- I show you around Bud n' Mary's marina, which my family has owned for over 40 years. It's located in Islamorada, Florida Keys at mile marker 79.8. This is where I grew up at and people from all over the world come here to fish both offshore and inshore.

Great tour. Bud n' Mary's is a landmark. A lot of fishing history there. So glad I had the opportunity to film you, Your Dad, Capt Scott, Capt Walter and we can forget Capt Anne over the years. It was a pleasure. Catch a BIG one!

Probably the coolest thing your parents could own is one of the largest and most popular marinas in the keys. Must have been fun growing up there.

I have that quote in my office but from the original sign so I take it she did not make the storm. Did not know it was from Teddy. That quote is why I bought a brand new 25 cuddy 4 years ago, no way was I going to sit there old thinking I never had that boat. The old sign was better with the corrections carved into it.

I never put two and two together. But we used to stop by there all the time to watch the charters come in. My dad lived down on Big Coppitt Key for years when I was growing up.

My grandparents lived in Islamorada. I remember constantly being at Bud N Marys as a kid. I'm sure you've met Mary Jane and Ron OBrien at some point. Crazy to stumble across this channel.

The rooms are very nice and large. They are well worth the $. The rooms have a home like feel .. Quilts and all. It's also nice that you feel like you can trust your stuff won't be stolen from your vehicle.

I use to go here as a little kid 40 years ago. Loved watching the boats come in with all the fish. Hank Brown and Billie were our guides.

Bud n' Mary's is a great place. I've been there many times going back to the 1970s. We fished with Capt. Perry Scuderi and had a great time. Unfortunately, not all my trips were great. Two days prior to the Scuderi trip, we fished with Capt. Rick Stanz. Capt. Stanz ignored us the entire day. Not one word of welcome. He had no bait. He gave us one word answers to questions. It was like we didn't deserve to be in his boat. I tipped him, but I shouldn't have.

I did fish with Jose once as a kid. We were doing a trip on the head boat at the marina taking out a bunch of kids and he was one of the volunteers to help.

Nice tour of Bud n' Mary's. My Dad docked his Bertram 31 at Bud n' Mary's for many years. Video brings back a lot of great memories. Hope all is well with your Dad and uncle Scott.

As a FL native, but not a conch, Ive been to the Keys over 100 times. My Dad used to have his boat at the Caloosa Cove years ago and we piloted by BnM many times. Always great to see a landmark on my drives down as well. Thanks for sharing and tight lines!

Great memories. I grew up going to The Moorings. We went twice a year for 20+ years and I used to rent boats from Bud N Mary’s and Cobra Marine when I wasn’t windsurfing with Hubert or getting in trouble at the Tiki Bar at Holiday Isle. My wife grew up going to the Anglers Club in Key Largo... we still visit her parents down there. Islamorada is the best!!!

I had no idea Bud and Mary’s was their family business ... I had my best fishing charter ever at Bud and Mary’s ... we caught more Mahi and we deserved ... it as awesome
Great tour! I got my PADI cert at your dive shop around1981-82ish. Dive master had me do my fist dive as a certified rec diver with him looking for a plane wreck that had some drugs supposedly in it! Blasted through my tank in about 20 minutes i was swimming so hard! I have a pic of me somewhere with the guy who ran the shop standing out front with the shark!
Great place,we always stop and go up the roof and look at the fish. Make sure you stop in a buy something, support the local business
