Great message, I was actually moved to Oklahoma by God I fought it on every level, I love Oregon the mountains fishing hiking driving fast on winding roads, The first Church I was compelled to attend in Oklahoma had A Yoga instructor who used the Church to teach Yoga to seniors,, I couldn't figure out why she hated me so much, and always seemed, to get get frantic, and angry by me, I asked the Pastor if she attended services, he said no, I gave him the look like maybe she should, it can be hard to understand the hierarchy of Satan, The AntiChrist, Lucifer and the Fallen Angels, and where a person fits into that hierarchy, you are the slave and are less than dirt to them. If you have ever wondered about the Serpent, in the Garden of Eden, look up the NAGA, in Ancient Indian Folklore. Beware though the full Armour of God and Jesus Christ is necessary. Many only know about the Condolini Spirit but it's way deeper than that. And Remember in The Beginning was The Word of God, he has come in the Flesh and if anyone should beleive on his name they will be adopted, by God!

My son connected up with a young woman who did yoga, etc, He made a profession of faith in Jesus at the age of 11. His girlfriend was a former Hindu and made images of goddesses. She claims she was a follower of Elkhart Tolle, but loved all belief systems, even Christianity. They both did yoga together in the beginning. My son was a professional fitness trainer. He had more ways to de-stress and didn’t really need yoga. He was with this girl for over a year. He was exploring his spirituality again so I was grateful. Unfortunately the stressors came from closing down his business due to lockdowns. He suicided Feb 22, 2021. He was not suicidal. Looking back I kept hoping he would return to his faith, and in a way I think he did. One month before he died, he confessed to our family how bad he was, but didn’t say what. I prayed for him and I had to let God work on him. He really loved his partner, but I don’t think she was a Christian. In the end he told me that she was “playing the immigrant card” on him, that his Dad and sister didn’t believe him. Her brother was getting married in the summer and she was sending money back for his wedding. Due to lockdowns his business was closed, and he found a less substantially paying job. He was immature that way, but really stressed mentally and said he was so anxious. Hospitals were closed down and counselling was by ZOOM. Since he’d not been to church in sometime there was no one to call, but most of them were closed down except by Zoom. He was a good guy. Worked twenty years in his business after university. So much pressure on him. They planned to go to church when things opened up. Probably it was too much. I miss him terribly. I’m grateful he gave his life to the Lord, and he tried to help his sick Dad for years. Anyway, I think that Yoga religion just didn’t have the power of God in it, by the name of Jesus. Exactly, the lady that conduct our exercise classes likes to utter some hindu words and I stopped taking her classes. She has multiple sclerosis because of the form she does ( not in my class ), she got it straighten through surgery and now she is back to square one.

Can I add that I was going to this prayer chapel at this church when God seemingly amplified this chanting sound..ahummmm. I opened my eyes and this man was sitting on the floor in some kind of pose with his hands under his chin like praying hands. I exited immediately. There were some other strange spiritual things happening, now I know why! Lord, thank you for protection!
I am also an ex certified yoga instructor. During the pandemic I didn't want to gain weight after being laid off work and I had just had a major back surgery the year prior so I was looking for gentle exercise when I found yoga. It helped me more than the back surgery did I lost 30 lbs and more fit than I've ever been before in my life and I fell in love. That was 4 years ago. About a year ago I didn't understand why the yoga wasn't working I was depressed I was more anxious than I had ever been and I was very very confused I couldn't keep anything straight in my mind and I couldn't understand why. One day I was meditating and I literally felt like I had reached enlightenment. A total out of body experience but at the same time I was still looking through my third eye and I saw a spirit figure whom I thought was God come walking toward my third eye. It wasn't until later when I was reading my Bible and ran across the verse that says Satan masquerades as an angel of Light that I realized it was not God I saw and everything related to yoga was immediately stopped and removed from my home. That was about 6 months ago and I have not done yoga since. What I realized is this. How yoga is brought to us in Western culture says it's just physical exercise however having immersed myself totally into that lifestyle I can tell you that because it was originally created as part of Hindu religion as as worship to the gods and every single yoga pose is a worship position to one or another of their 300 million Gods there is no way to separate the spiritual part from the rest of it. Please take this as a warning from personal experience Christians need to run from yoga❤

Sheri thank you for sharing. What type of yoga were you doing? I also started practicing during Covid and I decided to take it very seriously and decided to live as conscious as possible. The change was truly incredible and my vibrations were extremely high. My awareness and intuition were on another level and I soon started trying to manifest and I literally received everything I asked for. I started reading multiple books at the same time and my speed and comprehension astounded myself. Happily I started thirsting for the Bible and I started to believe in a way I never had before. I ended up stopping because it was almost too powerful. I just wasn’t sure where all this power was coming from and I was afraid I could be going down the wrong path. The other day I was watching “ the chosen” with my kids and Simon the zealot was praying and then started to do some of the breath work I used to do. I was astounded because I couldn’t believe a Jew at that time would be doing some of the same stuff. It made me wonder how this tradition started in their religion. I never had a bad experience and it was definitely hard to stop something that made me feel like I could do anything I put my mind to. But knowing for a fact the existence of evil I decided I better play it safe. Truthfully, I’m still conflicted.

In my daughter's elementary school they introduced it. Thankfully my daughter had known about it through my knowledge and she refused to do it. When they contacted me I fully supported her so they couldn't force her. We have to teach our kids at home and not let these people indoctrination come in to our home.

This literally happened to me when I was in middle school! I was trying to get into stretching to get more fit and flexible, but I kept having this disruptive thought coming to my mind telling me to stop. I just couldnt continue because this thought was SO pervasive. Thats when I learned yoga was the worship of other gods, and I been trying to tell people ever since.. but some dont believe me. God has kept us from great danger-- praise Him!

Brother Vlad. Thank you. I have almost got into yoga with advice from a friend years ago for my stretching muscles . But I have always been a true believer in Christ. The urge to do yoga has presented itself to me many times through the years. But something always held me back and I just believed it to be laziness to take on such a structured lifestyle. But now I know thanks to you telling this truth that it was always my Lord holding me back and away from this evil. As a matter of fact it was just this week that I thought of starting it because I restarted exercises. I homeschooled years ago. My children didn't go to a school until they went to college and they both came to me individually after starting college to thank me for homeschooling them. That lifestyle was a true blessing and I'd do it again. No regrets.

My brother just told me some women at his job were teaching the elderly to do yoga and taught them "warrior poses," and it's completely demonic. Stretches and exercise is fine. But under the guise of "yoga" is a no-go to me. I'll be praying for you! 🙏🏽 Renounce this practice in prayer and ask the Lord to help you get free from it.

