild Dogs live in large family groups (usually) and only the alpha pair will mate so it might be 6 pups to 15-20 adults and they also have babysitters, Cheetah cubs camouflage really well in the savanna and they tend to hunt and move around during the day which is when most other predators are sleeping
The answer from @moonmoon7319 is a good one. But what you are seeing here is a case of the lionesses looking for a cheap meal. They know that when a leopard kills, they will take the carcass up a tree to get away from other predators and eat in peace. So the lionesses try to follow the leopard up the tree to get the meat, most times they scare the leopard enough for it to drop the carcass to the ground, and the pride will eat it. So here, they are basically trying to steal the leopard's kill. But, as the tour guide said, this time the carcass was not up in the tree but hidden somewhere in the bushes. In the end the lionesses discovered it and feasted on it.
Nature can be cruel sometimes. Imagine the leopard doing all the hard work in hunting and killing an impala or antelope and the lionesses just come and steal it.
Every sighting is unique & most extraordinary on *𝓜𝓪𝓵𝓪𝓜𝓪𝓵𝓪 𝓖𝓪𝓶𝓮 𝓡𝓮𝓼𝓮𝓻𝓿𝓮*🙌 The Xinkhova female was very composed & confident leaping from one branch to the other with such finesse considering the threat she was facing from the Kambula lionesses. Amazing tree climbing skills & the fearless little cubs being there. It's so good to see them all healthy & prospering even though a meal was lost to the Xinkhova female she was able to slip away unharmed❤
😊

The most important thing that should be on everyone mind currently should be how to invest in different sources of income that doesn't depend on the government. Especially with the current economic crisis around the world 🌍. This is still a good time to invest in various stocks gold, silver and digital currencies
Even with the current dip in the market I'm still glad I can smile 😊 back at my portfolio of $19750 built from my weekly trading with Mrs Olivia.

How many Kambula sisters are left of the original six?
I think 5.
Exciting stuff!!❤❤
How many females in kambula pride and cubs ?
BLUES MOVES
dear girls! next time don't try it again! miss leopard is agile and clever. Don't waste your time by climbing up the tree. You find a kill
somewhere else!
so that, at the end video what they eat? Lepopard ?
They're cats! Are they not friends???
Includes Lion Cubs
Why didn't the leopard keep her kill in the tree?
Leopard are beautiful animals it suks that every other predator picks and takes from the poor cat. That suks. Leopard's have a hard life. But that's Nature l guess. Lol
Why they got confused about the smell of the kill?
They want to go to pick it up but why? May be 🐆 is a threat for their cubs!
Hope leopard gets away
Lions & Tigers are bad trees - climbers.. 😂😆
It's sad in a way but it's all part of survival a revolving door. The Leopard would have killed their babies 🤷
The little cubs know its safer not to be on that kill?
Why ???! cause the leopard will revenge one day..their moms stole forcibly his spicy kill 😭..
@@ahmedbusati209 no.. the bigger lions all get agressive and violent around the kill- all fight and growl and snarl for their share- cubs can get injured in that scenario....that fighting can be very stressful to watch. Shame - poor leopard without its food now !
Never a good idea to be parked under a tree with a leopard perched on it in an open top vehicle ... and definitely time to move off when angry lionesses start climbing the same tree to corner a spotted cat.

😁🦁👍
What are they eating under that tree?
What does this have to do with the video? Totally off topic. Go somewhere else.
