I got a shot of Toradol last month for a major back injury that I didnt want opiates for. I went from calling my mother to help me out of bed at 9am, to manually changing a tire on my car 20min after I got the shot 3 hours later. It was a miracle, and I can totally understand why the players loved it. Its not euphoric and addictive like opiates, but its an insane anti-inflammatory. If you have a job to do that requires huge physical prowess and you are already in pain, its the PERFECT drug.

Wow, you’re the first I have heard respond to this. For eight years I had been self injecting Toradol at the rate of once or twice a month. This was for acute migraine. They took me off of earlier meds for migraine due to interaction issues. No one warned me about Toradol. I ended up on hydro morphone as a last result. Toradol eventually ate up 1/3 of my kidney tissue. Everyone got all worked up over the opiates, but it was Toradol that did the damage. I’m now off of both medications and finding relief for daily migraines through lyrica and flexor I’ll combined. Thanks for speaking up. I’m a retired wrestling coach and football coach of thirty years. I appreciate you bringing this forward. This sounds really similar to military veterans. Theres so many soldiers or veterans out here living without disability compensation. All their pain they've been living with was caused by the military. They have no way of claiming the disabilities because they have no medical records or proof when the initial Injury occurred. This sounds really similar to military veterans. Theres so many soldiers or veterans out here living without disability compensation. All their pain they've been living with was caused by the military. They have no way of claiming the disabilities because they have no medical records or proof when the initial Injury occurred. Mainly because a doctor never noted they were seen by a care facilitator.

They basically groom, raise and treat these players like cattle when it comes down to it. Of course players get million dollars checks, endorsements, etc. but at what cost. When it's all said and done...half of these players are so bruised up and suffering with brain and body injuries, it's hard for them to even enjoy the money. The NFL could change some rules in the game to prevent some injuries but....they're not because people get a kick out of seeing people get fucked up. That's part of what he meant I'm assuming.

Understand this happens on every level in football from high school on up. My senior year I was doped up for 6 games after seriously hurting my knee and that was in 1996.

They should have a bigger roster and more backup players.. Pay a little less and hire more players so that if somebody is hurt they can sit out until they heal.. He'll have a 100 man roster and go 5 deep in every position..