I was doing yoga for years, I was even leaning into New Age, meditating, trying to open my chakras, believing in reincarnation. After so many years being away from God, I finally heard his calling and came back to him. What a comfort in knowing that my Father in heaven loves me and saved me.
I was tired all the time, very low energy physically and mentally. Just as I started getting into this new age healing as a last resort that’s when I got diagnosed with cancer, so everything was put on stop. Your last sentence “loves me and saved me”, made my eyes water. I was saved from entering this demonic world. I didn’t see it back then, now I do. I’m not a Christian but totally recognise that you’re right: before the lockdown last year I did yoga regularly but started to notice a weird sulphurous smell from the mats that no one else noticed. When the yoga stopped I felt in my body a deep knowing that it wasn’t a good thing to do it felt it was keeping me in a weird energy somehow even though at the time my mind was telling me I was relaxed and physically healthy because of it. Never doing it again!

I was deep into the new age and yoga practice and everything you could think of! I wanted to have that enlightenment of my chakras and thats when I started getting intense back pain. To help my back pain I did MORE YOGA. 4 years later and after finding Christ no doctors could help me and I thought this is how I would be forever in my 20s and not able to even sit down without being in pain. Thats when I found deliverance and every time we renounced and rebuked the witchcraft new age and kundalini etc etc etc I had sharp pains in my back that worked its way up my spine and out of my chest it felt like. The pain is GONE and I am free PRAISE THE LIVING GOD. I was trying every thing under the sun for my pain other than looking to Jesus to help deliver me and heal me and my pain was a physical manifestation of all of those practices. I was cured from depression and anxiety that I have had for 14 years that everyone and every other church said that I would just be that way forever… THIS IS REAL STUFF. You are so correct. As a Christian, I became a yoga instructor for health reasons to understand yoga. Needless to say, my instructor in the class and I clashed throughout the instruction. However, it is a suttle demonic take over of your mind. I am grateful that I never got off into the demonic forces. But, you are spot on. Thank you for sharing Jesus Christ as the true God. There are no demonic forces in yoga. Most yogis are vegetarians, pray, refrain from sex, do charity work snd continue going to church and worship God.when I think demonic I think of black magic. I feel very good with those physical exercises and with the meditation, but I get so insecure and confused when I hear a lot of Christians telling Yoga is demonic. My Yoga teacher is such a kind and peaceful person. Since I've begun with this I've stopped thinking on sex on a wishful way and see it as a sacred gift of God which needs to be done with respect to the creator. I even stopped to masturbate and try to remain with a pure mind and heart. I don't understand why it should be bad to oneself.

Yoga came a lot before Christianity. How come it's designed to lead you away from christ? When I was 16 I was on an acid trip by myself and saw an image of buddha in my closet. That gave me a desire to look more into eastern philosophy. I also was doing yoga and began to have spiritual experiences. I was hungry for spiritual encounters , that I would wake up at 4am everyday to practice yoga sometimes chanting, meditating, opening up chakras, and listening to eastern teachings to enlighten myself, getting high on psychedelic drugs to find my purpose. But the only one who could fufill my spiritual hunger and identity was Jesus. I used to think Christians were ignorant, hypocritical and narrow minded. Even my dad would warn me of that yoga had demonic orgin, but I thought he was just too religious. Pride is what covered my eyes and decieved me to believe lies from the devil. I thank God for taking me out of darkness into His glorious light. I was blind but now I see! Thank you, Jesus. There is only one way to the Father, and the Word of God is Truth. After reflecting on trauma and resentment I had over certain people in my life, I realized I needed to change the way I thought and felt to really grow. Yoga and meditation and drugs and worldly philosophy does not change a person's heart. At best it suppresses the symptoms, but God is the only Healer and lover of my soul. He is the one who changed my desires and my thoughts to be conformed by His Spirit. Once I realized how rich in grace God was to forgive my offenses, it was easy to forgive the people who had hurt me. God saw that I wanted to change but was not sure where to go from there. One night in my dream i asked God if He existed and the Lord made His appearance in front of me in a Glorious Light. I saw clouds of darkness scatter away just as quickly. The sin that defiled me left along with it. And I never felt so clean and pure as I did in His presence. That is when I understood how much in need of Him I was. When I woke up I got on my knees and surrendered my all to live for Him. Because I wanted to know Him more and more. And since then He has proved Himself faithful and merciful every day and every night. I also stopped yoga among other things. I had asked Him how he felt about yoga the next day and He led me to watch the testimonies of many redeemed people that used to practice yoga but claimed it was evil. Then for my own personal experience I tried to justify it by doing it for stretches poses but afterwards I would experience a sharp pain in my hip that I never had before, so i took this as a sign to stop.
Yoga is to develop psychic abilities. Yes an occult practice. But if your mind is not ready for unknown and beyond this reality you know . Then it's never a good idea to get into it. Fear attracts demon.
I took one yoga class years ago. I hated the atmosphere and what the teacher was saying about her philosophy. After the class, I threw up. Never again.

Let me provide a perspective from the Hindus the actual original practitioners of the tradition. - Yoga is an Indic/dharmic/ Hindu practice. - yoga as it is done in the west is less than 1% of the actual tradition itself. - it is a spiritual tradition with a physical component, which is what the Westerners gleamed onto. - Hindus do not believe in proselytization unlike Christians, and do not want people to become practitioners of their faith. Instead most Hindus want people to continue in whatever spiritual path aligns with their family and culture. - his whole Demon thing is actually quite ridiculous from an Indian perspective. You can have higher spiritual experiences with these practices, but they require years and years and years of discipline and practice Not a couple of yoga classes or even years of a western style practice would create effects in the system to that degree. If you have had experiences, that is your own psychological issues, not innate affects of yoga. Most Hindus would encourage devout Christians to not practice yoga. All Hindus want to do is be left alone to practice their own faith, and not have it adulterated and stolen by the west. And then for the Westerners to turn around and criticize and misrepresent it.
I'm christian. Been practicing yoga regularly for 6 years now. And yoga really help me improve my health. I can"t thank you enough for that. And yes, I know hindus/buddhists worship gods. But I don't think they're demonic. Never crossed my mind to have such a judgmental thought like that. I respect your belief. The idea the the gods and goddesses of religion outside of Christian faith is not demonic is faulty. Years ago I started learning about this and I felt so convicted by God to stop doing yoga. I was embarrassed to tell anyone because I know to a lot of people it would probably sound crazy. I'm so glad that you have the courage to come forward and expose the true meaning behind it.

