Watching your reactions to Ghost is such fun! I cannot wait for you to get to my personal favourite song of Ghost, which is Respite on the Spitalfields. A true masterpiece and sooo underrated. Thanks, guys!
Such a good song.. I get chills every time Papa appears in the mirror, even if I know it's coming 😂 Quick funfact.. Harvest moon and Hunter's moon are the traditional names for the full moons in respectively September and October. From the farmers' almanac: Hunter's moon is also called Blood or Sanguine moon, Autumn moon, Pumpkin moon or Dying moon 😊 Keep'em coming, guys. Thanks! 🤘🏻
Yes, after we did the episode, I (Itai) read a little about the song and how it came to be and apparently Neil Young's Harvest Moon title was the inspiration for Harvest Moon some time back, but Tobias wrote the full song after it was commissioned for the HK soundtrack. Very cool. Thank you for taking the time to view and engage. Much appreciated!🙏
@@myindieprodentertainment Thanks! It is so.. Refreshing.. To dig into the thoughts, meaning and planning that is hidden in Tobias' songwriting.. Can't wait for next cycle to begin 😁 Another fun fact.. The artist who has drawn pictures and album covers for the latest albums of Ghost, is working on something new.. (he is an amazing artist that draws everything by hand) .. Too early to tell if it has anything to do with next cycle, or if it has to do with the live recordings that was made during the two LA shows last year. I guess we'll have to wait.
This version of the song is actually quite different from the version that they have in the end credits of the film. Tobias wasn´t really happy with that version and asked the film production if he could change the song a bit. They refused so we have two versions of this song, the film version and the Impera album version. Great reaction, as always!
Have not heard a lot from Ghost, mainly just their song Rats, which I really like. This one was awesome too, and I loved the ambiguity. It could be about someone visiting a grave after a long time to deal with the loss - but also about someone coming back from the grave to take someone back with them. Another great reaction :)
Perhaps you should check out our Ghost reactions playlist (link in pinned comment). They are one of our most reacted to artists on the show. Many fantastic songs! Worth your time, for sure. There are a few there that are influenced by eras and bands that we know you love. And yes, Tobias' writing is almost always multi-layered. He gives you many meanings and generally, no one clear answer, which makes it all the more interesting. Thank you for, once again, taking the time to view and engage. We truly appreciate all the support and attention you've give n our little show. People like you make all the hard work worth it.🙏
@@myindieprodentertainment Thanks, I will check your playlist :) I really don't know a lot about this band, which better way to find out? Edit: Oh heck, there's a LOT of them 😂This might take a while...
We certainly did watch the whole thing. We know that this is from the Halloween Kills soundtrack and we mention that, but taking that at face value would be pointless, so we give it some kind of interpretation outside of that as well. That is what music as an art form is all about and we try to treat it with the respect it deserves.
'Zenith' is on the list. Ghost are one of our most reacted to artists on the channel, so we try to spread them out. We'll hopefully get to it soon. Stay tuned. Thank you for taking the time to view and engage. Much appreciated!🙏

You didnt watch the whole thing. Jeez,..
This is about Michael Myers and Laurie when they were children.
