How did i not know about this weekly content? will get notifications from now on. Thanks !
Beat that subscribe button like it owes you money!!!
Yeah, I think Chad Ashley nailed it on the AI commercial. In an age of dropping ROI & click-through rates for ads, companies that try to push mindless AI content to ad-fatigued customers are going to be surprised how little growth awaits them.
Maybe someday they'll realize that making pretty images is only a small part of a designer's job.
Dude, motion isn't dying, it's being super charged. ✊
Usually the founder & CEO of a business is just that, nobody expects anything else. It is then a very pleasant surprise to see how good you are talking in front of a camera. I am not a motion graphics designer and I am allergic to any kind of self-promotion, but your flawless presentations every Monday, the objectivity you display while talking about the amazing but overhyped IA, and the opportunity to have a look at what's going on in this little corner of the creative world make me come back every week.
And yes, game changer is a cliché, but epic feels like the new awesome and it appears in your home page to describe your training. I can hear Homer laughing from his tomb. Business communication has some tacit rules that nobody seems to be able to avoid, yourself included. Apart from that, you highlight the word movement in the About section but when you have the opportunity to add the details, you say that you are the remedy to the RUclips videos. You then are saying at the same time that you are much more than a school, and much less. I don't think you are going to lose any customer because of that, but if your students won't be allowed to say something and the opposite if they work for a big company, shouldn't the teachers do the same?
The "sigma" and the "slay" killed me on the ai voice overs 🤣
I've got 3 gen-Z kids... I'm caught up on all the lingo.
Thanks for the update as always Joey. I saw some of these apps make the rounds on my feed.
forward festival is also coming to Vienna in october!
I keep thinking of the Beeple interview, in regards to this Toy R Us commercial..."if you think you're going to do less with AI, you're f***ed." THIS is one of those situations. Cringe. 😬 Nice Make Them Suffer tee though, homie! Just saw them in LA a few weeks ago. Good stuff! 🤘
Saw them open for Bad Omens, blew my mind. Incredible band.
@@joeykorenman hell yeah! Still haven’t seen Bad Omens live, but hopefully soon! 🤘
ElevenLabs is WAY ahead of Artlist in the AI VO race.
Just to be clear about Figma AI - teams are required to OPT OUT (not opt in as mentioned). Team admins also have the ability to disable the training on the teams projects, AND/OR disable the use of the AI utilities you mentioned. This has of course sparked a range of reactions, but at least the clarity and rollout of these AI features are being better handled than the Adobe disaster.
See ya next monday
i really like these videos, good way to start the week.
also im ngl to u, the ai voice lines made me cringe a bit hard
😅
skibidi
Mission accomplished.
Half Rez with be September 20th!
Can we let everyone know next Monday, Chris?
19 seconds in. Gotta be Masi Oka. He was at ILM on the prequel trilogy before Heroes in 2006.
He totally was - and not only that... he was still animating while working on the first season of Heroes. Only because he had set up the projects and they needed his help to complete the work. But arguably he is not quite as well know as the answer.
Re:Voiceover and inflection. Check out Eleven Labs, and do a piece on them, their STS Speech To Speech seems to offer the directability you mentioned was lacking, while providing a way to clone your own source voices an not rely on a set of pre-templated voices like Artlist has (I'm and Artlist subscriber, so no diss)
Just started the video, regarding your "quiz": Could it be Dick van Dyke? He worked with Lightwave 3D and I think he even did some effects on one episode of his own show...I`ll watch the rest now to find out... ;)
have nothing to say but here's a comment for the algorithm gods!
Bless up!
hi! Did you try relight in ComfyUI (stable)? Looks the same.. cheers )
Haven't tried ComfyUI yet... looks very cool.
A lot of these paid services are just using the same open source modules available in ComfyUI
I'm surprised u didn't talk about picture keyframes in runway gen3, that thing kills motion graphics
If stuff drops very late in the week we include it in the following video. We do these from start to finish on Fridays. Definitely a crazy new tool! Definitely not killing motion graphics.
“Is an Expression Session suitable for people who have been in the industry for a year? I heard that many people did not deliver the last project, hmm?”
It's a beast of a project! We don't currently require completing the final projects in order to earn the course credential, though.
And to answer your original question, I think it depends on how comfy you are with After Effects and how technical you like to get. It gets fairly deep into the coding weeds, so if that's your jam you'll love it. Definitely not for everyone.
This guys are pure pro AI stuff...
That was the fastest 20min! C u next week 🫸🏻🫷🏻