Praise God I found this video! I started a new class today, I'm a junior in high school, one of the requirements to pass the class is to do yoga. I spoke to my teacher and asked him if I had to do yoga. He told me that I had to participate and if I didn't it would lower my grade. I told him that yoga was against my religion and I wouldn't be able to do it. He straight up told me, "How is yoga and walking against your religion?" (we also have to do these walks around the campus). I was really shocked at the way he spoke to me, it was like he was mocking me, but either way I explained to him that there are certain poses that praise other gods. He said, okay and as I awkwardly left the classroom, he asked me what my religion was. I told him I was Christian. He used to be a Christian too.
I took a yoga class for the first time about 5 years ago. I remember them telling us to empty our minds while meditating. I also remember feeling like I was high afterwards. I now know that yoga is not for Christians. First of all, the bible tells us to "Meditate on the word day and night" and I know that emptying my mind will give the devil an opportunity to enter my thoughts. I have not done yoga since then. It saddens me how many Christians are clueless to this.

I left yoga and was in Hatha yoga and Kundalini yoga for twenty years and was delivered by Christ. I was involved in kundalini yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan and lived on a yoga ashram when Christ called me out. I left yoga in 2011 and Christ freed me. I started in college for stress release and led me to the new age and Kundalini Yoga where I got involved with Yogi Bhajan in 2009. I have been free from new age and yoga because Christ delivered me.

Four years I was attending church while I was also taking weekly yoga classes (sometimes twice a week, I also was going away on yoga retreats). Like you said I thought I was just practicing yoga for my health, although over the years something continued to niggle at me (my Father in Heaven never left me nor forsook me), I just shoved wee niggles aside telling myself the yoga was just for exercise and that I was strong enough to stand against the other stuff involved in yoga practice (even though I was chanting mantras at the time). I dont attend yoga classes anymore (for three or four years now). I still use some of the yoga stretches to keep myself fit and flexable, I dont practice mantras anymore. By the grace of God I still attend Church and understand clearer that my God provides me a peace that passes all understanding (possibly a peace that I thought yoga could provide and I was looking for). I bear no ill will against my yoga teacher who was more decieved than I was. When writting this, I realsied, in all the years since that time I haven't prayed for her. I will pray now that she sees the mistake she is making and how decieved she has become and pray that she sees and accepts the truth of our Lord Jesus Christ and what he has done for us and recieves a peace that passes all understanding.

Meditating and breathing on spiritual way without Christ is spiritually dangerous. Been there, done that. There was no one more open than me for Eastern spiritual practices but I was started manifesting horrendous things. I was also attacked by evil spirits. Additionally, I was attached by insufferable intrusive thoughts and fear almost all the time so that I could not function. Lastly, I was able to defend myself from my real life enemies who were attacking me in various ways because I felt sorry for them as I felt in oneness with them. I cried Jesus for help and I have been living in peace since then. So to eastern practices and New age- no thanks and never again. They open portals to the demonic that enters your chakras.

I agree. I did yoga for several years as a part of my physical work out, 2 times a week. I did enjoy a stretch and a relaxation part of it, but still you can feel that there's more to it and strangely enough, the atmosphere was mostly toxic in the class, even though most students were very spiritual and new age. Pass. True connection with God is what all is about.
Because of your experience and knowledge cant you develop a look alike yoga without invoking demons. You say there are good exercises that stimulate nerves, organs and etc. There are those who do yoga to get body benefits but have no alternatives

During pandemic I started to practice Yoga, I downloaded application and every morning for an hour was ‘working out’ i wanted to be in shape mentally and physically.. After some time I experienced very unusual dark dreams that felt very real.. It wasn’t nightmares, it was something more.. I literally physically and emotionally was suffering during the nights.. It took long time to wake up and realize that Yoga isn’t just a physical exercise..

Yes I feel the same about Yoga. So many people I know are obsessed with it and I was pushed into trying it many times but it has always felt wrong to me. I love pilates which is so similar yet Yoga I can't stand. Never understood why but this makes a lot of sense now. My intuition has always been incredibly strong.

I I'm also a certified yoga instructor and stopped teaching and practicing traditional yoga with meditation/pranayama/chanting/Patanjali's yoga sutras, etc. when I became a born again Christian. Thank you for clarifying that for me. I have a friend that has been trying to get me to do Yoga but I've been a little sceptical about it. I know why now and now I can share this with her
I am an ordained reverend... I work for and elementary school elementary that offers a yoga elective class to the students... I, like many people thought it was great and one day decided to participate.... while practicing with the class, I began to feel the euphoric, powerful feeling that I assume many practitioners experience... which is what hooks them.... I felt like a light bulb went on... I thought, "Wow... this must be from God.... so many people can be blessed by this!".... I felt an excitement that I couldn't wait to share... After the class, I went to lunch.... as I was walking down the street, I asked God if Yoga was somehow a missing part of our Christian journey.... The Holy Spirit said to me, very loud and clear, "Yoga is not of God... it is witchcraft"... He went on to show me that the euphoric, powerful feeling was actually a demonic goddess spirit that I had invited in through the guided practice.... IT'S SCARED THE CRAP OUT OF ME!.... I instantly began to pray, rebuke, and bind in the mighty name of Jesus.... When I went back into school, I had to stay with the kids, but I didn't practice and I stood back and prayed to myself..... I felt the instructor felt the spiritual resistance in the room.... She seemed a bit agrivated...

There is no such thing as christian yoga. It is an exclusively hindu practice given to mankind by Lord Shiva who is adiyogi i.e the first yogi. It was later adopted by Buddhism and jainism.

As a neutral person, I wonder what is actually demonic here? People getting into spiritual yoga practices or something preventing them from getting into or staying in it.
There are 2 parts to yoga, (1) the physical and (2) the spiritual, with all the "om" and "namaste" crap. The first part is good for stretching and becoming limber but the second part literally opens the portal to the demonic world inviting them in. If you don't believe in demons and black magic etc then of course you won't believe this but I've seen demonic possession with my own eyes. It's very real but the first thing Satan did is convince people that he doesn't exist so that no one takes this stuff seriously. Btw I'm not a Christian.
@@safi456 There are demonic possessions, I'm not opposed to the idea but associating that with yoga is baseless. Most of the demonic possessions happen among people who have nothing to do with yoga. They are living their day-to-day lives. And also a portion of them are the ones who are religious and have been religiously going to Church and stuff. I'm into paranormal stuff and I'm still to hear of a person who got possessed by a demon because of yoga. I'm doing yoga since 2015 and it seems to me that probably some Christian made this big false claim to deter people from practicing something whose roots aren't "Christian" so to speak.
In the spirit world there is only light and dark, God and Satan. There really isn't any neutral, you just don't have any strong convictions on the matter since you're just learning more. a couple of years ago my wife's co-worker invited her to attend yoga classes after work ..I was reluctant at first for her to go but we both agreed as long as she doesnt participate in any type of meditation or ritual chanting stuff etc. it would be ok..she was just interested in doing the stretches etc. ..we both thought there would be no harm in that..boy were we wrong!! the first session she had was "good" she said she felt amazing ,revitalized with energy etc. and seemed to be a positive experience overall. However by the second and third session she started to feel a very strong sense of anxiety to the point she had to just get out of room and leave in the middle of class...but she blew it off and put it down to work related stress.. she didnt tell me about this until the next couple of nights when she started experiencing a overwhelming sense of fear an anxiety..and terrible nightmares..she couldn't go to sleep because of the fear. I had been sensing something was off with her as well.. when she finally told me, we both came to the realization that this was a demonic attack. Long story short we prayed and repented and the attacks stopped! Looking back at this there was clear warning signs that it was not good idea for her to go... even if you are thinking of just attending these classes for health / physical benefits... you are basically inviting and opening the door to a a demonic spiritual realm..where yoga has its origins.

