Good content! Sport Mode is the quickest Driving mode on my 2021 Challenger Scat. Track mode is fun, but is for more restrcted situations like Auto Cross, mountain twisties, etc. I dont go to the track, so regular Scat works for me, better for on the street Muscle 💪. I would never use the transbreak...
Reason 2 is the main reason I only put it in Drag mode on the dragstrip. Makes the trips to the track a little more special too 😆 And I really appreciate the shoutout too

Man all converters go bad .. so imagine all that drag mode .. the switching back to normal … back and forth .. next thing you know you gonna need a transmission.. or converter .. but the mechanic is going to say transmission

Confused... the head mechanic at the dealer told me I can drive my 1320 in whatever mode I want, that's why it's there. He said it's not going in 8th gear unless I'm doing over 80....who do I believe ??
Someone who has owned the car for over 4 years and I’ll be honest a lot of mechanics at Dodge have not known what a 1320 is! Drag mode has adaptive learning capabilities so NO I wouldn’t drive in drag mode bc it can make drag mode “lazy” at the track trust me it’s been tested plenty of times but you can always pull a fuse and reset it
Is it possible to get this and the trans brake on a regular scat?? W the taser or something??

Hey, thanks for the video. I test drove a 2020 scat pack 1320 and it seemed very loose going down the road even when it wasn't in drag mode I know that the drag suspension is different Do you have any issues going into curves in the car feeling super loose and I never saw the drag light come on on the dash. Thanks

Hey, man. I’m about to get a 2020 1320 and since these cars don’t have sport mode like regular scat packs does it impact the performance in a street race negatively? Or would it give you an advantage using drag mode? Put a scat in sport mode vs a 1320 in drag mode, which would win?

I think one thing to mention is that after 2019 all scats got drive modes. So Track mode & Drag mode are the same… wide body scats does weight transfer in track mode as well. The Trans brake and Torque reserve aren’t in play when driving, those are launch assist features and only active during launch. So you can drive in drag mode, it’s the same as driving in track mode.

@@zaire.mg. simple things including rpm being higher for longer shift points/higher shift points, drag mode even allows for the active dampening system to soften in the front unlike regular scats only changing the rear end for traction or lack there of not being a dick or anything but they do different things and some similar
@@Toro704 you can’t claim drag mode shift points are higher than track mode without real numbers. You might be right on the front end suspension tho… I say might because I can’t find anywhere that says Track mode DOESNT effect the front end suspension. So I’ll give you that but that is also lowkey a launch feature

if you are on the street when its safe and u want to get good traction from light to light, don't you put it on drag mode because i thought drag mode helps transfer weight from the front to the rear?

I have a 2020 1320 in Hellraisin, well optioned too...Yeah. Drag mode should be called beast mode. Looks like you've tuned your car to exceed normal redline. How the engine holding up?

Good stuff, except Drag mode does not lock you out of 8th gear. In your video it dropped a gear because of how drag mode changes the shift points so you were not in the range of being in 8th. If you drive in drag mode you can shit into 8th gear no issues.
Hmmm I can’t lie it never allowed me into 8th but my car was also built and tuned and may have been a never got to that speed like you said

Question. How does it change the car when you turn the traction control off?
It allows full power to go to the wheels without the cars ECU trying to control wheel spin and how much power is to the ground

3 weeks 'daily driving' my 2021 '1320' running around the city in 'drag mode' on engine/trans, suspension and steering as well the instrumentation still shows 4 cylinder mode in green on the mpg cluster when let off throttle. So does it still engage the mds?

@@Toro704 So then is the green 4 cylinder on the screen just do that as 'standard' instrumentation when you let off the throttle even though it's not engaging mds? Ha sorry just used to my 5.7 non mds after 19 years driving my 2004 Ram Rumblebee daily.

@@Toro704 Found a 2021 '1320' in Octane Red with the Napa seats/Convenience package, Plus package & memory seats with 7000 miles on it. (Sadly the Nexans are long gone replaced with Sailun cheapo performance tire) But you gotta expect for a 2 yr old car.
