- (Planespotting video #15. To see all my planespotting videos, visit • Planespotting videos ) Here's a video of widebody landings and departures at DFW, including an A380 go-around! Narrowbody and cargo aircraft views come after (around the 13-minute mark). You'll see mostly AA aircraft, but also some foreign widebodies. Hope you enjoy!
great video, I didn't start coming to DFW to film and spot until just last year so I never had a chance to see American 757/767 or the Qantas A380, this makes me feel like I was there!
Qantas is my favourite Airlines in the world above all none of it's big jet has ever crashed it's such a safest airline to travel with.
Agreed, I always take the Qantas route when flying from Australia to the US. It's 15 hours from Sydney to Dallas but its great :)
Very nice video! Perhaps the best plane spotting video from Dallas!
Haha, I highly doubt that! But there probably aren't many 4K vids out yet.
THx mate! Loved it! RUclips, passionate peeps like yourself and beautiful technology make it possible! Just amazing! Love it! :)
Amazing video! Good to know that Dallas Fortworth is a large airport can take jumbos and not just a lot of small regional jets like bak in the 80s
An amazing traffic :D great vid man
Fun fact: Dallas Love Field was the main airport before DFW was built.
you are awesome dude, great video including chararectiristics of the operations of the plane like the destiny theh came from, and some others.
You are very welcome! Every plane has a destiny :)
thanks, more videos like thi would be great
Awesome video as always. I've enjoyed your channel for a few years now (especially the airport tours). Have you considered doing Dallas Love Field since you already covered Houston's Hobby Airport?
i think that Dallas is a great hub of AA ...!! great video !! American airway trafic is amazing...greets from Toulouse ( Airbus birth place)!!!
Great Video!
Excellent work liked and subscribed -:)
Dunno why, but I love the chrome-bodied AA's you have over the pond.
Yes, me too! They are quickly disappearing so I like to record them, even if they're not widebodies. Some of them might come to Manchester--I'm not sure. They're AA's old livery and were around for decades, including in the UK. But now they appear mostly limited to domestic routes.
Yeah, I was actually at the airport myself today, and was thinking the same thing that the chrome bodied AA planes were getting more and more scarce.
But I got to say I love the flag painted tail on the new ones. Specially when you see it taking off and landing.
But think about this possibility too,, what about a chrome bodied AA plane, with the painted tail? Now that would be awesome!
great video
like it excellent video sir make more 4k videos
nice video
Nice Vídeo!
Top with the quality
Awesome spotting video. What cam?
Awesome video! What size lens were you using for this video?
I have no idea :D It's a Panasonic HC-VX870K, so I just used the lens that it comes with. (It's not detachable.)
a very good plane Vide0
Hey everyone, if there's no 4K playback option available, come back to the video later--it takes RUclips a little while to process the video and enable it.
Oh good, looks like there's now a 4K option. It took a couple hours after the video uploaded.
What camera/lens did you use?
Are you spotting at Founders Plaza?
Why did Emirates stop flying the A380 to/from DFW? Great vid btw
The news is that they'll bring it back in the fall. This article suggests that the DFW-DXB A380 route was only half full some months: www.star-telegram.com/news/business/aviation/sky-talk-blog/article53118525.html
Yep, seasonal load factors.
Sadly, DFW is getting the 773 for the foreseeable future. "What Sir Tim Clark, giveth, Sir Tim taketh away".
Sir Tim has to make decisions in the best interests of his airline I guess.....he's got a great track record of success at Emirates. Hopefully the A380 will be back in due course.
curious... What do you do when approached by security? I found out Denver Int'l doesn't like people to take the back roads to plane spot.
You should only spot where you're allowed to--this is a public planespotting area :)
I miss going there; moved away 7 years ago. I remember when the observation area was on the south side and the planes would taxi within 30 feet of the parking lot. 9/11 ruined that.
I had a go around there back in 1991. Fogged in landing, and a MD pulling onto the runway. Oops, power up.
Hey, from wich position/address are landing videos?
These are from the Founder's Plaza area. Thanks for watching!
4K ??
That's Las Colinas at 19:14, isn't it?
Super Klass
How ya know where they arrive from
I normally use FlightAware for that, and sometimes FlightRadar24. Both are very cool sites. Thanks for watching!
1:25 the former Singapore Air jet looks very narrow for how wide the wingspan is.
what size lens
I live here :)
Speedy :D same
I'm sorry
Why was the go around?
"DUDE! CAYMAN'S COMING FROM MIAMI!!" Guess you have some friends with you when you took this video.
Haha, I didn't know them at all! There were 3 teenagers who were really into it--sounded like they have a big instagram following. I hope they watch the video and recognize their voices :)
how can to/from be CDG/MAD if it's landing in DFW?
Kevin O'Hara Good question! That means it arrived in DFW from CDG, and will depart to Madrid. So the route is CDG-DFW-MAD. I leave out the DFW because it's implied that the plane is arriving there.
Thanks for explaining to me. I should have figured that out.
Why did they go around?
3:57 and --- butter
ahhh yes... :)
10/10 landing, would recommend