I have studied Christianity and Hinduism in depth, and I don't even know where to start with this talk. First off, there is a huge difference between authentic Vedic spirituality and pseudo hinduism, which is basically new age. 99% of people practicing yoga in the west are following the new age version. "Yoked with the Universal Consciousness" This is not what the Bhagavad Gita teaches. The authentic view is PanENtheistic, not pantheistic. It talks about God as Supreme Personality all throughout the totality of the gita. Ie. God is greater than humans. He is transcendent and imminent in this view. There are many verses in the Bible that actually point to this as well. The goal is not to merge, you are a unique personality accoding to the gita. The actual goal is twofold. 1. To become Self realized (understand you are a spiritual being). 2. To serve God (Bhakti yoga). To understand it as "merging with universal consciousness" is the new age version of hinduism (which is not authentic hinduism). "Brahma they call it" No. You're getting that mixed up with "Brahman," which is completely different than Brahma. Brahman represents the totality of all that exists. Ie. Everything comes from God, and without God nothing would exist. In this way everything is a part of God, yet there is still distinction. "Brahma" is a deity. There are also deities in Christianity. Angels, demons etc. To say that they're all demonic is a false dialectic. In the same way you wouldn't say all beings in Christianity are angelic or demonic, it's the same thing in Hinduism. There is a nuanced combination. It's not black and white. And "yolking" can also be translated as "Union" btw. This is present in Christianity as well (John 17:21-22). If you study Eastern Orthodox Christianity and read tbe Church fathers you'll see that many of them talk about Union with God.
I have studied judaism, christianity, hinduism and islam also and I agree with u.. the concepts are same but told differently and it is wrong to "demonize" one religion and I can only call views like this "radical" because also this idea of rejecting "others" sounds demonic for me...it is as if God only waited yrs till jesus came to earth and peopel before died like this just lost as they couldnt beleive in jesus?? it only shows the fear and brain washed kind of thing .. though I beleive that every religion and ideology can be misused by some groups of society to mislead the others but by the end of the day in every religion God is supreme and the people on the side of God will be successful...this is internationally like this and shows me that logically it can only be like this as we all with our souls are same and created same... But I agree that there is more chance to be misguided with deity worship understanding or having a guru as a teacher... but then why christianism... islam is more easier as they dont follow any human as God or Son of God and directly emphesize u and only and only one God... so there is no chance to be misled by following islam than christianism! why we Godify and human to get disturbed with the idea??
You are amazing, thank you for the more in depth explanation of Hinduism with regards to the practice of yoga. However, true understanding of Christianity is missing here. What the world doesn't understand is their enemy. The devil, who is a liar, is a copy cat. His goal is to be like God and imitate him in all things, in this world we live in. I believe this is why you bring up what you think are "similarities." Nonetheless, I digress. When you truly dive into history and who Jesus truly is, you will see the truth and be able to separate him from the copy cat. The Bible cannot just be studied, it needs to be experienced through God's Holy Spirit. The Spirit of Truth. See, the big difference is that ONLY God holds ALL the Glory, not some. And angels and demons are not deities, they are NOT to be worshipped. Even angels have corrected men and let them know they are a fellow servant. Even God himself had to humble himself down and become a human to take the sins of the entire world on himself. It was the only way. That's why Jesus says, He is THE WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE, No one comes to the Father but through him. (John 14:6) Everything else is from the copy cat, unfortunately. I mean this in the most humblest way as I had been completely deceived along with everyone else at a certain point in their lives. These "gods" that you refer to, many are the same in different cultures with different names. The only one that stands out is Jesus Christ. (Look up Semiramis, Nimrod, Tammuz and the beginning of paganism). Although people always tend to make up a version of Jesus in their mind (this is dangerous and actually is the copy cat). The Bible shows us the true Character of Christ, who has always been with the Father and Holy Spirit from the beginning. No other deities, no others to be worshipped. The One true living God, That's it. It is also said that you cannot separate spirituality (or religion) from yoga. Therefore you would be doing a religious act practicing this if you are not careful. I'm not sure what Orthodox Christianity is, but I certainly do not put a title to my belief except to follow THE WAY that Jesus laid out for us. There are no repetitious prayers and chanting nor meditation when you are communing with the living God (I see Orthodox Christianity has a Jesus prayer, but Jesus never told us to do this repetitious chant). When the Bible says meditate, it is not meditation as Hinduism practices. We must look at the original language of the words written in the Bible or else we will fall prey to the copycat who likes to pervert truth into spirituality. Meditate means taking a scripture to God and asking him to clarify it for you, to help you with wisdom and understanding of the Word through his Holy Spirit, our helper. God looks at our hearts. We don't talk to our parents with chanting and meditation, we just talk to them. God doesn't want that, he wants a relationship with you. Lastly, God told us to test every spirit in the Bible. Because even the devil can show himself as the angel of light. Deception is easily done by the expert of lies. Th devil has been working on deceiving humans from the beginningof time, so he is not a novice at it (as seen in the book of Genesis) [1 John 4:1-5, 2 Corinthians 11:14]. I hope this helps you with making a distinction between true Christianity and all other religions, or at least start to dig for some truth before making comparisons that the world wants to show Christianity as, like the Roman Catholic Church and other denominations that do have deities besides God, which is false and from the copycat. I pray that all can put all bias aside, and the fact that you were born into some religious does not make it right, I wasn't born knowing the Lord. I had practised yoga years back when my faith was really shaky n never read the Bible, I attended few classes and I was good at it naturally, then I stopped, I praise God for that, and I remember poses that worship the sun, and Shiva indeed as mention in this video. But I did Belly dancing though, like not classes, but thru RUclips and lost a lot of weight, but I stopped after I had conviction thru Lord, that it is wrong. I also found out that it's from Middle Eastern, they actually do belly dance to worship a certain goddess and for fertility sake and also to entice men. So if there is any girls who think that Belly dancing is fine, You need to stop doing that at once. No to Yoga and Belly Dancing.

