Fire Lake Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band Cover

“Fire Lake” is probably one of my top favorite songs by Bob Seger. Like many a great song that is a part of my ‘favorites’ list, I like to read up on them to interpret what the lyrics mean. Fire Lake seems to be a symbolic place where people can go to create a fresh start. A place you can run away to and forget your troubles. When I listen to this song, that’s how it makes me feel. It makes me want to run away to this whimsical lake and get away from everything, hell I’ll even wear the gypsy leathers! Just keep driving and don’t look back! Personally, I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of hearing Seger’s voice. There’s a good handful of his songs that I cover and this would be in my top 3 to sing & play.
