    As a long time Honda owner who is now saving for an NSX and pouring through all of the NSX content on RUclips I am excited to find your channel. It’s great to find an adult owner who is not only interested in the NSX but also him track driving as I’ll be doing the same. The sheer amount of contents and quality of this channel looks amazing and I can’t wait to watch all of it.

      Welcome to the channel, thanks for your support, and good luck with your eventual NSX search! I feel obliged to point out that I probably represent a near-worst-case scenario with respect to things breaking on these cars, as a lot of my recent videos have been me fixing or preventatively fixing things. 😁

    Thank you so much for this video, Richard. I’m here as a subscriber, however accessed the video via a search for The Thermal Club as I’ve just read an article regarding the IndyCar AllStar race planned here next March. Since I’d never heard of this facility I wanted to find info regarding the circuit and as with other videos you’ve created, this is indeed quite informative and enjoyable. Although I’d prefer this AllStar event to be held at Indy since I’m in Indy, I look forward to seeing IndyCar racing at TTC as it looks like it will produce some exciting racing! Cheers!

      I'll be curious to watch that one. It's definitely a more technical track than most places on the IndyCar circuit so should be something different for-sure.

    I've been a big road tripper but just now am getting comfortable with tracks so following your channel has allowed me to find some tracks on my next trips. Thanks for the great content!

    Excellent video. I was way off in my guess of thinking that it was going to be something like Roebling Road.

      My 'blind' guess before I actually did the research was Zandvoort figuring it could be below sea level "because Netherlands". That or some obscure track in the middle east near the Dead Sea etc. I was entertained that I'd actually been to one of these extremes.

    Wow $125k initiation fee... my jaw is still open. I knew wealth inequality was a thing but damn

      I didn't want to get into the weeds in the video, but to clarify it's more of a deposit on the villa, which at a million or so, means that's in the realm of 'normal'. If/when you sell, you may be able to recoup ~70% of that initial fee according to membership services, so you aren't fully throwing away a nice Gallardo's worth of cash.

      @@LapoftheWorld well that’s a bit more reasonable of it goes toward the price of the house, in a way.

    Do you have to own a villa to use the race track

    • @LapoftheWorld
      @LapoftheWorld  3 года назад +2

      On an "any given day" basis I believe that's the case. That or you have to be a guest of an owner. Having said that, they do host events periodically where others can drive one or more of the circuits. To wit, I was able to drive South Palm with the NSX club.

      @@LapoftheWorld my dad owns a AMG GT 53 and he wants to take it to the track. We live 15 minutes away but we have no access but I’ve seen public people go without owning a villa

      @@kirkmarshall7033 Nice! I think I've seen where Merc/AMG have done events there. Worst case, you could shoot them an e-mail or call the desk. They were super helpful with all of my trivia questions while researching this video.