an Indian hindu here.. wanted to clarify a few things.. 1. your correct, literal meaning of word yoga in Sanskrit is "union". union with EVERYTHING, the universe. its not just a physical exercise or stretching, its multi-dimensional, it works on body, mind, life energy. Thank you for posting your testimony. Just watched a short video about the power/benefits of Yoga and its origins. Almost every comment was positive about it. As Christians in these perilous times, we are literally besieged on every side from innumerable false religions. Ive been listening to the Bible for a while and recently started back reading it instead. Can’t believe all that pops out! Reading/study makes a big difference in a firm foundation but our flesh is now spoiled to being spoon fed by audio. Hearing the word does help and is a great blessing but it takes spiritual discipline to read and study the word. Every true disciple of Jesus needs to be praying first for understanding and then reading His word. Many believers have no bibles but sadly, l have neglected mine. There’s no way to avoid these multitudinous voices of deception without knowing the truth. “Thy word l have hid in my heart that l might not sin against Thee!”
I believe that in any practice your intentions are the core. Not the religion or practice itself. Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism...... is just the way to practice your spirituality, if our intentions are not pure it can bring all the demons out , so I don't believe we need to blame religion itself or choose which one is truer or which one is gonna bring us closer to God. Same here, I tried multiple teachers, but my body would always cringe. Tried to force myself to like it, but gave up. I was wondering what was wrong with me as all my friends were obsessed by it and I was the only one that couldn't stand it... And not only yoga, most Indian related stuff have been always dark and impure to me (no offense to the Indian people, that's not what I mean).

My son connected up with a young woman who did yoga, etc,
He made a profession of faith in Jesus at the age of 11.
His girlfriend was a former Hindu and made images of goddesses. She claims she was a follower of Elkhart Tolle, but loved all belief systems, even Christianity.
They both did yoga together in the beginning. My son was a professional fitness trainer. He had more ways to de-stress and didn’t really need yoga.
He was with this girl for over a year. He was exploring his spirituality again so I was grateful. Unfortunately the stressors came from closing down his business due to lockdowns.
He suicided Feb 22, 2021. He was not suicidal.
Looking back I kept hoping he would return to his faith, and in a way I think he did. One month before he died, he confessed to our family how bad he was, but didn’t say what.
I prayed for him and I had to let God work on him. He really loved his partner, but I don’t think she was a Christian. In the end he told me that she was “playing the immigrant card” on him, that his Dad and sister didn’t believe him. Her brother was getting married in the summer and she was sending money back for his wedding. Due to lockdowns his business was closed, and he found a less substantially paying job. He was immature that way, but really stressed mentally and said he was so anxious. Hospitals were closed down and counselling was by ZOOM. Since he’d not been to church in sometime there was no one to call, but most of them were closed down except by Zoom. He was a good guy. Worked twenty years in his business after university. So much pressure on him. They planned to go to church when things opened up.
Probably it was too much.
I miss him terribly. I’m grateful he gave his life to the Lord, and he tried to help his sick Dad for years.
Anyway, I think that Yoga religion just didn’t have the power of God in it, by the name of Jesus.

Exactly, the lady that conduct our exercise classes likes to utter some hindu words and I stopped taking her classes. She has multiple sclerosis because of the form she does ( not in my class ), she got it straighten through surgery and now she is back to square one.

Can I add that I was going to this prayer chapel at this church when God seemingly amplified this chanting sound..ahummmm. I opened my eyes and this man was sitting on the floor in some kind of pose with his hands under his chin like praying hands. I exited immediately. I am also an ex certified yoga instructor. During the pandemic I didn't want to gain weight after being laid off work and I had just had a major back surgery the year prior so I was looking for gentle exercise when I found yoga. It helped me more than the back surgery did I lost 30 lbs and more fit than I've ever been before in my life and I fell in love. That was 4 years ago. About a year ago I didn't understand why the yoga wasn't working I was depressed I was more anxious than I had ever been and I was very very confused I couldn't keep anything straight in my mind and I couldn't understand why. One day I was meditating and I literally felt like I had reached enlightenment. A total out of body experience but at the same time I was still looking through my third eye and I saw a spirit figure whom I thought was God come walking toward my third eye. It wasn't until later when I was reading my Bible and ran across the verse that says Satan masquerades as an angel of Light that I realized it was not God I saw and everything related to yoga was immediately stopped and removed from my home. That was about 6 months ago and I have not done yoga since. What I realized is this. How yoga is brought to us in Western culture says it's just physical exercise however having immersed myself totally into that lifestyle I can tell you that because it was originally created as part of Hindu religion as as worship to the gods and every single yoga pose is a worship position to one or another of their 300 million Gods there is no way to separate the spiritual part from the rest of it. Please take this as a warning from personal experience Christians need to run from yoga❤

I also started practicing during Covid and I decided to take it very seriously and decided to live as conscious as possible. The change was truly incredible and my vibrations were extremely high. My awareness and intuition were on another level and I soon started trying to manifest and I literally received everything I asked for. I started reading multiple books at the same time and my speed and comprehension astounded myself. Happily I started thirsting for the Bible and I started to believe in a way I never had before. I ended up stopping because it was almost too powerful. I just wasn’t sure where all this power was coming from and I was afraid I could be going down the wrong path.
The other day I was watching “ the chosen” with my kids and Simon the zealot was praying and then started to do some of the breath work I used to do. I was astounded because I couldn’t believe a Jew at that time would be doing some of the same stuff. It made me wonder how this tradition started in their religion.
I never had a bad experience and it was definitely hard to stop something that made me feel like I could do anything I put my mind to. But knowing for a fact the existence of evil I decided I better play it safe. Truthfully, I’m still conflicted.

In my daughter's elementary school they introduced it. Thankfully my daughter had known about it through my knowledge and she refused to do it. When they contacted me I fully supported her so they couldn't force her. We have to teach our kids at home and not let these people indoctrination come in to our home.

This literally happened to me when I was in middle school! I was trying to get into stretching to get more fit and flexible, but I kept having this disruptive thought coming to my mind telling me to stop. I just couldnt continue because this thought was SO pervasive. Thats when I learned yoga was the worship of other gods, and I been trying to tell people ever since.. but some dont believe me. God has kept us from great danger-- praise Him!

Brother Vlad. Thank you. I have almost got into yoga with advice from a friend years ago for my stretching muscles . But I have always been a true believer in Christ. The urge to do yoga has presented itself to me many times through the years. But something always held me back and I just believed it to be laziness to take on such a structured lifestyle. But now I know thanks to you telling this truth that it was always my Lord holding me back and away from this evil. As a matter of fact it was just this week that I thought of starting it because I restarted exercises. I homeschooled years ago. My children didn't go to a school until they went to college and they both came to me individually after starting college to thank me for homeschooling them. That lifestyle was a true blessing and I'd do it again. No regrets.

My brother just told me some women at his job were teaching the elderly to do yoga and taught them "warrior poses," and it's completely demonic. Stretches and exercise is fine. But under the guise of "yoga" is a no-go to me.

