thanks so much. explaining that it means there is a unique way of writing every vector in V as sums of U and W is a great way to explain the motivation behind defining this thing that my textbook seems to be neglecting to mention.
Why can't teachers explain it like this? I know it's been 5 years, but thank you very much for this video.