I was doing yoga for years, I was even leaning into New Age, meditating, trying to open my chakras, believing in reincarnation. After so many years being away from God, I finally heard his calling and came back to him. What a comfort in knowing that my Father in heaven loves me and saved me.
I was tired all the time, very low energy physically and mentally. Just as I started getting into this new age healing as a last resort that’s when I got diagnosed with cancer, so everything was put on stop. Your last sentence “loves me and saved me”, made my eyes water. I was saved from entering this demonic world. I didn’t see it back then, now I do. I’m not a Christian but totally recognise that you’re right: before the lockdown last year I did yoga regularly but started to notice a weird sulphurous smell from the mats that no one else noticed. When the yoga stopped I felt in my body a deep knowing that it wasn’t a good thing to do it felt it was keeping me in a weird energy somehow even though at the time my mind was telling me I was relaxed and physically healthy because of it. Never doing it again!

I have heard several people reporting of smelling sulfurous odors whenever they encountered demonic presence.

The pain is GONE and I am free PRAISE THE LIVING GOD. I was trying every thing under the sun for my pain other than looking to Jesus to help deliver me and heal me and my pain was a physical manifestation of all of those practices. I was cured from depression and anxiety that I have had for 14 years that everyone and every other church said that I would just be that way forever… THIS IS REAL STUFF. You are so correct. As a Christian, I became a yoga instructor for health reasons to understand yoga. Needless to say, my instructor in the class and I clashed throughout the instruction. Thanks for this comment! Actually I'm Christian and I've began practicing Yoga for 6 years ago. I feel very good with those physical exercises and with the meditation, but I get so insecure and confused when I hear a lot of Christians telling Yoga is demonic. My Yoga teacher is such a kind and peaceful person. Since I've begun with this I've stopped thinking on sex on a wishful way and see it as a sacred gift of God which needs to be done with respect to the creator. I even stopped to masturbate and try to remain with a pure mind and heart. I don't understand why it should be bad to oneself.

Yes to everything. I trained as a yoga teacher and a prenatal yoga teacher and I found myself constantly being pulled away from practicing and teaching, even when I wanted to do it, I just couldn't. Thank God.

When I was 16 I was on an acid trip by myself and saw an image of buddha in my closet. That gave me a desire to look more into eastern philosophy. I also was doing yoga and began to have spiritual experiences.
I was hungry for spiritual encounters , that I would wake up at 4am everyday to practice yoga sometimes chanting, meditating, opening up chakras, and listening to eastern teachings to enlighten myself, getting high on psychedelic drugs to find my purpose.
But the only one who could fufill my spiritual hunger and identity was Jesus. I used to think Christians were ignorant, hypocritical and narrow minded. Even my dad would warn me of that yoga had demonic orgin, but I thought he was just too religious. Pride is what covered my eyes and decieved me to believe lies from the devil.
I thank God for taking me out of darkness into His glorious light. I was blind but now I see! Thank you, Jesus. There is only one way to the Father, and the Word of God is Truth.
After reflecting on trauma and resentment I had over certain people in my life, I realized I needed to change the way I thought and felt to really grow. Yoga and meditation and drugs and worldly philosophy does not change a person's heart. At best it suppresses the symptoms, but God is the only Healer and lover of my soul. He is the one who changed my desires and my thoughts to be conformed by His Spirit. Once I realized how rich in grace God was to forgive my offenses, it was easy to forgive the people who had hurt me.
God saw that I wanted to change but was not sure where to go from there. One night in my dream i asked God if He existed and the Lord made His appearance in front of me in a Glorious Light. I saw clouds of darkness scatter away just as quickly. The sin that defiled me left along with it. And I never felt so clean and pure as I did in His presence. That is when I understood how much in need of Him I was. When I woke up I got on my knees and surrendered my all to live for Him. Because I wanted to know Him more and more. And since then He has proved Himself faithful and merciful every day and every night.
I also stopped yoga among other things. I had asked Him how he felt about yoga the next day and He led me to watch the testimonies of many redeemed people that used to practice yoga but claimed it was evil. Then for my own personal experience I tried to justify it by doing it for stretches poses but afterwards I would experience a sharp pain in my hip that I never had before, so i took this as a sign to stop.

Let me provide a perspective from the Hindus the actual original practitioners of the tradition.
- Yoga is an Indic/dharmic/ Hindu practice.
- yoga as it is done in the west is less than 1% of the actual tradition itself.
- it is a spiritual tradition with a physical component, which is what the Westerners gleamed onto.
- Hindus do not believe in proselytization unlike Christians, and do not want people to become practitioners of their faith. Instead most Hindus want people to
continue in whatever spiritual path aligns with their family and culture.
- his whole Demon thing is actually quite ridiculous from an Indian perspective. You can have higher spiritual experiences with these practices, but they require years and years and years of discipline and practice Not a couple of yoga classes or even years of a western style practice would create effects in the system to that degree. If you have had experiences, that is your own psychological issues, not innate affects of yoga.
Most Hindus would encourage devout Christians to not practice yoga. All Hindus want to do is be left alone to practice their own faith, and not have it adulterated and stolen by the west. And then for the Westerners to turn around and criticize and misrepresent it.
I'm christian. Been practicing yoga regularly for 6 years now. And yoga really help me improve my health. I can"t thank you enough for that. And yes, I know hindus/buddhists worship gods. But I don't think they're demonic. Never crossed my mind to have such a judgmental thought like that. I respect your belief. The idea the the gods and goddesses of religion outside of Christian faith is not demonic is faulty. Years ago I started learning about this and I felt so convicted by God to stop doing yoga. I was embarrassed to tell anyone because I know to a lot of people it would probably sound crazy. I'm so glad that you have the courage to come forward and expose the true meaning behind it.

Indians has access to that divine consciousness of god as we all do. Praise God I found this video! I started a new class today, I'm a junior in high school, one of the requirements to pass the class is to do yoga. I spoke to my teacher and asked him if I had to do yoga. He told me that I had to participate and if I didn't it would lower my grade. I told him that yoga was against my religion and I wouldn't be able to do it. He straight up told me, "How is yoga and walking against your religion?" (we also have to do these walks around the campus). I was really shocked at the way he spoke to me, it was like he was mocking me, but either way I explained to him that there are certain poses that praise other gods. He said, okay and as I awkwardly left the classroom, he asked me what my religion was. I told him I was Christian. He used to be a Christian too.

I took a yoga class for the first time about 5 years ago. I remember them telling us to empty our minds while meditating. I also remember feeling like I was high afterwards. I now know that yoga is not for Christians. First of all, the bible tells us to "Meditate on the word day and night" and I know that emptying my mind will give the devil an opportunity to enter my thoughts. I have not done yoga since then. It saddens me how many Christians are clueless to this.

I left yoga and was in Hatha yoga and Kundalini yoga for twenty years and was delivered by Christ. I was involved in kundalini yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan and lived on a yoga ashram when Christ called me out. I left yoga in 2011 and Christ freed me. I started in college for stress release and led me to the new age and Kundalini Yoga where I got involved with Yogi Bhajan in 2009. I have been free from new age and yoga because Christ delivered me.

Personal opinion. Hinduism about the universe fits better in current theory of the universe
Four years I was attending church while I was also taking weekly yoga classes (sometimes twice a week, I also was going away on yoga retreats). Like you said I thought I was just practicing yoga for my health, although over the years something continued to niggle at me (my Father in Heaven never left me nor forsook me), I just shoved wee niggles aside telling myself the yoga was just for exercise and that I was strong enough to stand against the other stuff involved in yoga practice (even though I was chanting mantras at the time). I dont attend yoga classes anymore (for three or four years now). I still use some of the yoga stretches to keep myself fit and flexable, I dont practice mantras anymore. By the grace of God I still attend Church and understand clearer that my God provides me a peace that passes all understanding (possibly a peace that I thought yoga could provide and I was looking for). I bear no ill will against my yoga teacher who was more decieved than I was. When writting this, I realsied, in all the years since that time I haven't prayed for her. I will pray now that she sees the mistake she is making and how decieved she has become and pray that she sees and accepts the truth of our Lord Jesus Christ and what he has done for us and recieves a peace that passes all understanding.

Meditating and breathing on spiritual way without Christ is spiritually dangerous. Been there, done that. There was no one more open than me for Eastern spiritual practices but I was started manifesting horrendous things. I was also attacked by evil spirits. Additionally, I was attached by insufferable intrusive thoughts and fear almost all the time so that I could not function. Lastly, I was able to defend myself from my real life enemies who were attacking me in various ways because I felt sorry for them as I felt in oneness with them. I cried Jesus for help and I have been living in peace since then. So to eastern practices and New age- no thanks and never again. They open portals to the demonic that enters your chakras.

I was in that oneness and due to it was not able to defend myself from enemies as I saw myself in oneness with them. Also, I was attacked by certain energies that entered my chakras. Additionally, I was attacked by insufferable intrusive thoughts and fears all the time that I couldn't function normally. That was until I asked Jesus for protection. I agree. I did yoga for several years as a part of my physical work out, 2 times a week. I did enjoy a stretch and a relaxation part of it, but still you can feel that there's more to it and strangely enough, the atmosphere was mostly toxic in the class, even though most students were very spiritual and new age. Pass. True connection with God is what all is about.

During pandemic I started to practice Yoga, I downloaded application and every morning for an hour was ‘working out’ i wanted to be in shape mentally and physically.. After some time I experienced very unusual dark dreams that felt very real.. It wasn’t nightmares, it was something more.. I literally physically and emotionally was suffering during the nights.. Yes I feel the same about Yoga. So many people I know are obsessed with it and I was pushed into trying it many times but it has always felt wrong to me. I am an ordained reverend... I work for and elementary school elementary that offers a yoga elective class to the students... I, like many people thought it was great and one day decided to participate.... while practicing with the class, I began to feel the euphoric, powerful feeling that I assume many practitioners experience... which is what hooks them.... I felt like a light bulb went on... I thought, "Wow... this must be from God.... so many people can be blessed by this!".... I felt an excitement that I couldn't wait to share... After the class, I went to lunch.... as I was walking down the street, I asked God if Yoga was somehow a missing part of our Christian journey.... The Holy Spirit said to me, very loud and clear, "Yoga is not of God... it is witchcraft"... He went on to show me that the euphoric, powerful feeling was actually a demonic goddess spirit that I had invited in through the guided practice.... IT'S SCARED THE CRAP OUT OF ME!.... I instantly began to pray, rebuke, and bind in the mighty name of Jesus.... When I went back into school, I had to stay with the kids, but I didn't practice and I stood back and prayed to myself..... There are 2 parts to yoga, (1) the physical and (2) the spiritual, with all the "om" and "namaste" crap. The first part is good for stretching and becoming limber but the second part literally opens the portal to the demonic world inviting them in. If you don't believe in demons and black magic etc then of course you won't believe this but I've seen demonic possession with my own eyes. a couple of years ago my wife's co-worker invited her to attend yoga classes after work ..I was reluctant at first for her to go but we both agreed as long as she doesnt participate in any type of meditation or ritual chanting stuff etc. it would be ok..she was just interested in doing the stretches etc. ..we both thought there would be no harm in that..boy were we wrong!! the first session she had was "good" she said she felt amazing ,revitalized with energy etc. and seemed to be a positive experience overall. However by the second and third session she started to feel a very strong sense of anxiety to the point she had to just get out of room and leave in the middle of class...but she blew it off and put it down to work related stress.. she didnt tell me about this until the next couple of nights when she started experiencing a overwhelming sense of fear an anxiety..and terrible nightmares..she couldn't go to sleep because of the fear. I had been sensing something was off with her as well.. when she finally told me, we both came to the realization that this was a demonic attack. Long story short we prayed and repented and the attacks stopped! Looking back at this there was clear warning signs that it was not good idea for her to go...
even if you are thinking of just attending these classes for health / physical benefits... you are basically inviting and opening the door to a a demonic spiritual realm..where yoga has its origins.

I have studied Christianity and Hinduism in depth, and I don't even know where to start with this talk.
First off, there is a huge difference between authentic Vedic spirituality and pseudo hinduism, which is basically new age. 99% of people practicing yoga in the west are following the new age version.
"Yoked with the Universal Consciousness"
This is not what the Bhagavad Gita teaches. The authentic view is PanENtheistic, not pantheistic. It talks about God as Supreme Personality all throughout the totality of the gita. Ie. God is greater than humans. He is transcendent and imminent in this view. There are many verses in the Bible that actually point to this as well. The goal is not to merge, you are a unique personality accoding to the gita. The actual goal is twofold. 1. To become Self realized (understand you are a spiritual being). 2. To serve God (Bhakti yoga). To understand it as "merging with universal consciousness" is the new age version of hinduism (which is not authentic hinduism).

No. You're getting that mixed up with "Brahman," which is completely different than Brahma. Brahman represents the totality of all that exists. Ie. Everything comes from God, and without God nothing would exist. In this way everything is a part of God, yet there is still distinction. "Brahma" is a deity.
There are also deities in Christianity. Angels, demons etc. To say that they're all demonic is a false dialectic. In the same way you wouldn't say all beings in Christianity are angelic or demonic, it's the same thing in Hinduism. There is a nuanced combination. It's not black and white.
And "yolking" can also be translated as "Union" btw. This is present in Christianity as well (John 17:21-22). If you study Eastern Orthodox Christianity and read tbe Church fathers you'll see that many of them talk about Union with God.

You are amazing, thank you for the more in depth explanation of Hinduism with regards to the practice of yoga. However, true understanding of Christianity is missing here. What the world doesn't understand is their enemy. The devil, who is a liar, is a copy cat. His goal is to be like God and imitate him in all things, in this world we live in. I believe this is why you bring up what you think are "similarities." Nonetheless, I digress. When you truly dive into history and who Jesus truly is, you will see the truth and be able to separate him from the copy cat. The Bible cannot just be studied, it needs to be experienced through God's Holy Spirit. The Spirit of Truth. See, the big difference is that ONLY God holds ALL the Glory, not some. And angels and demons are not deities, they are NOT to be worshipped. Even angels have corrected men and let them know they are a fellow servant. Even God himself had to humble himself down and become a human to take the sins of the entire world on himself. It was the only way. That's why Jesus says, He is THE WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE, No one comes to the Father but through him. (John 14:6) Everything else is from the copy cat, unfortunately. I mean this in the most humblest way as I had been completely deceived along with everyone else at a certain point in their lives. These "gods" that you refer to, many are the same in different cultures with different names. The only one that stands out is Jesus Christ. (Look up Semiramis, Nimrod, Tammuz and the beginning of paganism). Although people always tend to make up a version of Jesus in their mind (this is dangerous and actually is the copy cat). The Bible shows us the true Character of Christ, who has always been with the Father and Holy Spirit from the beginning. No other deities, no others to be worshipped. The One true living God, That's it. It is also said that you cannot separate spirituality (or religion) from yoga. Therefore you would be doing a religious act practicing this if you are not careful. I'm not sure what Orthodox Christianity is, but I certainly do not put a title to my belief except to follow THE WAY that Jesus laid out for us. There are no repetitious prayers and chanting nor meditation when you are communing with the living God (I see Orthodox Christianity has a Jesus prayer, but Jesus never told us to do this repetitious chant). When the Bible says meditate, it is not meditation as Hinduism practices. We must look at the original language of the words written in the Bible or else we will fall prey to the copycat who likes to pervert truth into spirituality. Meditate means taking a scripture to God and asking him to clarify it for you, to help you with wisdom and understanding of the Word through his Holy Spirit, our helper. God looks at our hearts. We don't talk to our parents with chanting and meditation, we just talk to them. God doesn't want that, he wants a relationship with you. Lastly, God told us to test every spirit in the Bible. Because even the devil can show himself as the angel of light. Deception is easily done by the expert of lies. Th devil has been working on deceiving humans from the beginningof time, so he is not a novice at it (as seen in the book of Genesis) [1 John 4:1-5, 2 Corinthians 11:14]. I hope this helps you with making a distinction between true Christianity and all other religions, or at least start to dig for some truth before making comparisons that the world wants to show Christianity as, like the Roman Catholic Church and other denominations that do have deities besides God, which is false and from the copycat. I pray that all can put all bias aside, and the fact that you were born into some religious does not make it right, I wasn't born knowing the Lord. I had practised yoga years back when my faith was really shaky n never read the Bible, I attended few classes and I was good at it naturally, then I stopped, I praise God for that, and I remember poses that worship the sun, and Shiva indeed as mention in this video. But I did Belly dancing though, like not classes, but thru RUclips and lost a lot of weight, but I stopped after I had conviction thru Lord, that it is wrong. I also found out that it's from Middle Eastern, they actually do belly dance to worship a certain goddess and for fertility sake and also to entice men. So if there is any girls who think that Belly dancing is fine, You need to stop doing that at once. No to Yoga and Belly Dancing.

1. your correct, literal meaning of word yoga in Sanskrit is "union". union with EVERYTHING, the universe. its not just a physical exercise or stretching, its multi-dimensional, it works on body, mind, life energy.
PLEASE DO NOT PRACTICE these silly "hot yoga", power yoga, etc fads, you may end up doing more harm than good to yourself. it is not a fitness routine. there is a authentic branch of yoga called "UPA YOGA" that is only for health benefits, please look into that and practice only that for health and fitness..
2. many poses are attributed to certain DEITIES, dont paint them as demons or devil. they are not gods, not evil entities, they are deities that help in a specific aspect of a person's spiritual growth, nothing more nothing less..

4. not to be rude or anything, but i do not care if people in the west have a bad opinion about yoga, frankly western countries are distorting yoga so much that its best not to practice it at all. seriously, these yoga fads need to be stopped. its ridiculous. people will end up harming themselves with these fads.. im not even gonna say try finding an authentic yoga guru and get initiated into one authentic kriya. its very unlikely for western countries to find a true authentic yoga guru, its best to not practice at all.

you could be saying this out of compassion, but saying all other culture's spiritual ways (that are several millennia's older) are wrong, is down right insulting..
please stop with this conversion mindset and let people be what they are. Christians need not convert everyone in the world, even out of compassion.

Thank you for posting your testimony. Just watched a short video about the power/benefits of Yoga and its origins. Almost every comment was positive about it. As Christians in these perilous times, we are literally besieged on every side from innumerable false religions. Ive been listening to the Bible for a while and recently started back reading it instead. Can’t believe all that pops out! Reading/study makes a big difference in a firm foundation but our flesh is now spoiled to being spoon fed by audio. Hearing the word does help and is a great blessing but it takes spiritual discipline to read and study the word. Every true disciple of Jesus needs to be praying first for understanding and then reading His word. Many believers have no bibles but sadly, l have neglected mine. There’s no way to avoid these multitudinous voices of deception without knowing the truth. “Thy word l have hid in my heart that l might not sin against Thee!”
I believe that in any practice your intentions are the core. Not the religion or practice itself. Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism...... is just the way to practice your spirituality, if our intentions are not pure it can bring all the demons out , so I don't believe we need to blame religion itself or choose which one is truer or which one is gonna bring us closer to God. Its not religion or practice we need to change to serve God and get rid of demons it's our own moral compas. Look inside your heart and see if your intentions are truly good. Then, any religion we practice will serve in the best purest way. There are no demons, just us, and God is one. 🙏❤️

How could it be that all those people in eastern cultures should be born into something that is different and inherently evil? Yet actually those cultures are filled with kindness and gentleness. I think it comes down to intention.

I am delivered from this...When I was a in highschool until college I keep doing this Yoga to calm myself without knowing I was already been deceived...1 month ago I was delivered from this and we are all shocked too because my hand automitically moved like how I used to make myself calm before and the demon's name is Shiva. Same here, I tried multiple teachers, but my body would always cringe. Tried to force myself to like it, but gave up. I was wondering what was wrong with me as all my friends were obsessed by it and I was the only one that couldn't stand it... And not only yoga, most Indian related stuff have been always dark and impure to me (no offense to the Indian people, that's not what I mean).
